Uh I wouldn't come here. None of us really enjoyed our food, unfortunately. The service was good though, I think our server was new but he was nice and management helped as well. Which was appreciated. We ordered some green looking juice, forgot the name. It was alcoholic in a larger jug. It was so disgusting. Have had a lovely meal in here before. Had boasted about it to friends also. Went again and took friends. Was a disaster. My food was fine. Other than having to wait to find a waiter to get me the right slaw I ordered. Then find another waiter once that one didn't come back. My friends chicken skewed had a raw piece in it. Sent back to kitchen to cook. Waitress isn't even apologise. After 10 mins had not returned and we had all finished. By that stage she no longer wanted the food. They said they would take her meal off the bill but we could not work out why the bill came to what it did. Tuned out they had not taken the meal off the bill. There was no real sincere apology considering the extent of the mistakes. read more

Brazilian food with a London twist? Yes please! Loved my dinner, appetizers, and drinks from Cabana so much that we ate here a second night. The flavors are on point, the prices are in budget, and the atmosphere is perfect. Sadly, the service was suuuuuper sloooooow. Yes, I'm American and love good service, but our dinner dragged on because it took forever to get our bills and full meal delivered. But let's get real: it's Wembley so pickings are slim. The food was tasty, and promptly delivered. But this was hands the worst service I've ever received in a restaurant. It was post concert, so I understand the restaurant was busy. On our way for a night out I popped into that Brazilian bbq restaurant with a couple of friends. The ambiance is really nice, the decor is warm and the direct view on the grill from anywhere in the room helps a lot to build up an appetite. After being hurried up by no less than 3 waiters, the easy "special of the month" was everybody's choice. Sweet potatoes fries, melted cheese & beef&pork feijoada, served with a pork and papaya sausage wheel. The meal ended up being really tasty, even after the 35min of wait. The only down point to that place is the waiting time too long once the orders have been placed. But I will give them a second chance for sure, the food is nice and the prices are reasonable. read more

Oh my goodness what a place. If you like BBQ this is the place to go! Everything is so so fresh & the entire kitchen is visible from almost every table in the restaurant. I had guacamole with plantaine crisps, which was the perfect starter, light, fresh & tasty. All 3 of us that were there on the night ordered their signature chicken skewers in malagueta sauce, which we could see being cooked in front of us. We each got a different side to share so we had chips, cassava chips which were light, fluffy and crispy (although doused in salt). I have to say though, the star of the show for me tonight was the steaming bowl of black beans which were just delicious. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a light bite with a summery feel. Having called it light, we all left the restaurant completely full & satisfied! read more

I ventured over to the new wembley branch of cabana and once again i was not disappointed. on the first floor on the corner its quite an airy space. If you love spice this is the place - i just love the malagueta sauce - its addictive. I started off with the spicy malagueta prawns - which were so plump and juicy i did trade a prawn to sample some of my families dishes eg the pork slider and salmon cerviche - it was a tough call as to which was the nicest. I had a huge slab of ribs for the main meal it comes with coleslaw and you need to order your sides eg chips rice etc my son would have had the kids menu but unfortunately they have taken off the pork & papaya hotdog so i had to get him this off the main menu. For dessert i had the most amazing ice cream - GUAVA - it was sooo lovely i really need to know where i can get some for home, If you like the Malagueta sauce you can buy a bottle (which i unfortunately forgot to do) They have a new branch opening in islington in Dec and I hope to try that one out too. I have asked them nicely to consider opening in wimbledon or croydon - so fingers crossed read more

The most chewiest Latin American steak I ever had. The shrimp appetizer is really good. The sides I had with my steak was the Spring Greens and the heart of palm salad. Both were good. The Chimmichuri tastes like chutney so don't get that. The table hot sauce is pretty good. Service was extremely slow, even for London standards.. read more

Decided to try out the place as I had never been before, I was really disappointed. Firstly we were provided with wired old salad with our meal, then we found a hair in the replacement salad and finally the food was scorching hot that it scolded the tongue. This place has a nice ambience and friendly staff. However I was not very impressed with the food. We came on a relatively quiet evening and were pretty shocked with the food.had cheesy dough balls at the start And they were cold, the cheese was just a cold mush inside the dough balls. And guacamole tasted more like avocado paste than actual Guac. The cocktails were not so bad but when I asked for a diet coke the pint glass was filled from the bottom to the top with ice and was charged £2.50 for maybe 100ml of coke! For mains I had the ribs, and they tasted like they were just reheated and not actually grilled (a bit of a shock for a bbq place!) the meat was so hard to pull off the bone I actually gave up half way! The pulled pork burger was not so bad, but for the quality of food was quite bad for a £60 bill for just two of us! read more

A group of us ladies went out for dinner and as we hadn't seen each other in a while we then agreed to go for drinks and came here. I've been here a few times for drinks and each time have had a good time. The bar staff are really good and the drinks are good. I haven't tried the cocktails but have heard good things that next time I am here I will try it. read more

AWFUL Awful service. It was a lovely sunny day with lots of seating outside which we were not allowed to sit and eat at (im thinking they are not insured to serve food 5steps away from the inside of the restaurant) fair enough. It was not busy at all and after being seated and waitress not really bothered to explain offers which we later realised we ordered 2 mojitos. It was also happy hour but and the 2for1 offer rationale was so silly we had to order 2 of the same drinks even though the offer were against other drinks. While the waitress huffed and puffed rolling her eyes are my question of an UN CLEAR MENU i ignored it. Ok now mint in a mojito is BASIC knowledge. To my suprise drinks arrived with no fresh mint which i asked if they could please add mint. I meannnn bartender you only need to memorise the drinks menu! A whole 45 mins later ( may i add we were the only table dining and not even tap water offered in the mean time) no drinks and nearly finished the food which was bland and not 'brazilian' like at all, drinks arrived with no joke 2 tinyyy mint leaves in each glass. Anyway we chose to ignore. Then i saw the manager shout and gesture quite rudely to waitress infront of everyone about serving the mojitos to another table instead of us. Manager had no professionalism at all and looked like she didnt want to be at work at all. THE ONLY GOOD THING ABOUT THIS RESTAURANT WAS THE MUSIC PLAYLIST! if your looking for some authentic south american food would not recommend this place at alll. read more

My husband and I take a seat at a table outside. The waiter, Amine, came and said hello. We greeted him back and asked for the menus ( because he just stood still after saying hello and stared at us ), as we are in a restaurant, I would have expected that to be a given, butnevermind. We got the menus, mine was smothered in a sticky substance, my hands were sticking to the menu, and I pointed out the obvious, and instead of making sure the lady got a tissue and a new menu, he basically just told me about families coming there with kids and I said nevermind, I will use my husbands menu. We asked about the big sharing platter, as we had never been in your restaurant, and it seemed we could taste a bit of everything by going for that. He kindly went in and asked the chef if that was possible, as it was a game day, and came back and confirmed he had ordered that for us. We said thank you, and meanwhile, had had a good look at the menu, and wanted to go for several different side orders, to get to try something of everything. He just went off, while I was in the process of asking him about something about a dish. When I said, excuse me, we are still ordering, he came back and said: 'Why are you being like this with me?' Absolutely shocking behaviour, that he takes it personally that a customer wants to COMPLETE their order!! I have NEVER had such strange and infantile behaviour. My husband and I explained, that we were surprised he went off, when we were not done with our order. He said that there were other customers, and he thought we should have a look at the menu. I said, that we did already, and wanted to ask about some dishes and the content. ( As is very natural when you are in a restaurant, I might add! ) I also stated that we were customers aswell, and told him if he was busy, he could leave us. So he did. To be honest, my spouse and I had a chat about his behaviour, and decided to leave and never come back and write about this negative experience. We told a female waitress, that we were leaving, and to cancel the sharing platter, and she kindly asked us why, and we told her about his behaviour. She suggested I talked to management, I declined. Amine overheard this, and waved and said 'goodbye!' in Arabic, as to show me with all his body language, that he was happy we left. I told my husband about this gesture, he was furious, and insisted we went back to have a word with him and with management. I talked to the supervisor, who really did not seem to either be apologetic nor listen, and kept telling me about misunderstandings and bad communication, instead of taking the matter seriously. He also told me Amine was his best waiter, which I did not think helped the situation, but reading between the lines, it means that basically, we are idiots, and Amine was right, and your restaurant does not care about us or our mortifying experience. The whole incident felt like a kindergarden experience. So far, nobody, except the waitress there, apologised for this. And she certainly had nothing to apologise for. We are still waiting for the owner, to get back to us, and it has been more than 2 weeks, so I don't believe he took my complain seriously. DO NOT go here, if you are a person who knows what good service, food and management is all about! read more
