    Watermelon salad (added salmon)

We ordered the food from the center bar where two guys were working. We got the breakfast burrito and watermelon salad for $17 and $20 respectively. Pros - the breakfast burrito was average, not much else to say besides that. It's big enough to fill you up for breakfast. The salad was also decent. Cons - the balding manlet bartending was constantly yelling "tight" (as in customers not tipping enough). Annoying, childish and embarrassing. 5/10

Location - Poolside restaurant thats not as great. Food - Everything here is small size served as in Small salad, small chicken strips. The salad looks like something they buy at the store and mark it up 3x for profit. Prices - I know pool food is expensive but I think its a bit too overpriced for what you get. Service - Delivery service wasn't too bad the day I went. Overall I would rather eat somewhere else but if its the only options it will have to do.

For a pool side cafe, I was pretty happy impressed (so this review is in comparison to other eateries you'd find at a pool). My chicken quesadilla had fresh ingredients. My fruit bowl was packed with ripe fruit. The drinks were a reasonable price. Couldn't have been more satisfied with a place that you can sit outside near the pool and dine.

This is the grill poolside at MGM. I ordered chicken tenders, nachos, and a burger for food and a patron margarita and Bloody Mary. Drinks run 20-25 if you get the bigger side. My husband didn't feel for $28 the patron margarita had enough alcohol in it to substantiate the cost. The Bloody Mary was actually veryyyyy good. The chicken tenders were basic, nachos were soggy, burger was bland since we had to put it all together poolside from the to-go packaging. I accidentally double ordered nachos on the app and was very upset that for very low quality food and drink, I spent $145. I would highly recommend if you spend this kind of money for 2 adults and 2 kids to do Wolfgang puck instead. The biggest disappointment in my MGM stay to be honest.

Club sandwich with a side of fries

The Cabana Grill is located poolside the MGM Grand Pool. If you choose to "dine in" they have an outdoor area that is separated specifically for restaurant patrons. This area has fans blowing and mist machines going to keep you cool in the intense heat. There is also a self serve area where you can go up to a counter and order the same food and either take back to your room or eat in a shaded area with outdoor tables and benches. I came here twice and participated in both options. The dining in experience was nice and relaxing. You are able to get a nice lunch while also taking in the poolside atmosphere. I had the club sandwich and it was huge! The fries were amaze balls as well. I was completely stuffed after this meal which rarely happens for me. Prices were relatively inexpensive. A cheap lunch could run you from $10-20. They do serve alcohol hear, as they do at almost every establishment in Vegas. I also had the pizza from here to go and this was not as good. Though it is cheaper to grab your food on the go it is much more of a pleasant experience when you are seated and dining under the fans. The slice of pizza was just average and it was $8. For a dollar or so less I could have went to Bonanno's in the food court. The fries on the go option was nice though. Cabana Grill is the only but a good poolside option.

She did mention a few menu items, but we ordered other items. Beef Wellington - little meat sliders topped with pastry, not our normal pastry wrapped hunk of meat, came with a side of brussel spouts. The pastry was buttery and flakey, meat was tender, brussel sprouts nice and soft but with some crispy bits - sweet/savory! Flatbread pizza - all meat pizza, and they didn't skimp on the toppings! nice crunch on the crust with a good cheese pull! Plus who doesn't love greasy pizza after a long night out in Vegas?! LOL Chicken Alfredo - perfectly cooked fettuccine and creamy Alfredo sauce (always a go to!) Shrimp rolls - came out warm and crispy - great crunch but very oily especially with the aioli too creamy for my taste felt as if there was a film of grease after. This spot is great any time of day - you can dine in or take out, regardless you won't be disappointed - they have a plethora of items to choose from!

Everything was super tasty, fresh, and prepared really well. We ordered everything for takeout, and the food was still excellent. For takeout orders, you order at the bakery area in the front, which is a really nice setup and very convenient. The restaurant itself is huge, with a large dining area and a nice bar. The whole place has a great atmosphere and plenty of space. Between the fresh and delicious food, the large dining area, nice bar, convenient bakery/takeout area, and the excellent service from Leslie, we had a really good experience. Definitely a place I would come back to and try more items from the menu.

Everything we tried was fresh, beautifully presented, and packed with flavor. The duck is a must-have dish. Great atmosphere and a fun spot to share a few dishes. We put in our order - one pork ramen, one mushroom ramen, and one kids meal + pork belly buns as a starter. One ramen and the kids ramen arrived together. The 2nd ramen arrived 15 minutes after that. They forgot our pork belly buns completely. Despite the large number of staff to customers ratio... it took over 10 minutes to flag down anyone for a fork for a small kid. Our server did not check on us. Her colleagues dropped off the food. When we reminded her that the order never arrived she sounded apologetic. They took off the item + actually packed the pork belly buns in a Togo box. The food overall is good! But for the price (I am from the bay area so I understand how much VCOL should cost). But this was about 25% too high. Someone needs to look hard at the level of service. Because the lady right next to me had her order screwed up and they left items off the menu too.
