    Watermelon salad (added salmon)
    Groyper G.

We ordered the food from the center bar where two guys were working. We got the breakfast burrito and watermelon salad for $17 and $20 respectively. Pros - the breakfast burrito was average, not much else to say besides that. It's big enough to fill you up for breakfast. The salad was also decent. Cons - the balding manlet bartending was constantly yelling "tight" (as in customers not tipping enough). Annoying, childish and embarrassing. 5/10

Location - Poolside restaurant thats not as great. Food - Everything here is small size served as in Small salad, small chicken strips. The salad looks like something they buy at the store and mark it up 3x for profit. Prices - I know pool food is expensive but I think its a bit too overpriced for what you get. Service - Delivery service wasn't too bad the day I went. Overall I would rather eat somewhere else but if its the only options it will have to do.

For a pool side cafe, I was pretty happy impressed (so this review is in comparison to other eateries you'd find at a pool). My chicken quesadilla had fresh ingredients. My fruit bowl was packed with ripe fruit. The drinks were a reasonable price. Couldn't have been more satisfied with a place that you can sit outside near the pool and dine.

This is the grill poolside at MGM. I ordered chicken tenders, nachos, and a burger for food and a patron margarita and Bloody Mary. Drinks run 20-25 if you get the bigger side. My husband didn't feel for $28 the patron margarita had enough alcohol in it to substantiate the cost. The Bloody Mary was actually veryyyyy good. The chicken tenders were basic, nachos were soggy, burger was bland since we had to put it all together poolside from the to-go packaging. I accidentally double ordered nachos on the app and was very upset that for very low quality food and drink, I spent $145. I would highly recommend if you spend this kind of money for 2 adults and 2 kids to do Wolfgang puck instead. The biggest disappointment in my MGM stay to be honest.

Club sandwich with a side of fries

The Cabana Grill is located poolside the MGM Grand Pool. If you choose to "dine in" they have an outdoor area that is separated specifically for restaurant patrons. This area has fans blowing and mist machines going to keep you cool in the intense heat. There is also a self serve area where you can go up to a counter and order the same food and either take back to your room or eat in a shaded area with outdoor tables and benches. I came here twice and participated in both options. The dining in experience was nice and relaxing. You are able to get a nice lunch while also taking in the poolside atmosphere. I had the club sandwich and it was huge! The fries were amaze balls as well. I was completely stuffed after this meal which rarely happens for me. Prices were relatively inexpensive. A cheap lunch could run you from $10-20. They do serve alcohol hear, as they do at almost every establishment in Vegas. I also had the pizza from here to go and this was not as good. Though it is cheaper to grab your food on the go it is much more of a pleasant experience when you are seated and dining under the fans. The slice of pizza was just average and it was $8. For a dollar or so less I could have went to Bonanno's in the food court. The fries on the go option was nice though. Cabana Grill is the only but a good poolside option.

I ordered the Strawberry Shine, which was refreshing, well-balanced, and not overly sweet. A special shoutout to the staff, who were incredibly friendly and accommodating. They were more than happy to adjust the syrup level to my preference, which I really appreciated since it allowed me to customize the drink exactly how I liked it. I love the ice that they use here because it allows the drink to stay cold the entire time as I sip on it. One thing that stood out to me was the seating area. You can chill/relax with a coffee in hand. Whether you're meeting up with friends or just looking for a quiet spot to unwind, the atmosphere makes it easy to settle in and stay awhile. The cafe is in a somewhat quiet plaza that doesn't get a ton of foot traffic, making it feel a bit like a hidden gem. Despite the location, the people here were incredibly welcoming and the overall vibe was relaxed and laid-back. The breakfast was really good as well. I ordered the sausage egg bite which was the perfect size for me as I just wanted to nibble on something as I enjoy my coffee with friends. I'll definitely be back the next time I'm in the area.

We mostly do the drive-thru, but have been inside a couple of times. It's very clean and cozy. I believe our favorite drink is called the Campfire Mocha. It's so yummy. A mocha lightly spiced with cinnamon and cayenne pepper. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area!

Florentine Cafe is morning-through-night business operating out of one section of Sgrizzi Ristorante near the corner of Blue Diamond and Rainbow. I'd meant to stop by before and finally found myself back in the area. Upon noticing all the gelato reviews, I knew what I was having for dessert. This was a surprisingly great experience. They offer a wide variety of sandwiches and pastries, but even with all the treats on display, they found room for 6 gelato makers. They also let me sample all of the flavors, and I found myself every one available today except for blackberry. Thankfully, they also were willing to fill my large cup ($7.15; get this instead of downgrading to small for just $6.75) with as many of the flavors as I wanted. And they smartly put strawberry on top for a light start, with vanilla and coffee appearing next, and pistachio and chocolate near the bottom. The texture was consistently smooth and almost too light/airy, but it didn't detract from the flavors. Coffee may have had some odd pooling of the coffee flavors in some parts, but it was potent overall. Pistachio should not appear that green but tasted as a browner true pistachio would. And the chocolate was quite rich, a great end to the flight-in-a-cup. I will probably come back to Florentine Cafe if I'm in the area because that gelato deserves all the second and third and so on looks. And I probably have to try the pastries like the martiozzi, a brioche stuffed with a gargantuan amount of cream, which Amelinda specifically recommended. Hopefully they keep rotating the gelato flavors too, as other reviews have mentioned some tantalizing choices.

Reviews of this Korean coffee shop were impressive enough for us to give it a try. This "hidden" coffee shop had "speakeasy" vibes as it was a bit hard to find. Online photos led us to a massive, unmarked medieval-style wooden door with an "open" banner. Definitely don't judge a book by its cover as the interior featured antique furniture, a glass atrium, soaring trees, and a 3-level wooden bookshelf-reading area designed like a grandstand with seating you could climb on. I suggest staying here awhile and enjoy the F&D inside as it is definitely social media worthy and a gem in LV's Chinatown. After saving our spot, the gang proceeded to order from the long queue at the bar area. Took photos and marveled at this cozy cafe while waiting for our assortment of coffees and baked goodies to arrive. I had The Gäbi (dry cappuccino topped with raw sugar and espresso grounds) while my wife opted for the velvety Einspänner. We shared a Berry Ricotta Brioche. I was able to taste the other artisan pastries (Ube Mille Cake, Tiramisu Croissant and Strawberry Shortcake to name some) from our group and they were as good as they looked. The only complaint is the pricier bill than what other coffee shops might charge. I guess this view is at a cost then. First time trying in a Korean coffee shop and we loved it! We would definitely return if we're in this neck-of-the-woods again.

We specifically wanted to stay off the Strip because Vegas prices on the Strip can be pretty wild, so we found this place through Yelp. The space is really cute and has a cool industrial feel, with books and other little touches that make it more interesting than your typical dessert spot. They even had a couch swing, which turned out to be a lifesaver when my toddler was getting a little cranky. The desserts were good, but I have to say the prices felt pretty steep for the portions -- around $12-$13 for a very small slice. We tried an ube dessert and a matcha dessert. The matcha one was definitely my favorite. It had this interesting French-style flavor/profile and felt more unique. The ube one was just okay for me. And as a Filipino, I have to be honest: putting ube in something doesn't automatically make it amazing. I feel like sometimes ube gets treated as the magic ingredient when it's really about how well it's actually executed. Overall, I'd give it 4 stars. It's a cute place, the atmosphere is fun, and it served exactly what we needed that day -- a casual little birthday-weekend dessert stop somewhere away from the Strip. I'm glad we found it, but given the prices and portion sizes, I'm not sure it would be a regular stop for us.

I had their crouffle, which was good. The food came out quickly after ordering. And several pieces of cutlery were dirty which was concerning. Service-wise, we were seated promptly which was nice. The cashier was helpful and nice so that was a positive. However two issues occurred while we waited for our food. First, the older guy who works in the front of the restaurant took a chair from the table next to us where a little girl was sitting until she got up to place her order, menu still placed on the table in the spot where she was seated moments earlier. The appalling part was he didn't ask the mom if the chair was being used, he just took it away and placed it at the table behind us. Then when it was pointed out to him that a guest was sitting there, he placed the chair back without acknowledgement of his mistake as if that's OK to do to a patron. I found that to be incredibly rude to do to a guest!!! And then while I'm half way done drinking my tea, the busboy tries to clear my tea saucer with the spoon, tea bag, and honey on it -- which i was saving for a second steep. When I tell him no, you can't take it I'm still using it which he should be able to see, he laughs and walks off. I don't appreciate being rushed while I'm eating. He should ask and confirm a response before he ever touches a plate on the table. He needs to be coached on that. Overall, they really need to improve the customer experience. The sad part is I tipped when I ordered (that's how their restaurant is set up) and I'm not happy that I tipped well and then witnessed poor treatment to a guest next to us and was also treated poorly by staff. Went out of our way to leave the strip since this place has such good reviews but it was a disappointing breakfast for us for sure.

I ordered a couple of their homemade Pop-Tarts, which looked great, but the flavor just wasn't there for me. The topping tasted mostly like straight confectioners' sugar without much flavor or balance. I was expecting something more distinctive, especially considering how good they look, but they fell flat. The bigger issue for me was how disorganized the entire operation felt. There appeared to be plenty of employees working behind the counter, yet the line was moving very slowly. Staff seemed to be struggling with the payment system, the barista was trying to keep up with drink orders, and overall it didn't seem like there was much structure around who was responsible for what. Having a lot of employees on the floor doesn't necessarily help if the workflow isn't organized, and that was definitely the impression I got during my visit.
