They then brought our stuff up to Catskill and loaded it into our house, and this was not an easy move, yet they remained cheerful and upbeat, even taking a bunch of heavy things up to the attic. They were organized, professional and friendly (and laughed at my bad dad jokes) I got an estimate sight unseen from Jim that turned out to be spot on. I thought the price was fair. Like I said in the previous review; it's like they were moving their own furniture. One of their truck's is across the street, moving someone out of the complex. It's not unusual to see someone moving; most of the time it's with U-Haul. I'm watching the movers bringing the people's furniture out of the building. Everything seems to be wrapped in plastic to keep it from getting wet and damaged. The guys are working fast. I don't know the family. I do know they'll be happy with the service they get from Triangle Movers. I hope they do a Yelp review.

The guys showed up precisely when they said, and would have worked without taking a break if I hadn't made them take lunch! Peter always answered my calls or texts promptly, and checked with me the night before I was expecting him to confirm. Keith and Mike who helped him were all super polite and hard working. They filled three PODS in nine hours! Pete helped me to make the decision to try to get them all done in one day, that way I saved money. The truck drivers who loaded and unloaded my container were excellent--they answered all of my questions, provided clear timelines, and kept me updated with calls when they left the unit and when they arrived at my home. Their communication was always on point. The only downside was that my container was extremely dirty, almost as if it had been used to transport charcoal. Because of this, I strongly recommend wrapping items in blankets and stretch wrap to prevent them from getting stained. Unfortunately, my mattress cover was ripped during the move and ended up with black marks. Overall, the professionalism and communication stood out, but I do wish the container had been in better condition.

Every time I called the customer service could not answer my questions and my boxes looked like they were thrown around. Both the people who packed and unpacked were hard working but I was overall disappointed. They called me on the day of the move and tried to increase the price despite multiple calls prior to get an accurate assessment with the sales woman. I have not written a review before but I suggest proceeding with caution and taking your valuables separately. Their quote was initially cheaper than the other quotes & it seemed like an easy decision to go with them. Little did I know that there will be many other additional fees that they will ask to pay before they unload the furniture at the new place. The movers came on time and moved everything out pretty fast. There was some damage to my furniture (scratches and tears) which I was told the owner will call me about l, but it's been 3 weeks and I've yet to get a call. I was told that I need to pay toll, which I agreed to. But they didn't tell me that I needed to pay their toll going back home taking GWS bridge (which was a $30 toll). They tried to charge me other fees like taxes, 10-15% forced tips (not optional), travel fee etc. Fortunately I had an email from the owner saying that tax was included in the price so I didn't have to pay another tax. The movers wanted all these new charges paid before they would unload our stuff, so obviously we didn't have any other option but to pay them to get our furniture. After all these payments I realized that I had other companies who quoted me less for the entire move than NY haul because of their **hidden fees**. Not a good experience! I really didn't like all the hidden fees that they strategically brought on before giving us our things back. I created their yelp account because there was no other place they can be reviewed. Their so called "google reviews" on their website can't be found on google. They aren't professional & will end up charging you more on the day of. Good luck moving!
