I was searching online for a local facility that offers live scan services when I came across CA Private Security Academy. This is a small establishment located behind 7 Eleven on the corner of Francis and Central. Parking is no issue. I called ahead this morning and was told I could simply walk in with my live scan request form and they'd be able to take me right away. When I arrived, the nice man at the front desk greeted me and processed my paperwork quickly. Shout out to Sandra (?) as well for taking my fingerprints and being patient with me. She was super friendly and informative, doing her best to answer all of my questions and make the process as quick and comfortable as possible. I'd say I was in and out in about 10-15 minutes. Great service overall, and if I ever need another live scan in the future I will return! read more

I'm giving it a one star because the lady that works there the heavy set purple hair woman with glasses name Sandra is very disrespectful. I was there talking to the other employees about my license and she told me to leave them alone they are busy, go sit down rudely, but they called me to the counter. I was about to pay to get another license for my job but after she said that I left and said I was going to go somewhere else. Other than that lady everyone else is great love them all! The place is great too don't get me wrong, but this will be my last time doing business there as long as she works there I'll be doing business somewhere else. If you come into work careless like we mean nothing then don't come to work at all. read more

Came here to get a Live Scan done. They offer walk-ins so no need to worry about making an appointment. It's a very small office, and it's located next to an animal clinic. The fee for the fingerprint is $21 but after the DOJ and FBI fees, it goes up to $70 total. The owner of the place will take your fingerprints. He was quick and will let you complete the Live Scan in no time. read more

Terrible ! Avoid at all cost , My boyfriend got his paper work done here for security and gun permit . They took his money said they would send him copies of services but never did . Also when it started taking past the time estimated i called the BSSI directly instead of calling these people . And guess what ! THEY NEVER RECEIVED anything ! Now they are trying to tell him that they did and it's backed up . ( mind it's been well over 8 months ) they won't even send him copies because their "internet " has issues . Straight up thieves here . Will report to BBB and if needed file a civil law suit against these thieves . Update 9/27/2019 they mixed up the social with a phone number . They suck . read more

I attended this school for all of my permits. The staff was friendly and down to earth. It surprised me about how approachable they all were, no matter how dumb of question I asked. They were very helpful in regards to where I should start looking for employment; provided me a list of companies and pointed me in the right direction. I had walked in and out of a few so called Security training schools; either they were over charging me, were rude, or I had to wait until they had enough students to fill a class. I learned about this facility from a co-worker who has used them in the past and was very satisfied with their efficiency. I called them and inquired about the procedure and cost to get certified on adult and pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED. The young lady I spoke to on the phone was very professional and informative. She scheduled me for the weekend. When I went in for my certification I dealt with Sandra, Zamora, the instructor. I found her to be extremely helpful and competent.
