This is a very great training security school. The employees here are straight up with the business of your need to achieve success in getting your permits of the security officer status. There are steps that you must take and it's simple that all you need is to listen and take your time with patience. I recommend getting the whole package deal. It includes all the firearms calibers. The main one is your guard card. That card is like a main master key as it will open up the doors to all security companies to apply. The firearms permit to get higher pay if that company has accounts that handle firearms posts. You will win more dollars compared to just being unarmed. The next is the CPR permit to help you help someone in need to help them before the emergency people arrive at the scene. Next is the pepper spray permit as that helps you to protect yourself or other people from a wild animal or person who wants to attack. You will also have your permit that shows you completed the 40 hours in which case is the written report and all modules. The only permits here that isn't available is the baton. Some companies want you to have this permit and some don't, but it's up to you if you're looking for one. These employees are extremely helpful and excellent in helping you getting trained in each step of each process. One will give you very much details in which you should take notes. He's a tough strong instructor and he's awesome how he breaks the information at the start before a class begins as he will take you to a room and ask a few simple questions to see if you meet the requirements for having the opportunity to becoming a future security officer. He will tell you straight up and let you know that a security officer is not like a police officer. Even if you had past experience in law enforcement, he will tell you to forget all about it as those laws, regulations and so on are on a different level. Next you will do a background check and send money to the state. After that you will return in a few Weeks and do a firearms test. There's another session on the firearms after doing the 40 hours course. Trust me, you might spend a bit of money to getting all of the permits, but these people and company do their job in getting you all of the permits you need. They will guarantee that you get them. Please note that permits do take time to receive them in the mail. Plus this location you must pay cash only. I came back to them after a little over ten years as I had a change in my history of life, but I should had just renewed it to keep them permits active instead. There location is nearby the metro link in case you don't want to drive and a bit away from the regular metro gold line. Driving might be your best method in case you want to arrive early. P.s. the firearms range is located on a different city and you need to arrive early in the morning as your class will have like a vip treatment and it's on a weekend.

Classes are typically held at his many physical campuses in the morning, as well as in the evening to accommodate for the average work schedule, and Saturday mornings. However, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, all classes are now being held online (the classes must go on!). Most, if not all of the content Doc Manny teaches is easy to comprehend, whether you have a medical background or not. Classes are year-round so you can start when you want, but they move at your own pace. It's not formatted like traditional schools, where they start in the fall and end in the spring; Doc is able to teach in a way that progresses each student no matter where they are or when they started. Depending on how quick you learn, you may finish earlier than others, even if you both started at the same time. This also includes taking/passing the AHIMA test (I finished mine & got my certification in 4 months! Thanks to my classmates too for all your help & encouragement). If for some reason you're unable to grasp what's being taught, Doc Manny will repeat it over and over again until it clicks. For incoming students, the whole process can be overwhelming and a bit challenging at times, but once you find your footing and get a feel for things, you'll be right on track. Dr. Manny Santiago has been teaching medical coding for 20+ years and he really illustrates the experience through his passion for the job. He is very knowledgeable, professional, caring, patient, supportive, approachable, and most of all, very accommodating to his student's needs. He is always ready to answer any of your questions. As an added bonus, he keeps students engaged through much needed jokes, and some times, unintended humor! :) Once you've passed his class and you're finally a CCS (Certified Coding Specialist), he will also assist you in getting a job. I really had an awesome experience at HSJ. I learned so much from Doc Manny, as well as from his great proctors GJ Blanco, Mike Agbayani and Marie Garcia!!! I highly recommend this school to anyone!

Working with ABC Traffic Safety (AZUSA) has been simple, straight-forward, and overall helpful. In the beginning, I was calling several local establishments searching for an affordable and convenient DUI program. What stood out to me about ABC Traffic was how kind and informative the front desk ladies were over the phone. Getting a DUI sucks and is very stressful, but the patience I received from the front desk at ABC really made me trust that I would be in the right hands there. The 3-Month DUI program is very affordable compared to other programs offered. However, there are a few drawbacks. The course is actually 15-weeks, so it's more like a 3.5-month program. They also require that you attend 6 AA meetings. You can thankfully knock out these AA meeting pretty quickly when you consider that if you do one every day, it'll only take about a week and they can be done online. You also have to attend 3 in-person counseling meetings at the ABC Traffic offices. One at the beginning, one in the middle of your program, and one at the end. These are fairly quick and don't last more than 10 mins. They just sort of act as an evaluation of your progress and how the programs may or may not be helping you. Pretty easy. One thing I see frequently in the comments is a lot of complaints that they charge $30 for rescheduling classes, missing appointments, and for being late to classes even by one minute. While yes, this is annoying and I've had to pay this fee a few times, a lot of these issues are completely in your control. If you show up to class early, this shouldn't be an issue. Paying $30 to reschedule is certainly an inconvenience, but this is likely to dissuade people from just rescheduling freely whenever they want, wasting everyone's time, and taking up valuable spots on class times that might have a waitlist. Just show up to all your classes ON TIME, make sure you pay your weekly dues, and you will avoid these fees. Now onto the quality of the classes. I can only speak on what I've experienced in the first 8 weeks. I attended weekly online classes through RingCentral every Saturday at 8am. Thankfully I was able to schedule my next 7 classes on Saturday at 10:00am, so these classes do not affect my Mon-Fri job. Part of why I chose ABC Traffic is because they offer these weekend classes. It sucked having to wake up early on the weekend to attend these classes, but eventually, I began to look forward to them. Our group counselor, Danny, was a chill, caring, personable, and thoughtful facilitator. The classes, while of course covering topics related to drugs & alcohol, also functioned as sort of group therapy sessions. Danny would ask us how we were feeling, give a highlight of our week, and then ask us to speak specifically on the drug & alcohol topic for the day. Danny was an incredibly patient listener, offered kind, meaningful, and personal advice, and made you more hopeful at the end of every session. While I was usually too nervous to speak up at times, I was always glad when I did and felt better afterwards. He was also very down-to-earth and didn't make us feel like he was "better" than us, or that he was judging us. He openly and freely talked about his own tragic experiences with drugs and alcohol, which made him appear humble and made me feel like he was coming from a place of honesty and truth. It takes a lot of self-confidence and strength to admit your faults the way Danny did, but that also demonstrated that there is a path to forgiveness and recovery. I don't know if Danny is facilitating my next set of classes, but I really hope he is. If you are looking for a place in LA County to fulfill your 3-Month DUI Program obligations, look into ABC Traffic School (AZUSA). It is affordable, the customer service is great, they offer weekend classes, and counselor Danny is just a fantastic group facilitator. Attend all your classes, be on time (get there 5 mins early to be safe), try your best not to reschedule, and you will complete your program with no hassle.

First off, the staff is very amazing Antoinette, Geraldine and Nancy they have great customer…read moreservice and ppl that think otherwise are people who don't know how to follow rules and only like to blame others. I'm cheap so I made sure not to miss anything and have what is needed by the deadlines so I wouldn't pay any extra fees. Policies are straight forward the staff tells you about them when you enroll and you also read it when you sign up and if you don't then you must be illiterate. I highly recommend this dui office the staff really does care and tells you what you need to do to complete. Classes can be one online which is so convenient, but yet some people can't follow directions and still manage to get kicked out of class. SMH they must be rich. Getting a dui is a hassle and waste of money so I hope I learned my lesson because this office only does first offenders dui.
