While the enrollment…read moreprocess was quick and the hands-on training with my instructor Oscar was a strong part of the experience, the program was ultimately undermined by inconsistent communication and lack of administrative support. Oscar was patient, knowledgeable, and genuinely dedicated to student success. Being in a one-on-one setting allowed for focused instruction, and he even continued to assist me after he left the school--something I truly appreciated. However, after the classroom portion ended, the experience became difficult. I completed my classes in mid-January and was told I was ready to begin my externship, but didn't receive placement or meaningful communication until mid-March. I had to follow up repeatedly just to get updates. The clinic I was placed at was also in Los Angeles, which was not convenient given the school's Ontario location. Additionally, I received several forwarding emails that I was meant to be out of, other student email responses from a licensing issues--something that should have been handled more professionally and privately. While I'm thankful for the instruction I received from Oscar, the lack of structure and follow-through on the administrative side left a bitter part to my experience and was slightly misled by some of the faulty 5 star reviews left

I got lucky to find this school close by and for my job to sponsor me to take the excel boot camp. I wanted to refresh the things I learned in college almost 20 years ago but haven't used much since. And also to just step my excel game up in general so I could actually make excel do things for me as opposed to using it simply for data entry. I did the basic boot camp that spanned 3 consecutive Saturday sessions. Nice, clean and private learning facility in a cool location downtown upland. The instructor was Michael and he was fantastic. Very knowledgeable and good and explaining the information and fielding questions as we moved through the material. The classes were broken up into nice lesson segments and although each had a different main focus there were recurring things a lot too which helped seeing them integrated in different contexts. I feel confident that practicing the skills we learned in class will help me utilize excel much more efficiently and I feel that with this base I could also teach myself new things more effectively too using online aids. Highly recommend the class and instructor!

One of…read morethe zone in the front yard didn't work and the valve was leaking and my backyard sprinklers were a mess. I tried calling around but no one was picking up. I was SOO FORTUNATE that I called Irrigator technical services. Richard picked up the phone immediately. With a friendly and welcoming voice, he asked what he can do for me. I explained to him my sprinkler problems and he asked me to send some photos of my lawn valve and timer box. He looked at the photos and then packed his truck with the needed supplies and off he went to my home on the same day. He arrived as promised, assessed the problems and knew what to do! He is very knowledgeable and it's obvious from talking to him that he's a master in his craft. He teaches courses to have other aspiring irrigation technician certified. He was showing me and explaining every step of what he was doing. He even gave me valuable insights and advices on how irrigation system work and how to care for my lawn. My irrigation system needed quite a few repairs, but he knew exactly what to do. He replaced one of the backyard valve system, front yard's diaphragm from the anti-siphon filter, redid the timer wiring, upgraded my timer box, and replace some sprinkler heads to the appropriate types for the garden. He was so nice to talk to and I can tell he genuinely loves what he does and takes satisfaction in helping homeowners get their irrigation system to work to get their lawn and garden in top shape. He knows landscaping very well and was explaining what kind of trees, scrubs and plants I have and how they grow and how I should water them. During his work, he needed some parts from his office. As promised, he came back the next day, and finished the job and now my home has a strong working sprinkler system and an improved timer box that I completely love! I am glad I found a quality and honest irrigation specialist that I can rely on to get the job done. I would definitely seek Richard and Irrigator Technical Service for any future needs. His pricing and quality of work was more than fair. Apparently, he also runs a shop that sell irrigation parts and he partakes in talk shows to help other homeowners get advice on lawn care. Richard is a great guy and a pleasure doing business with!

Immediately after finishing, I was hired by the same company where I completed my internship. When I was ready to obtain my CADC, my instructor at Healthstaff, Miguel Palos, went above and beyond to support me. He provided exam review sessions, guidance on study materials, and insight into what to expect on test day. Thanks to his support, I passed my exam with confidence and without anxiety. I have recommended Healthstaff's program to many people and will continue to do so--especially the classes taught by Miguel. This program truly prepared me for success in the field.

She was incredibly helpful throughout the process and truly cared about helping students succeed after graduation. Her advice and encouragement made such a difference for me. I want to start by saying that the instructors in this program have been excellent. The theory and…read moreclinical faculty I've worked with are knowledgeable, supportive, and clearly invested in student learning. My frustration has been with the administrative side of the program. In my experience, communication with administration and advising has been slow and often unclear. Emails can take days to receive a response, and when responses do come they do not always directly answer the question that was asked. Calling the phone numbers listed in official emails has also been difficult, as I have often been unable to reach someone who can provide help. I have had several experiences like this during the program. One example that stood out was when I received urgent reminder emails stating that I needed to submit a Live Scan form by the end of the day or I would not be able to continue to the next term. At that time, I had not even been informed of my upcoming schedule, and I was no longer enrolled in the course that required the Live Scan. This created confusion and unnecessary stress. When I tried to resolve the issue, I called the numbers listed in the email but could not reach anyone. I then used the school's website live chat, which connected me to the front desk, who then transferred me to the same program assistant I had originally been trying to reach. After explaining the situation, I was given another phone number to call, which also did not work. What makes situations like this frustrating is the difference in expectations. Students are expected to meet strict deadlines with serious consequences if something is missed, yet getting clear answers or support from administration often required multiple attempts and several days. In a program where missing a requirement or class can result in being dropped and taking on additional debt, timely and clear communication is critical. Again, the instructors I've had have been great. My experience with the administrative side of the program, however, has been difficult and at times felt unsupported.
