Called Chris back and he was so kind and SUPER helpful and walked me through getting the breaker flipped back (he said you have to throw your body weight into it lol) Got it back on then he walked me through how to find the outlet in the garage to reset it. He didn't have to do that and went out of his way to help me!!! If I ever need actual electrical work I will 100% call Gilwee and absolutely recommend to anyone!

After meeting with Eric I immediately got that good feeling we all want before hiring someone to work on your home. He was honest with me and not trying to sell me something I did not want or need. His guy did a great job and clean up after themselves, witch is very nice to see. Now five years later the system still works great and I am very happy with the job and a very small electric bill :)

They looked at our place and came up with a solution that took advantage of our available space and came in cheaper than the other estimates. Eric was really good to work with, and the system is performing well. I expect to upgrade to some sort of battery system in the next few years, and the system will be able to handle that. Highly recommended overall.

My friend and I together have owned two older mobile homes a while. Babying these gentrified…read moreladies has always been a chore, but recently we found ourselves at the end of the rope when we learned both homes were in serious need of urgent electrical repairs involving most aspects of the circuitry and also the power lines running between the park's pedestal and our panels. 50 years of cutting and patching wires had finally come to a head. Good electricians seem to be in short supply these days so finding a good one can be hard, but finding one with experience in the unique ends and outs of older mobile home wiring was turning out to be mission impossible. We had to find a good electrical firm who knew all the permits required and the agencies involved, and who could discern matters that are the park's concerns from those of owners and handle the ones belonging to both particularly when some involve the local utility company. It was a real mission. We are so happy to have found Four Ace Electrical Services. They have the know how and helped us to stage the complex work within our limited budget. They obtained the permits needed, worked with the park manager on the pedestal connection, and got the job done repairing our homes' circuits, establishing safe power connections, rewiring our antiquated panels, and safely reworking the A/C connection. For the first time in so many years we are no longer guessing and feel safe in our homes from electrical worries. All thanks to the diligent team in Four Ace Electrical Services! They are heros to us little ole ladies! We highly recommend them to mobile home owners without hesitation.

That job took 2 guys 1/2 day including crawling in the crawlspace attic and the price was in the $700s as I remember. I was very impressed with the work, crew and price. I had a backyard dusk to dawn light that needed replaced. I provided the $50 light and called Rick again. He could do the job the next day, but advised me his fee just to come out and look had increased from $99, to $149 because of gas and inflation. That fee is NOT waived even if you hire them. When the worker came out, he gave a quote of $474 including the $149. That's an additional $325 to swap an old light for a new light I provided. I went ahead and did it even though it was ridiculous just because they get you that way knowing you're already out the $149 if you still go find someone else. The worker was done within 30 minutes. Thirty minutes for close to $500 for one guy. Even with inflation, that's an insane increase in a handful of months for less difficult work, less time and only 1 electrician. Rick contacted me the following night to ask if I was satisfied. I told him the work was fine but I was very dissatisfied with the price. Never heard back from him. Would not recommend.

He really keeps up on current rebates and financing options which made our decision even easier! He was straight forward and did lots of things that I often don't see from contractors: 1) He was never late...always on time and showed up when he said he would 2) He cleaned up the area after working every time (even when he was coming back the next day) 3) He managed several sub-contractors on the job......and they were always on time. He also came back months after completion to check on our project and offer some tweaks to our new system (redesigned HVAC was one project he worked on) The last one really surprised me.....Have you ever paid a contractor and never seen them again after you cut the final check? We had a brand new three-ton AC unit installed along with planned HVAC system updates, with the…read moreexpectation that our airflow and temperature imbalance issues would be resolved in our 972 sq ft home. From the start, the process was confusing and did not inspire confidence. We were initially told the HVAC system would be replaced, but later informed that the space would not accommodate it as planned. The scope of work seemed unclear and ultimately was not completed as originally explained. Since installation, we have continued to experience significant temperature imbalance throughout the home. The living room becomes very cold, while the bedroom remains warm and uncomfortable--especially at night. This has been a consistent issue for the past year. Additionally, the system appears to be oversized for a home of this size. Installing a three-ton unit in a 972 sq ft space raises concerns about improper system sizing, which can lead to short cycling, poor airflow distribution, and uneven temperatures--exactly what we are experiencing. Communication has also been extremely frustrating. We have struggled to get clear answers or meaningful follow-up regarding these ongoing issues, despite raising concerns multiple times. We were recently informed that the project passed inspection, but passing inspection does not reflect real-world performance. A properly installed HVAC system should provide consistent comfort throughout the home, and that is not happening here. After a full year of unresolved issues, incomplete work, and lack of communication, we cannot recommend this company.

I cannot imagine there are many homeowners who are experts when it comes to HVAC systems. I know…read morefor a fact that I am not, it was with great trepidation that I started our search for a new system since our 40 year old system was on it's last legs, and another Sacramento summer was at hand. So I reached out to three local companies, all of whom came highly recommended, for proposals to replace the entire system, duct work included. I then put all three into ChatGPT and here is the one comment about Phoenix Energy Solutions' proposal that was the most salient. "Those are signs that the contractor is paying attention to installation quality rather than simply replacing equipment." The price was also very competitive and when the entire scope of the proposals where compared, it was the best from a cost perspective. Of course a proposal on paper, is just that, words on paper. Now it's time to see if the work stands up to the words. Yes, yes they did. Five stars here. Communication was clear, scheduling the job was prompt. The job took two days and our new Amana 3-ton 17+ SEER Variable Heat Pump system was installed and working beautifully. Now, keep in mind this is a very intrusive process, but Micah and his crew were conscientious and careful in our home. I can say without hesitation, Micah and Phoenix Energy Solutions checks all the boxes. Knowledgable - Check Thorough - Check Competitive - Check Communication - Check Honest - Check Quality - Check

I first used Phoenix Energy Solutions back in 2013 when they came and turned a 'must replace your…read morewhole unit (that was then about 9yo)' into a well-explained $600 job. Quote from my original review: ******** "At some point, we will need a bigger unit to accomodate our actual square footage, but for now, the house is cool, comfortable (it runs warmer on the kid's side, but well below the danger point of when we didn't have AC-I used fans and kept the kids in the master suite with me). And when we DO replace our unit-I don't need Yelp-I'll just call Phoenix Energy Systems and you should too! PS-this is the service that made me join Yelp, so I can give Rich and PES 5 stars (and not 10 as others have noted)." *********** Since then, I've been on PES REST plan (their annual maintenance contract for 1 AC and 1 heater/furnace tuneup per year). I don't review routine service calls, but go ahead and imagine about 3 dozen 5 star reviews for keeping my systems running and functional as they met and then exceeded normal life for these units. Well, all good things must come to an end. The AC sealant gave out, flooding my attic and into my master bathroom. After much consideration, I came to realize that it was time to replace the AC, and possibly the equally old and increasingly troublesome heater. So Micah came over and presented several options and discussed which ones were SMUD rebate eligible. I went with the bundled (and SMUD rebate eligible) AC + Heat Pump combo. Micah and his son (already an industry veteran and very capable) arrived bright and early (e.g. right on time) and 10 hours later - old units removed, new units installed. The big surprise was *nothing* - e.g. none of the clunks grinds, whooshes, strained sounds of the old system. Just nice cool air evenly distributed throughout my 3/2 bungalow. The old system kept the master suite at temperature, but ran hot summers and cold winters in the kid's rooms at the other end of the house. Remember folks, true power doesn't roar - it whispers. And of course, thank you Phoenix Energy Solutions for fair pricing and top notch professional HVAC services.
