When we noticed our HVAC Air Handler raining water from it we were naturally concerned. Bradley Mechanical was able to fit us in despite being in the busy season for HVAC. The technician was courteous & knowledgeable. He did a thorough inspection and cleaning and provided us with some recommendations to reduce the humidity in our crawl space. At the close of the appointment he recommended their Maintenance Program & explained the benefits. It was a no-brainier for us, especially not knowing the house or the systems. Moving into the cooler weather we wanted to use the propane fireplace in the living room which appeared to have never been used. We bought our propane tank but had no idea where to start, so we called Bradley. They were able to connect the tank, inspect the gas logs, get it up & running and educate us on operation. Nice to have that functional to take the chill off. Most recently we were contacted for our regular seasonal cleaning/inspection. Bradley Mechanical is easy to book with and were able work around our schedule. The tech was prompt (a little early actually), friendly & got right to work. I like that they respect the property & don booties when entering the house. The report they offer at the end summarizes work performed and leaves nothing in question. As he was boxing his tools I asked if White Glove did any water quality testing and explained a problem I suspect I have on my supply line. He offered to take a sample on the spot that would be sent off to a lab. He quoted me a price and said I could pay in a week when the sample came back. How much more could I ask for? We figured out that our county's website has a record of all of the permitted work done in the county in the last 3.5 months, and you can sort by project. It also lists the sq footage of the project and the cost. We could see that Kefficient had done the most permitted projects in our county and they had a fair and competitive price compared to other companies who got their work permitted. We ended up deciding to work with Kefficient. What a world of difference! They quickly got a permit and did the work and had it inspected and it looks great. What a relief after such a poor experience with a different company!

Turns out there was an electrical issue that wasn't communicating with the thermostat. Brandon's as the tech who came out. Before entering our home he put shoe covers on so not to track in debris. Thankful they have 24/7 service with technicians on call after hours. It was $149 for him to come out and do a diagnostic, and he scheduled for a sales guy to come out the next day to talk numbers about installing a new heat pump and thermostat. An amazing dissapointment…read more Pro: The time frame between my heat pump failure and the install date was short. Con: Shorted out the circuit boards on my air handler and the indoor thermostat. Cost for replacement of those components through Air Excellence was quoted $1,200 parts only. Cost of replacement from another company $325.00 parts and labor for install. Cost of parts from trane directly $175.00 The price gouging and extreme markups were extremely disappointing. This has happened to numerous people (37) since my Nov. install. It's your choice but I will not be contacting them for any work in the future.

Of course my washing machine worked perfectly.
