There is nothing harder than finding a place where you can get something done right. CV Source is one of those increasingly rare places. They have been rebuilding the drive axles on my track cars for over a decade. I cannot source quality CV joints for my BMWs or Porsches, so have them rebuilt and serviced to retain the original quality parts that are now unavailable due to the "race to the bottom" that's occurred with nearly all auto parts, but half-shafts in particular have been destroyed by what were initially inexpensive, low quality Chinese knock-offs that then pushed the quality component manufacturers out of the market (or business, in some cases), and then raised their prices to the more expensive quality price-points! So you can pay or you can pay, but you'll only get a reliable results if you already have a quality component that needs services. Without the specialty services and skills of CV Source, it would become nearly impossible to propel any vehicle with reliable half-shafts over the long term. We needed new axles for our MDX and I was looking for a place that did quality CV rebuilding work because the place I used to use in downtown Atlanta went out of business. I discovered C.V. Source and reached out to the owner Jon through email and he replied quickly. He's a very straight-up guy and professional. He explained how they completely rebuild the CV axles inside and out inside their shop and have been doing it for 30 years and they only deal with OEM parts and that is exactly what I was looking for. Honestly some of these reviews I see on here make zero sense. This is not a body shop, you must remove the CV Axles yourself, and if you can't, have your auto mechanic remove them and then you bring them here to be rebuilt. Really an awesome guy, easy to talk to, and very knowledgeable. Personally, this is the best route to go as your OEM axles are coming from your car, so you know they will fit. I didn't want to use some cheap Cardone Remanufactured CV axles that might not fit, or worse yet, last 3 months and have to replace them all over again. Jon showed me how thin those axles parts are that they used on those cheap after-market cv axles. It is honestly scary. I'd highly recommend C.V. Source. BUYER BEWARE All they care about is $$$$$$ DO NOT TRUST this company they are not honorable and do not stand behind there warranty I am so glad I found out about there dishonesty before I made my next purchase I was trying to warranty out an axle sold with a LIFETIME WARRANTY Was told not the first person he has turned down Typically you sell an axle with lifetime warranty it has a lifetime warranty You don't just change that because it is convient and you decide that because the new warranty for axles is 24 month / 24,000 miles That the old lifetime warranties should not be honored Now I would understand if the replacement axle didn't have a lifetime warranty and I would understand if they say the replacement axle only has a 24mo/24 mile warranty i would not like that but would be ok with it but to be turned down for the lifetime warranty because there new axle warranty has changed and the market vs the chinesse is tough for them is no way by any means an excuse to turn down a lifetime warranty Very Poor Management 2 CV Axles had been purchased by CV Source with a lifetime warranty So There excuse " Cannot compete with the chinesse market" is ridiculous Not even an offer of a discounted rate for a replacement axle or anything More like we got your money you have a problem tough luck I feel bad for the people who try to warranty out there 2 yr axle warranty parts They might say oh no we are 1 yr warranty now Sorry SO BUYER BEWARE read more

This dude is unbelievable.Wouldnt fix my car axle because he said we couldnt assemble ourselves therefore we needed to bring the whole peice which wasnt our issue. To assume we arent as capable as him is just ignorant on his half drove 20 miles for nothing .BEWARE read more
