They were punctual, polite, and very professional throughout the process. They had insurance and charged just under a thousand to take down two crazy tall trees, grinding and mulching one into the ground. The lady boss running the show brought in several guys to help with sawing, hauling, clean up, grinding, and was not about wasting time. There was a lot of chainsaw action, climbing (#1), roping, and precision to ensure no pieces or debris fell into anyone else's yard. The whole ordeal was about 15 hours, split over the course of two days. The end result was so good for one of them, one would never know a large tree was there in the first place. Over the next 2 hours that quote went to $3300, then $2900. I called another company who removed the tree limbs the same day for $400 (yes, that is 90% less than Jesse's initial quote). He kept telling me it would take 6-7 guys to remove the tree debris from the backyard. The guy we wound up hiring had it done himself in an hour and a half. Shame on you, Jesse, for trying to take advantage of a single female in the aftermath of a severe storm that knocked out power to over a million people in this town.
