This is a logical & rational response to Tom J's 2/3/2019 negative review. The reviewer is claiming that children are getting hit on the spine and in the back of the head. C-Quence would never condone any such action regardless of age, but here is where the reviewer got it totally wrong. There are absolutely 100% NO CHILDREN'S MMA CLASSES available at this gym! The owner and head instructor does not believe in children's MMA and there is no sparring of this type amongst children. For the record as of today Tom J has left 11 business reviews; every single one of them is a one-star review and him complaining about the business. So there is a clear pattern here.

My 3 sons go there, 4,7, and 10. They have different classes for different ages. They are very good with kids. My kids have learned a lot and continue learning, John Munoz always keeps them motivated

Awesome learning environment at all levels. John and Claudia have a special way of making everyone feel at home. The rest of the coaches are amazing too! Wether you want to learn jiu jitsu, boxing, mma or just to stay in shape this place will not disappoint.

I never have met such amazing people as with meeting everyone here at CQuence. John Munoz & Claudia Munoz, Johnny Jr. Munoz, Thalia Munoz, Robert & Alan WIlson, Dustin Simth, Nathan Jaskot and the whole Cquence team are truly an inspiration. It wouldn't be CQuence without each and everyone of them (us). My husband, son and I have been training here and all I can say is by far the best experience that we've had. My husband and I lost over 100lbs together and continue to strive for success in all aspects of life. I (wife) alone have lost 70lbs with Claudia's fitness & women's Jiu Jitsu class and my husband has lost 55lbs with doing Jiu Jitsu. My husband is now training for his 3rd tournament bringing home medals for little man. With hard work, determination, patients, and HEART anythings possible. Our son was the youngest peewee that started and we have seen his peewee's class strive and has been the best thing for our son. Whats more better than having our children learn about respect, discipline, structure and self control than to be training Jiu Jitsu with Mrs. Claudia and the CQuence family. If you want a humble family like experience with the best training that you can get than come to CQuence BJJ.

C-Quence Jiu-Jitsu is a very good place to learn jiu-jitsu for the entire family The Munoz family make you feel like you are a part of their family when you are there. Unlike other schools they do no tolerate the "meathead attitude" everyone one there has a very positive attitude and everyone helps each other excel. My daughter has been part of their team for about a year now and absolutely loves it, she has made many new friends and her confidence has gotten so much better, she has also been getting very fit doing it. Seeing her progress in the sport and as a person had me even start training. I highly recommend this location to everyone!!

My son being promoted to his next belt!

This is the best place to train in the area. Hands down. Lots of classes and the instructors are good.

Johnny knows how to keep kids engaged, guide them with compassion, and understands the hurdles they have. I forgot the man's name that lead the wrestling class today, so supportive, genuine, patient and makes children feel respected and giving them a sense of belonging. I can tell the kids that go there have learned companionship and leadership. Lastly, I made a financial mistake, it was handled and refunded so easily.

I also noticed behavior that came across as overly flirtatious toward other women around the gym. I was told anonymously by a friend whose son have trained there for some time now but (is now at another training school) that he is no longer with his wife and currently has a new girlfriend. His personal life is his business and i pray for his new relationship, but creating an environment where women feel uncomfortable is very unprofessional and comes off as a two timing man who uses his position of power to flirt and flatter other woman and does not reflect well on someone in a leadership position. It honestly comes across as inappropriate and disrespectful. As a strong Christian woman raising my son to be a faithful servant with strong values and respect for others, I take character and integrity seriously. I believe a training environment should feel safe, respectful, and professional for families and women attending classes. I expect a man who is leading young men in our community to be a strong faithful man to the woman he is with (wife or new girlfriend) Coach Rey is not a faithful man and i will not allow my son to be around that spirit.
