He emphasizes to the kids the importance of following rules, whether you like them or not, because structure and discipline create order in the world. Training BJJ has helped my kids grow not only as a martial artist, puts them back and humbles them. - Also plenty of mat time for the kids, in every group age and levels. In the almost ten years we have been customers of USKO, we have never experienced anything like what was mentioned in some of the overly negative Yelp reviews of their Corona dojo. We know a lot of the other parents at both dojos and we have never heard of anything like what those reviews have stated. In all honesty, in my opinion, those reviews are unfair. I trained in this art for over 20 years. I exceeded my own expectations under Headmaster's training. His blackbelt classes were unbelievable.... the techniques were very advanced. Made promoting well worth the time and effort. Headmaster is a kind but firm teacher. I was doing a one on one class with him once and questioned a technique that was part of a form I was learning. It seemed a little weak to me, and I made the mistake of asking him how this technique could possibly work in a real fight. The next thing I knew, I was flat on my back....from the technique I had just asked him about. He is a strong, stocky man, but lightening quick. I happened to be in Norco a few years back just after the pandemic and I stopped by the studio. It still had the sign up, but was completely gutted inside. Broke my heart. He meant so much to his students. The ultimate example of humility, power, and martial arts skill. The perfect teacher. He would even require the young students to bring in their report cards. If they weren't doing well in school, he would tell them to improve their grades, or he wouldn't let them train. Grandmaster Tiger Yangs school in Fullerton closed down a few years ago also. It's now a Jiu Jitsu school. When I think of all the good times, good people, and good training my family and I received over the years, it makes me a little sad that it's all gone.

They have shown my girls so much patience, understanding, kindness, and compassion. Knowing that my daughters were safe, loved, and genuinely cared for gave me such peace of mind as a mom. They never made us feel different or like our children were a burden. Instead, they took the time to understand them, celebrate their differences, and help them feel comfortable and included.
