The opportunity to train under two Tae Kwon Do Grand Masters has been truly life-changing. I strongly encourage anyone seeking personal growth and self-improvement to consider Champion Tae Kwon Do.

There is something special about learning from someone who truly understands what you are feeling and what you are going through as a Taekwondo athlete as he once was himself. Kids adore him because he knows how to bring out the very best in every student, regardless of skill level. Parents appreciate his dedication, and there is no better place to introduce your child to the values and discipline of martial arts. My son has had the privilege of training under Master Andre since he was seven years old. The foundation, discipline, and lessons that Master Andre instilled in him continue to guide him today as an active Taekwondo competitor. We are incredibly grateful for the positive impact he has had on our child's growth, both as an athlete and as a person

The instructors really know how to teach the student and motivate them to do their best. My girls look forward to their classes and seldom if ever want to not go. I've personally observed these instructors give their full attention even if its only one child attending class. The classes always start on time and end on time and the studio is always kept clean and very professionally operated. The flooring is sanitized each night, and the equipment is always available and in good working order, I just wish all business in Jurupa Valley were operating with these high standards.

My daughter is a student of Gracie…read moreJiu Jitsu and so I thought it only right that she learned some type of strike defense to go with her ground game. Just so she doesn't have to dirty her skirt if she doesn't have to. Lol... anyway I've lived in Rubidoux for many years and have always passed by Aguila's TKD so I thought I'd give it a try. I enrolled my daughter right away because the pricing is very affordable. After having done the math it comes out to about $6 per class (less if you attend Saturdays) so I thought where are you going to find a self defense class for this price? So she started and right away I could tell that master Aguila is the coach she needs. Discipline. Hard nose training. No softies. I knew that this is what my daughter needed. The pre-workouts are vigorous and definitely the type of conditioning that would help her in her Brazilian Jiu Jitsu training. So, second day in and she knows that this will help her and she loves it... just not quite as much as GBBJJ. I rated this a 5 star because everything starts off as a 5 starting me. If my ideas change. I'll be back to alter that. On the other hand, for me, it's nice to see one of the cute training girls there with her curly hair and dimples. Lol... it's refreshing. Lol

The name "Family TKD" suits them perfectly, all the kids feel so comfortable here that they often have siblings (all the children in a "family") attend at the same time. Also, Master Amber and the other instructors/staff treat everyone like family. It's a warm, caring, and welcoming environment (that's why we continued to return 3 days a week for more than 5 years)! Cost: 5 stars. My children's piano classes cost more than this! Lol. My kids attended to their teenage years and they enjoyed learning self-defense, gained a lot of confidence, and most of all, they always had fun and got good exercise. Master Amber was very flexible and accommodating (my kids attended many classes during the week for the same overall price). I appreciated that each child was challenged yet respect and safety was always at the forefront of everything. Also, they often had free games and treats with their annual Halloween, Christmas, or other events. There were so many families who attended for so many years, I'm surprised there are not more recent reviews. They had complimentary classes to try them out. Parking: Free. Plenty. (Also, was able to pick up dinner from Little Ceasars, the Vietnamese, Mexican, or Indian restaurants next door!)
