The basic like linens and towels were clean, but it seemed like the house had not had a deep cleaning in a long time. Seating cushions were stained and when I lifted them up, there was bits of food underneath from some previous guest. The bathroom in the room I stayed in had some issues where some fixtures were misinstalled or needed service and sprayed were you don't want them spraying. And the A/C in the master bath was broken when I arrived. There was a note saying they were aware it was broken, but no one came by to fix it during my stay. The fan in the room was not adequate to cool the room in the afternoon. And the type of breakage of the A/C (apparently it leaked water) suggests it was not regularly maintained (eg the condensate drainage lines were not maintained and clogged). I will say on the positive side, the house had a beefy EV charger, which was super handy. EDIT: Msg to Haustay - I stayed as a guest on someone else's reservation. Airbnb knew about it (I have the emails). No idea why you don't.

I had vacation renters that when they checked out they would make sure to leave a deposit for the next year, same time. After selling my homes I became a vacation renter through them. Dorothy Pinney made sure that my rental was clean and checked in with me to see if I was enjoying the accommodations. If you are looking for a management team to manage your rental or a renter looking for accommodations, this company gives you 5 star treatment and really takes care of their customers. In the first 5 years or so, they were good at adjusting the rent amount and then stopped. I recently found out that I am 1k under the monthly market value rent of my unit. The house was clean and comfortable. There were plenty of beach and bath towels. The house was in a good location within walking distance of a grocery store and several restaurants (not fast food or chain restaurants). The neighborhood was lively during the day, and surprisingly peaceful each evening. It was also not far from the kids' favorite Mission Beach. There were plenty of paper supplies, cookware, and dishes. We gave the awesome Speed Queen washer a good workout. (I want one!) Though the house was expensive, the cost for the week was relatively reasonably considering its size and location. I would not hesitate to stay there again. I also appreciate Michael at La Jolla Vacation Rentals for working with me and patiently answering all of my questions. If we return to San Diego in the future, I will without question look for a house with La Jolla Vacation Rentals.
