The wifi didn't work (and I had to ask for the password), the TV didn't work, outlets for the lamps didn't work, the corkscrew was broken, and then we woke up to construction on the other half of the duplex. All day they were working on the house with a ladder actually on the balcony of the unit we were in. The driveway was full of equipment (which we noticed upon evening arrival), and the noise persisted all day. Marbella Lane claimed to not know about the construction, although the driveway is full of materials, and the work is taking place on the other half of the house we were in. Honestly, how could you manage a home and not know? With each occurrence, I reached out to Marbella Lane, was asked to send pictures and fully explain the situation, and the most they eventually did was offer a token gift card at a local coffee shop for our troubles, which I declined. Their solutions either didn't work (I eventually figured out how to reconfigure the wifi and tv), or were slow to arrive (corkscrew delivered the next day through amazon), or they just didn't have a solution (because who could know about construction in California with all of the required permits?). It is obvious that they don't have anyone available locally, they didn't know many details about the rental at 1987 Beach Blvd in Pacifica CA and all issues are managed through email. I will not use their services again, regardless of how nice the house looks.

I even called Passport Health before my appointment to ask about their pricing practices and was assured everything was standard. At my appointment, I was charged $1013 for an office visit, Typhoid, Polio, and two doses of Hepatitis A. Anthem only reimbursed $336.78, stating that was the fair market rate for these vaccines and that Passport Health severely overcharged. I called Anthem and they said that $336.78 is the "reasonable expected cost" of the vaccines that I received and that the clinic was severely overcharging for those vaccines. When I called Passport Health to address the $600+ discrepancy, they refused to explain the markup and offered no guarantee of a resolution for my refund request. Patients trust medical providers to operate with transparency, but instead, I was left $676.22 out of pocket for routine vaccines. Overall, I feel a little taken advantage of financially. I feel this is important to communicate to anyone considering using Passport Health.
