C.K. Mercedes was recommended by a friend of mine, who is a retired mechanic himself. I am so glad that my friend referred me to Pidge at C.K. Mercedes. I have a 2001 Mercedes SLK 230 that I'm tuning up for my mom. I had a couple of issues with the engine light that were diagnosed by Pidge at C.K. Mercedes. Pidge told me gave me some easy fixes if the engine light and radiator light goes on. In addition, I had Pidge perform a tune-up that kept the SLK running well. Although I live in the San Gabriel Valley, I do pass many other Mercedes repair shops to get to C.K. Mercedes in Covina. Here are the reasons in order of importance: 1. HONESTY: Pidge is straight forward and tells me what needs to be done. He doesn't try to sell me something I don't need and let's his quality of work speak for him. 2. EXPERIENCE: Pidge has been working on Mercedes vehicles since the 1990's. He has a wealth of knowledge and has no problem explaining issues with my car and what I can do to maximize driving enjoyment. 3. COST: The cost for tune-ups and repairs are very reasonable. Pidge doesn't gouge you. Enough said. I've been to places where mechanics and repair shop owners try to take advantage of you to make an extra buck and compromise their integrity. If you are looking for an honest and experienced Mercedes repair shop where you can establish a honest professional relationship, come to CK Mercedes. You won't be disappointed. read more

I have been taking my MERCEDES here for three years. This establishment is very honest they will not overcharge you. I highly recommend this place. You won't be disappointed. It's so hard to find honest mechanics. read more

Their service is always honest, and they work with you, ensuring flawless communication. Thank you, and highly recommended.

I've been bringing in my car for or service since 2017. PIGE is trustworthy and very reasonable..I prefer Ck Mercedes estimates vs. the Dealer estimates read more

I've been using CK Mercedes for several years now and the only issue I have with them is they don't have loaner cars like the EXPENSIVE dealers. Pidge has taken great care of me and my ML and wouldn't even consider taking my car anywhere else. I needed a new motor for ML last year and C.K. did it for less than a third of what the dealer wanted. read more

Great work! Pidge is always right about what he told me. I have been his customer since 2007. Pidge and his team always performed excellent repair for my car. Appreciate them much. God bless them! read more

Honest & Knowledgeable Mercedes Benz Repair Shop Our 2012 MB E350 had a "Check Engine" light on. I took the MB to a couple of repair shops to determine the problem. It turns out that it was a Cam Shaft error code. I called a friend and he recommended CK Angel Shop in Covina. I called Pidge and he said he had seen that code before and asked me to bring the car for an estimate. He was honest and friendly. He texted me the estimate and said he would request the parts needed and could start only after all the repair parts were available. He contacted me and started the work. A day later, he called and said if I could stop by the shop. The next day he showed me what was causing the problem. The cam shaft was replaced and I asked if he could check the other half of the engine. He informed me that the passenger side was okay. A couple of days later he called and said the car was ready. The total price was less than he quoted because he said some parts did not need to be replaced. I trust CK Angel and I would recommend this shop for any MB engine repair. read more

Superb service! Pidge is extremely knowledgeable and will definitely steer you in the right direction. Quality of all work performed is outstanding. My brother has been taking his vehicles to Pidge for service for nearly 20 years and such a referral has been quite an invaluable asset to say the least. With great family-like service and a straightforward mechanic, you can't ask for much more. read more

If your looking for a good, honest, reliable auto mechanic for your MB, then Pidge at CK Angel Mercedes is the place to go... He serviced my ML320 for a couple of years: - Front and rear brake job ($225): I brought in my own aftermarket Akibono pads and oem Zimmermann rotors and dropped them in for me; told me I didn't need to replace the front rotors yet cause they still had 1.5mm left so I returned the front rotors and saved $120 bucks... - Replaced the rear trunk actuator which wouldn't lock ($250)... - Replaced the steering lock and ignition tumbler because the car would not start and/or doors would not lock/unlock; security mechanism on the steering column was worn due to constant use required going to MBZ with VIN number to match electronic key fob. Show me how to get around security lockout so I could start the car and get around while we waited for the part to arrive... - Replaced front and rear wiper blade assemblies (N/C): I brought in the Bosch parts myself, he dropped them in in 10 minutes, didn't charge me for his time... - Replaced rear trunk lid struts (N/C): I ordered the parts online myself and asked him to drop them in for me. Took him 5 minutes, didn't charge me for his time... - Car was approaching 300K miles, burning oil approx. 1 qt every 2-3 weeks. EGR went out, would cost about $1200 to fix. Told me not to fix it but let him swap in a lower mileage rebuilt engine. Would probably cost close to $5k but the advantage would be that I would be set for another 100-200k miles and would take care of EGR problem, oil burning, better compression, etc... - Hooked me up with his transmission guy for my other car (bimmer) and saved me at least $1000 from what I was quoted from my BMW mechanic!... I wound up getting rid of the car eventually before I swapped the engine out, but if I had kept the car, Pidge would have my every confidence. I have no problem recommending CK Angel Mercedes to anyone who is looking for a good independent MB auto mechanic... read more

This is an overdue review post. However, my Filipino brethren and their team at CK Angel Auto Repair are truly honest and a business of integrity. I brought in my ailing Benz of a grandpa, and they showed me exactly what was wrong with it. They even let me purchase parts through my wife who works for a car parts warehouse, for them to work with. They also told me which brands were of best quality, and not the cheaper China brands that wouldn't last long, and they even drove me home as they worked on my car overnight. They were quite busy, but that does come with the 5-star territory. All in all, if your Benz needs something done to it, don't hesitate to let the team at CK take a look at it. They're an honest, reliable and dependable company. read more

Since I moved down to Los Angeles, CK Angel Auto Repair has been my go to place to service my C320. Pidge and the staff are Mercedes specialists who professional, trustworthy, and honest. Having a mechanic you can trust gives you peace of mind that you won't get ripped off, save you money, and maximize the life/value of your car. They give you the best quotes available compared to the dealers or other Mercedes auto repair shops. Over the past two years, I have routinely taken in my car for service A, service B, and other issues (air conditioning and brakes). CK Angel's experience allows them to quickly diagnose problems and anticipate things that typically go wrong with each year and model. They can foresee and recommend potential repairs that do not have to be done now, but should be done in the near future to ensure your car is running smoothly. Your may be wondering why there are so few reviews on yelp, however, I can assure you that CK Angel builds their business through their reputation and customer referrals. If you need to service your Mercedes, I can guarantee you that you won't be disappointed! read more

Pidge, Romel, and the gang at CK Angel are the best mechanics in town. Honest, prices are excellent.....these guys will never do anything but what's right for you and your car. Been going here for like 10 years....they've diagnosed issues others couldn't figure out. For example, made the mistake of taking my car to the dealer for a small oil leak (was trying to get it covered under warranty), they rooked me for $1000 and didn't fix the problem (in fact, they broke the part it cost me $1000 to fix)! Dealer had the car for 7 days and couldn't fix it. Pidge, the "mercedes whisperer" figured out the problem within 5 minutes. That's the difference between experienced techs! These guys are the best! Love this shop. They always take care of my mercedes cars really good. Best customer service.

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE!! This place is amazing. They are the nicest guys ever, super HONEST, VERY reasonable prices..they are the place to go to for any Benz need. LOVE 'EM :-D read more

Fucking horrible ! Crazy unprofessional attitude came back with my car super hot and car does not start then blames ME THE DAMN CUSTOMER and demands me to either void the money I payed him or put the old stuff back on my car at the end of the day this shop wants to destroy your car for you to look stupid and to come back after all the insult this mechanic said to my face after he called out on his horrible job he left all my shit unplugged broken parts because of him having an attitude taking my car apart NEVER EVER CONSIDER YOURSELF SMART BY GOING HERE. read more

I took my 2010 E350 to this shop after getting warning signs from the dashboard that ABS & ESC are not functioning. It turned out that rats have damaged some of the wiring in the engine. CK technicians performed the repairs at very reasonable price and recommended measures to prevent the problem from re-occurring. read more

BEWARE!! They try to rip me off when my Mercedes needed a suspension check. I took it to the dealer and the Mercedes dealer quoted me $2,000 to repair my car. This place charged me $150 just to look at my vehicle. When I asked for the diagnosis report they did not have one so I waited until they typed it out there in front of me. Also they quoted me $4,000 double what the dealer quoted me. So I think twice before coming here. STAY AWAY read more

The best!!! Trustworthy, best value and quick! I have been coming here for over 14 years!! Love you guys. Thank you

Horrible service and experience. Don't waste your time here. I came for an oil change and they wanted to charge me more than the dealership. My car is new and they used that's as an excused. Nice try but this place sucks I took my car elsewhere where I only paid 90 bucks for an oil change not $150 like this place quoted. read more

If your looking for a shop in Covina were they do great work and not trying to get rich repairing your car ...Then I recomend this shop. They will actually do the work.... not like the other Mercedes shops on San Bernardino rd. in covina. As a Mercedes owner s500 & sl500 it took me a long time to find a shop honest about the actual repairs needed on my vehicle with fair prices. This M.B. Shop is a keeper . Give them a try, I think you will find what you've been looking for. read more

This place sucked... Never felt inclined to write a bad review before, but today I feel it's my responsibility as a human being to warn everyone else about these sharks. Took my car there because the check engine light was on, and I needed fix whatever was causing it so I could pass smog. This dude calls me after "diagnosing it", and mumbles some nonsense about it being an engine timing issue.. Fine. Then this snake proceeds to explain that in order to fix it, he needs to go into the engine... But while he's in there, he "might as well" rebuild the entire thing for the low, low price of $4000... Really, clown? That's your solution, rebuild my entire engine because of a timing issue? Wait there's more... After pressing him further, he magnanimously offers to replace my old engine with a used one for an even lower price price of $2500... Thanks, but no thanks, dude. Unfortunately, I then asked if there were any more options available to me... "Sure" he says... I can replace it with a new engine for $5000, or I can buy your car for $2000, and you can just walk away from it. Hahaha.. This still makes me chuckle.. Remember, I was just trying to pass smog... They have diagnostic machines that point them to the specific cause of the check engine light.. All this dude had to do was fix whatever those fault codes were saying was wrong. Basically, he was either trying to rob me, or didn't know what the heck he was doing...Either way... 1 star review... Get sad, CK auto. Anyway, after telling him to KMA... I ended up taking it to another mechanic... An honest one. The new mechanic fixed everything for $600 bucks... Turns out it WASN'T a timing issue, and the entire engine DIDN'T need to be replaced (shocker, right?). The problem was simply a magnet on the camshaft that was malfunctioning, and there was hole in a hose someplace.. Smog check passed Morale of the story: Beware of shady mechanics that offer to buy your car even tho it "needs a new engine"... Have a nice day, yelpers! read more

Wish there was an option for negative stars because I just got robbed. All these 5 stars reviewers are most likely friends and families. First visit they try to seem friendly and say it's fix when they only just reseted the check engine light. Came back to mention this, and they were extremely rude when it got a little bit busier. Found another place that offered better service and saved some money what I have lost. read more

I recently came in because I have the airmatic suspension. It is so wonderful to be able to push a button, and adjust your suspension settings in an instant. So of course if something like this breaks, it's gonna cost some major dough to fix.. right? Well the stealership started at $2400 and goes up from there, to replace the shock, much more if the compressor is ruined. Luckily, we replaced the shock before the compressor ran and burned out, saving another 2k or so. So what was my total price? $1100 out the door - WOOOW!!!!!!! I'm telling you - any benz problem you come see Rommel, here at CK Angel Mercedes. He's got the right equipment (dealer computer for mercedes) and also the right people (former mercedes dealership mechanics and supervisor mechanics) and the best part? I thought this was going to take atleast 1 day - nope they were done by noon. - WOOOW!!!!! read more

Love this shop!!! Honest and reasonable. I highly recommend this place. Pidge you're the MAN !

I recently towed my 2002 C320 to CK Angel after not being able to fix it myself :( They diagnosed the issue as a failed fuel pump and replaced it along with replacing the fuel pump seal. Pump $315 Seal $15.50 Labor $90 Plus they wrote down everything that the car needed after giving it an inspection. This alone would have cost me $300 at House of Imports Buena Park. Very happy with the service I received from CK Angel Auto Repair. I intend on taking old faithful back to them for some A/C TLC, Tie Rod Bushing, and maybe replace the Engine and Tranny mounts since they must be rock hard after 11 years. I'm happy to have my car back and will definitely visit the shop again! Thanks Guys! read more

My whole life I have been leary of mechanics and even after reading good things and was referred by a co-worker, I was still skeptical. Well, Pidge proved me wrong and I had an incredible experience. If you own a Mercedes and skeptical with Shady mechanics and dealership prices? You definitely need to bring your vehicle here to Angel's, my parents have owned Benz since late 70's early 80's and have been getting their services done here and now i am also a satisfied consumer. I have even tried calling around getting price quotes from other highly Yelp rated establishments and surprisingly its was more or less $60 less here every time :) read more

Had over 1k worth of work done to my e300 with ck mercedes. With someone who spent as much as I did, i was hoping to find honest and work that would facilitate future business. To date I already spent over 3k in restoring my car with a specialist who was much cheaper. Also I had them repair my power seat which they charged me $400 for. they said they couldn't find the part and should have left it at that but greed had then finding and installing the wrong part as discovered my the person who now works on my car. Because the seat was not fully functional they wanted me to come back and replace the track which had no problems and would have probably cost me an arm.
