From the first meeting, he was on time, focused, and genuinely cared about finding the best solution for us. What really impressed us was that he never acted like a salesperson -- no pressure, no upselling, just honest advice and real expertise. Another thing that stood out is that Hektor was hands-on throughout the entire project. He did the work himself with the help of his team, but he was clearly the one leading and making sure every detail was done right. He even came back to go over details in person and worked with us so we could pay for materials with our credit card, which made things so much easier to manage. Even when Phoenix had an unusual week of rain, he stayed in touch to make sure our materials were safe. Once the weather cleared, he showed up right on time, suggested raising the patio height (which turned out to be the best decision ever), and coordinated the stucco work so everything looked seamless. The patio turned out beautiful, and he followed up afterward to make sure we were completely happy. If every contractor worked like Hektor -- professional, reliable, hands-on, and truly caring -- home projects would be stress-free. We couldn't recommend him more!

My wife loves the closet they converted into a reading nook. We always felt comfortable with the crew in our house. They worked around our schedule and Eric was always available for a quick check-in so I knew where we were with each step. The kitchen required removing a wall to open up the closed dark kitchen and adding an oversized bar. Eric was extremely timely and professional in getting us a comprehensive quote. He was also extremely affordable as well. He started work right away and did a phenomenal job. We gave him pictures of what we wanted for the kitchen and fireplace, and he replicated the style to a T - which most contractors can't do without a designer helping them. He also was able to design and order custom cabinets for our pantry. Eric was extremely detail oriented throughout the process, checking in with us as needed for style and safety decisions, and always updated us on cost or possible delays. He also was insanely knowledgable about every area of construction such as dry wall, plumbing, electrical, fabrication, flooring, tiling, etc. This guy really is a one man show - he can do it all. Eric did have a few subcontractors help him with the job and they were always fantastic to work with as well. He knows quality workmanship and partnership. He finished the job in a timely timeframe and our home is gorgeous and the workmanship is quality - for a great price. If you need any renovations done, Eric with E.L. Construction is the way to go. Not only are they terrible at communicating with the customer, they do not set up proper dust…read morebarriers when sanding, and will damage your furniture. We are renting this house. The owner contracted to have the kitchen and master bathroom cabinets sanded and stained. 1. We were told the kitchen cabinets did not need to be emptied. 2. This will only take 4 days. 3. We tried to contact the contractor to inform them we wouldn't be available until 930am day one. No call back, and they showed up at 8am day one. End of day one I come home to find the kitchen cabinets, stove, microwave, and refrigerator masked off. Our kitchen table, and my grandmothers antique hutch are not covered. The cabinet doors are stacked against my grandmothers antique hutch. There is no dust barrier between the kitchen and the rest of the house. I contact the management company to complain specifically about the dust barrier and not covering the kitchen table and hutch. Day two the management company responds that they are contacting the contractor and will let us know what they hear back. About 1130am day two, a dust barrier goes up, the kitchen table, and hutch get covered. The contractor had already finished sanding in the kitchen and started the staining at this point in the day. The chemical smell from the stain is very strong. So strong that we opened every available door and turned on all fans to help clear the air. It is the end of December the week between Christmas and New years. current high is 57 with rain, and the low was already in the 40's. Day three the SO comes home after a doctors appointment to find the contractor working in the master bathroom. A dust barrier has been set up between the master bathroom and master bedroom. In this house there is no door between the two, only a small hallway and access to the master closet. This dust barrier does indeed block off the master bedroom, but was open to the open door'd master closet. Such great care was taken to set up dust barrier that funneled the sanding dust directly into our closet of clean cloths. I come home end of day three to a house that is so smelly with chemicals that we again opened all doors, and got out extra fans to try to clear the air before bedtime. This is when I find the pictured damage to my Grandmother antique hutch. I reached out to the management company again concerning the damage to the hutch. Day four is today as I write this review. Today the clear coat goes on, and apparently it is even smellier than the stain. We were told the contractor will have to return for a day five to finish the work being done. What you can expect: Bad communications. Poor workmanship in covering and protecting the customers possessions. Damage to your possessions. Finally, complete lack of care to a simple detail like putting up a dust barrier between an area being sanded and the rest of the living space.
