Evidently with the pandemic, COVID vaccination requirements are checked right at the door and masks are mandatory everywhere you go, except when you are sitting down and eating at the table. I like the open bar layout in the room I was in - it had a variety of drinks available and I love how it opens up to the grand lobby that's right beside it. This is perfect for weddings - doing some sort of mini photo booth; or birthday parties, where you can just hang around, mingle and see different table set ups. Inside the hall can probably host up to 15 tables or so. Great sound system, dance floor and high ceilings. I also like how they have spaced out the tablets are appropriate as possible to ensure social distancing. All the staff were also very accommodating and making sure each guests are served. It's tough nowadays with the pandemic to host large venues, but I'm glad Mississauga Grand was able to make everything easy to follow!

I came out here a couple days ago for a press conference and was once again impressed by the experience. The decor is clean and well-maintained, and there were a horde of servers on-hand after the event to dole out hors d'oeurves, including bruschetta, egg rolls, skewers with beef, cheese and peppers (so good) and more. The staff were all very helpful and directed people where they needed to go, and the conference went off without a hitch. Definitely a great place in the village if you're looking to host an event. With all the vendors I had to deal with, it was so refreshing to get to work with someone who is calm, caring and really tries their best to ensure you have a great day. We went with Pe Se Catering for the food, they were fabulous, I keep hearing how amazing the food was. We did 3 food stations laid out throughout the venue. It worked well. Also had passed hors d'oeuvres which was nice as the venue is so beautiful and people could just spread-out and the appetizers came to them. We bought our own DJ and the sound system was perfect, our DJ was so impressed with the sound system, he still claims it is the best he has ever spun at and he spins all over Toronto, Ottawa and Montreal.
