He offered a very fair quote and that was what was charged. However, on the day/time of the move (which I booked weeks in advance), I was informed that his partner was still an hour away in Salina and I was told that either the owner would move my stuff by himself (incredibly dangerous) or that I would have to wait 3 hours until the other dude was done. As I was on a tight schedule since moving cross country, I told him to just head my way. Fortunately, he was able to contact a buddy in the area to help him out. Unfortunately, he was still an hour and a half late. However, once both arrived, they were efficient, nice, and did the job well. I paid in full (happily despite the earlier issues) because I understood that sometimes things happen and wires get crossed - that's life. That understanding and patience was not rewarded. Despite telling me before he left that he would have a receipt of services rendered within two days so I can be reimbursed by my employer, I have not heard from the owner. It's now been four weeks and I have yet to receive my receipt so I am out for the cost of the move. I have called and sent text messages, no response. I would recommend going with a mover who is more established, organized, and actually sees through his commitments. To do this to someone in the current economic climate we're in is pretty messed up to be honest, especially with the issues during the move itself.

I called 2 places before I realized a former classmate had just posted his new moving business on Facebook, so I reached out to him. I am glad that I did, Curt and his helper provided me with amazing service! They made sure everything was wrapped and secured properly. He has great communication and sends out confirmation texts for delivery and arrival times. If you are looking for convenient, affordable, and professional moving services, then he is your guy! They showed…read moreup 3 hours late (2 hours unaccounted for and 1 hour from failure to plan accordingly for an on-post move/ military). I had everything broken down and pre-packed and consolidated into easy to access rooms. One of the 2 movers quit after the first 3 hrs. which severely slowed the process down. I have 3 school aged children and a dog I needed to tend to and my spouse was deployed. The move took 10 hours to move me 15 minutes away. Myself and my younger two sons had to help the last 5 hours. Due to the late arrival and 1 man working a move that should have started at 10am and been finished NLT 6pm went until midnight. I was unable to pick up my children from school, feed them, or my dog or get anything settled for us to sleep on that night and the temperatures were freezing. Which is why the move was scheduled early; to prevent from moving after sundown. Temperatures were difficult for the movers as well. When it was over though I was offered "half off the last four hours" it did not account for the fact that move should not have taken as long as it did. Two items were broken and neither were paid for and only 1 was acknowledged. The other 1 was discovered in my garage the next morning. I emailed the business and asked to handle this quietly and come to an agreement. I understand it is a small business and likely needed the money. However, not even an apology was extended. I was moved in January of 2026. I have waited 6 months before deciding to post this review. The company should know when not to take a client. This should have been turned away from the beginning as the company could not handle this move professionally and efficiently.

The good stuff: very accessible and helpful to deal with on the phone. I was kept up-to-date on…read morethe front end of my move and U-Pack did what it said it would do. That made my life a lot easier. Not-so-good stuff: there was a significant failure to communicate between U-Pack and the staffing company (which they selected) in my new location in terms of where the trailer would be for unloading. That created more headaches for me and meant that I had to cancel my existing contract with the staffing company and work directly with the local folks.

It gave me time to load, I didn't have to worry about driving a big truck all by myself, which I have no idea how to do, and I had time to unload without having to be in a hurry. The three day window before and after is awesome. Both drivers I met and talked to were very kind and helpful. The only issue I had was with the communication between the dispatch and the actual truck drivers about my truck delivery and pick up times and payment. All the men I spoke with were very nice but the one lady I spoke to was not very nice or patient. The U-pack price was very affordable also. I would recommend U-Pack and I will use them again in the future. Thanks guys.
