Unloading was harder due to a 4th floor apartment and an average sized elevator, but they got everything in and we could not have appreciated them enough. Very personable guys and oh so kind. We were moving my parents, so I don't live in Wichita/El Dorado, but if I did I would use them again. We got scammed by another mover the last time we used movers so thanks guys for such a positive experience,

The guys were nice, although they smelled of cigarettes and one of them thought it was ok to bring his pack into my home and just lay it on the floor. I'm pregnant by the way. If I wanted my stuff packed with such disregard I would've let my 2 kids who are under the age of 10 do it. I asked them to put certain glasses I had in their original boxes and then package them in their boxes, the guy John Kirkpatrick, didn't do that, instead he just threw the boxes empty, into other boxes. I also told him that if I forgot to pull out any liquids in my kitchen, to just leave them in the cabinets. He instead packaged them and some of them exploded or opened up and spilled everywhere. I had spices that completely spilled out, because apparently to him, placing thin paper at the bottom and top of a box is enough packaging. Not to mention, he packed papers and a calendar in with those liquid items that exploded. Where's the logic in that? Things were so randomly thrown into boxes that one of them I opened up had knives sticking straight up and every which way in the box. Nothing was individually wrapped. They also damaged my nightstands, and tv stand. One of my big kitchen knives is missing, and the remote to my Roku. They also ruined the packaging to a porcelain doll my father gave me as a gift by packing it in the box and shoving other heavy items onto it. There was absolutely no care taken in how they packed our items. I don't recommend them or Atlas. This was the worse moving experience, and it wasn't my first done "professionally."

That made my life a lot easier. Not-so-good stuff: there was a significant failure to communicate between U-Pack and the staffing company (which they selected) in my new location in terms of where the trailer would be for unloading. That created more headaches for me and meant that I had to cancel my existing contract with the staffing company and work directly with the local folks.

It gave me time to load, I didn't have to worry about driving a big truck all by myself, which I have no idea how to do, and I had time to unload without having to be in a hurry. The three day window before and after is awesome. Both drivers I met and talked to were very kind and helpful. The only issue I had was with the communication between the dispatch and the actual truck drivers about my truck delivery and pick up times and payment. All the men I spoke with were very nice but the one lady I spoke to was not very nice or patient. The U-pack price was very affordable also. My experience with this business was incredibly hit or miss. He offered a very fair quote and that was what was charged. However, on the day/time of the move (which I booked weeks in advance), I was informed that his partner was still an hour away in Salina and I was told that either the owner would move my stuff by himself (incredibly dangerous) or that I would have to wait 3 hours until the other dude was done. As I was on a tight schedule since moving cross country, I told him to just head my way. Fortunately, he was able to contact a buddy in the area to help him out. Unfortunately, he was still an hour and a half late. However, once both arrived, they were efficient, nice, and did the job well. I paid in full (happily despite the earlier issues) because I understood that sometimes things happen and wires get crossed - that's life. That understanding and patience was not rewarded. Despite telling me before he left that he would have a receipt of services rendered within two days so I can be reimbursed by my employer, I have not heard from the owner. It's now been four weeks and I have yet to receive my receipt so I am out for the cost of the move. I have called and sent text messages, no response. I would recommend going with a mover who is more established, organized, and actually sees through his commitments. To do this to someone in the current economic climate we're in is pretty messed up to be honest, especially with the issues during the move itself.

We contracted with them and they loaded on the date specified. My phone with a credit card went missing and was located in the cab of the semi. They were supposed to deliver the furniture on the 17th of June. Their contract gave them a ten day spread. When the 26th rolls by and after several calls to them with promises they would get back to me and I would have to initiate the call, I was told it would be July 2. Then when that didn't happen I was told July 6 and now after contacting them I'm told no earlier than the 15th. I don't believe it'll happen on that date either as they can't guarantee it. The belongings are of two people in their 80's. When discussing compensation for this horrendous delay I was told to buy an air mattress for them and they would compensate 50% of it. Really??? You've got to be kidding me. Their contract is full of outlandish charges if you don't full fill their terms but nothing is stated if they don't fulfill theirs. My parents will have been without their belongings for a month IF they deliver as stated now. Unfortunately I don't trust them nor believe them. Most likely legal action will need to be taken just to get their stuff This is not right and no company shout e allowed to prey on their customers like this
