While going to my storage unit a Mighty Movers crew was there and very unprofessional!!! They were…read morein front of my storage unit...not a problem and figured he would take 5 seconds to move a small box with plastic hangers in it to the side for a second but instead I was told to wait a minute while he went and grabbed a couch to put in the unit he was putting items into! I figured no problem I will scoot the box about a foot over so I can unlock my unit and when I did he loudly said..."Or not...and told me how I was being rough with her items! Then he kept running his mouth and I told him I guess I will see you in KDOC someday since you obviously are unprofessional and rude yourself! Him and the other two workers were then laughing at me about the whole situation while "their" customer witnessed their behavior! When I went outside I took a picture of their moving truck with phone numbers and truck number! While doing this the younger kid of the 3 walked out and I asked if the other workers name really was Tyler and he said No.. I then asked him what it was and he said he didn't know! I said you're working with them all day and you don't know their names? He said nope I'm a minor and he told me I was awfully old to be acting the way I was... just yet another professional behavior! Would NOT recommend if that's how their employees are allowed to be! I've called the company with no phone call back as of yet! Update: I have talked to a lady at Mighty Movers and she said she didn't know what went wrong but that the customer said I was throwing her boxes everywhere and that the kids were professional... so with that which is very untrue because I was about 5 feet from the lady and verified with her at the time that I simply pushed a box of hangers a few inches to unlock my unit and she agreed! As for Mighty Movers, it appears they just take their employees word for it and don't care what the general public views are about their unprofessionalism! Another Update: As you can see by the owners response they are not holding their employees actions accountable! My review will stay posted as is and it is also how they probably have a high rating because they treated those voicing the truth with threats of legal action! In addition I have phone records showing I called a Tommy back twice yesterday and never received a phone call until I could reach out this morning!

I tried to tell the mover I had my house professionally cleaned once a month and exterminated every other month but they still cancelled. Now that I sent the certification saying there were no signs of bed bugs, and never were signs, the only bug I have are the crickets coming from the office when I asked for my deposit back. Do not hire this company. They don't know what they are doing.

The guys were nice, although they smelled of cigarettes and one of them thought it was ok to bring his pack into my home and just lay it on the floor. I'm pregnant by the way. If I wanted my stuff packed with such disregard I would've let my 2 kids who are under the age of 10 do it. I asked them to put certain glasses I had in their original boxes and then package them in their boxes, the guy John Kirkpatrick, didn't do that, instead he just threw the boxes empty, into other boxes. I also told him that if I forgot to pull out any liquids in my kitchen, to just leave them in the cabinets. He instead packaged them and some of them exploded or opened up and spilled everywhere. I had spices that completely spilled out, because apparently to him, placing thin paper at the bottom and top of a box is enough packaging. Not to mention, he packed papers and a calendar in with those liquid items that exploded. Where's the logic in that? Things were so randomly thrown into boxes that one of them I opened up had knives sticking straight up and every which way in the box. Nothing was individually wrapped. They also damaged my nightstands, and tv stand. One of my big kitchen knives is missing, and the remote to my Roku. They also ruined the packaging to a porcelain doll my father gave me as a gift by packing it in the box and shoving other heavy items onto it. There was absolutely no care taken in how they packed our items. I don't recommend them or Atlas. This was the worse moving experience, and it wasn't my first done "professionally."

Not-so-good stuff: there was a significant failure to communicate between U-Pack and the staffing company (which they selected) in my new location in terms of where the trailer would be for unloading. That created more headaches for me and meant that I had to cancel my existing contract with the staffing company and work directly with the local folks.

He is the customer service representative that helped me through the entire move process. He is based out of Fort Smith, AR but I got hold of him by contacting the ABF 1-800 number. I highly recommend asking for him specifically. He made sure I knew where my shipment was, when it would arrive, all the rules for NYC deliveries, and he answered a lot of random questions I had even after our phone conversations. He promptly replied to all my emails, even if it was on a weekend. Vondal gets a A++ for customer service. Advantages of using U-Pack: 1) U-Pack charges you by container, not by weight. Unlike many professional moving services, you are not exposed to risk for going over your (or their) estimate. You know how much you are going to pay from the beginning, there are no surprises, only honesty. 2) If you don't have a place to live in your new location when you move, U-Pack will store your moving containers at their facility for $125 for 30 days. This gives you plenty of time to find a place to live, then call to have your shipment delivered in a few days. 3) You don't have to drive a big truck to get your belongings to your new home. I especially didn't want to drive a moving truck in NYC! 4) You get to load the containers yourself. While the physical labor isn't an advantage, knowing your precious belongings were packed well gives you peace of mind. 5) You get to put your own locks on the shipping container so you know nobody else can mess with your stuff. 6) ABF was the least expensive (notice I didn't say cheapest) moving container specialist I quoted, and I quoted several. 7) Great communication from the company. There was a small mix up when they thought my delivery date was going to be delayed three days, so Vondal, my rep, called to discuss it with me, and he had the Facility Manager from the Wichita location call and apologize for the delay. While I was talking to the Facility Manager, he realized there actually wasn't a delay and my containers had already arrived at the destination terminal. They were so focused on my satisfaction that instead of making excuses, they immediately called to let me know what was going on at the first hint of an issue. Disadvantages of using U-Pack: 1) Depending on the city to which you move, you may have limited time to unload. We only had 4-hours in NYC. It was plenty, but we were a little tired. 2) If your destination terminal is in a big city, they may miss the appointed time. We were scheduled between 1 and 5, and they showed at 5:30. Not a huge deal, except that we only had 4 hours to unload so our friends (helpers) ended up waiting the entire 4.5 hours, too. Made it difficult to retain help. 3) You have to buy your own locks if you don't already own 4. Overall my experience as positive. I will most likely use U-Pack for my next move.

My experience with this business was incredibly hit or miss. He offered a very fair quote and that was what was charged. However, on the day/time of the move (which I booked weeks in advance), I was informed that his partner was still an hour away in Salina and I was told that either the owner would move my stuff by himself (incredibly dangerous) or that I would have to wait 3 hours until the other dude was done. As I was on a tight schedule since moving cross country, I told him to just head my way. Fortunately, he was able to contact a buddy in the area to help him out. Unfortunately, he was still an hour and a half late. However, once both arrived, they were efficient, nice, and did the job well. I paid in full (happily despite the earlier issues) because I understood that sometimes things happen and wires get crossed - that's life. That understanding and patience was not rewarded. Despite telling me before he left that he would have a receipt of services rendered within two days so I can be reimbursed by my employer, I have not heard from the owner. It's now been four weeks and I have yet to receive my receipt so I am out for the cost of the move. I have called and sent text messages, no response. I would recommend going with a mover who is more established, organized, and actually sees through his commitments. To do this to someone in the current economic climate we're in is pretty messed up to be honest, especially with the issues during the move itself.

I called 2 places before I realized a former classmate had just posted his new moving business on Facebook, so I reached out to him. I am glad that I did, Curt and his helper provided me with amazing service! They made sure everything was wrapped and secured properly. He has great communication and sends out confirmation texts for delivery and arrival times. If you are looking for convenient, affordable, and professional moving services, then he is your guy! The latest job after moving me back from Kansas City they had to come 3 times over 3 days to help me move belongings around my apartment while I was getting new carpet. They were so flexible with the schedule to work around the carpet company schedule and even Surpassed my expectation when I thought we were going to have to wait on the final day because they were already booked up. Jon and Mary found a way to get a crew out when I wasn't expecting them and they got me finished up. They are a very financially fair company and very conscientious with my belongings and surroundings to prevent damage. I am a loyal customer and will continue to use them for all my moving needs. You shouldn't hesitate to try them out for your own needs.

We contracted with them and they loaded on the date specified. My phone with a credit card went missing and was located in the cab of the semi. They were supposed to deliver the furniture on the 17th of June. Their contract gave them a ten day spread. When the 26th rolls by and after several calls to them with promises they would get back to me and I would have to initiate the call, I was told it would be July 2. Then when that didn't happen I was told July 6 and now after contacting them I'm told no earlier than the 15th. I don't believe it'll happen on that date either as they can't guarantee it. The belongings are of two people in their 80's. When discussing compensation for this horrendous delay I was told to buy an air mattress for them and they would compensate 50% of it. Really??? You've got to be kidding me. Their contract is full of outlandish charges if you don't full fill their terms but nothing is stated if they don't fulfill theirs. My parents will have been without their belongings for a month IF they deliver as stated now. Unfortunately I don't trust them nor believe them. Most likely legal action will need to be taken just to get their stuff This is not right and no company shout e allowed to prey on their customers like this

They came and said they have to come back a second day to haul off my range and move my refrigerator. I thought everything was ok. I receive a phone call that they can't move my refrigerator to the garage because they can't remove refrigerator doors. Thus, they left it for my flooring guys to move around. (They told me they were a full service moving company.) 3rd time I had an appointment from 8-10. I waited until almost 10 to call and ask where they were. They said they would get back with me. About a 1/2 hour later they called and said they would be there around 12. After that I receive a phone call they will be there in 1/2 hour. They finally came about 1:30. There are two other scheduling issues I had with them, but I won't go further. The staff was friendly, but just not professional. No, I would not re-hire them.
