After test driving, rather than rush for the sale, Nate really asked questions to get to know me and explained Black Rock and their philosophy about how you should leave with a car that makes others wonder where you went, instead of a car that everyone and their mother-in-law drives (my paraphrase not his exact words). 2nd time having issues here now…read more I specifically requested an AC diagnostic and explained upfront that I had already replaced the compressor, had the system charged the day before, and that a full leak/pressure test had already been performed. Instead of moving forward with a true diagnostic, they repeated the exact same service (discharge and recharge) that had just been done, and then charged me $285 for it. In the end, I'm back to square one--still not knowing what's wrong with my AC, but now out the money for a redundant service I did not need. To make it worse, I was told I'd need to pay even more for a diagnostic... which is what I had asked for in the first place. Very frustrating and disappointing experience. Be careful coming here for service and make sure they're clear on what you're requesting, or you may end up paying twice without answers. Always ask for Donny. He is awesome! He wasn't available when this happened.

I called to ask for advice, and the team were super helpful and talked me through exactly what I needed to do in order to try and get things working - even though at that stage I wasn't a customer as my system was installed years ago in another state. Once I managed to get the vehicle drivable I went straight to their location, and they took the time to put the vehicle in valet mode for me and talked me through the possible error causes. In the end the fob was the culprit, and they ordered me a new one and paired it for me for no extra charge when it arrived.
