2016 Kia Sorento - after 96K miles and AZ heat, the seat bottoms split at the seams. Chuck had previously worked on my Infiniti seat bottom (there seems to be a trend here) so I went to him after getting quotes starting at $1800 because he was reasonable the last time. Quote came less than half for both seat bottoms and the results couldn't be better. Looks like a factory seat down to the double white stitching. read more

Save your Money guys. Chuck owner of C&L was recommended to me from a friend and trusted his work. First, Chuck had given me a time frame of a month to a month and a half. Took him 3 months to complete my interior. Second, he had given me a price of $3200. I gave him a deposit of $1500. When I took my truck in, bill went up $500. Said material was hard to get and prices had pushed up. I had no choice, he had my deposit. After many calls and many lies, I pick up my truck to find out the awful job he had done. Carpets where short on some edges, vents on my dash where missing, edge trimmings where never put on. After taking it back for another 2 weeks, he did a 1/2 a$$ job to "fix" the poor work he had done. Come to find out he mounted the speaker mounts on the wrong end of the truck. Our Toyota Sienna needed an arm rest repair so we took it in because their price was a lot cheaper than some of the other places we had called. I stop in to get a price for replacing my car carpet...the car is my work car and after 2-years the inside was awful beyond cleaning..The owner- Chuck, looked at carpet and gave me price that was fair. Other Upholstery shops that I went into... the estimates were ridiculous.... I brought the car in for repair, and the JOB was FANTASTIC!!! And it was a done in a few hours. The carpet match the one I had in the car...and the carpet was much better than the one in the car when I bought it new. I don't know what the one star reviewer is talking about. Must be one of his competitors. I had decided to buy a kit and replace my convertible top on my own. About a third of the way into the job, I realized that there was underlying damage that is beyond my capabilities. So, i went through the yellow pages site to try to find someone near me to help me out. No one answered. 3:00 in the afternoon on Thursday and, one after the other, no answer. Forget bankers' hours, apparently upholsterers just kind of come and go as they please. At least one of them had a voice mail that said he was on vacation. Great. So, just do to answering the phone and keeping the hours he says he keeps, I ended up getting hold of Chuck at C & L Upholstery. While he was about eighth on my list, simply do to proximity, had I known what kind of service and prices I would have gotten, he would have been my first choice. Friendly, honest, reasonably priced, and got the work done when he said he would. I'm not sure what more someone could really ask. We got the car back today and, so far, so good. Chuck is a nice man and turn around time was great! Incidentally, we went to another place a couple of years ago to get the glass replaced and were charged way more than at C&L would have charged. Also, the guy did not honor his warranty when the glass shattered again less than six months later. Very disappointed. Although the other place is much closer, I would not hesitate to go back to C&L. read more
