This place is a rarity in that it was easy, the value was there, and the two dealers were honest brokers. I always reference if I would send my mom to a dealership or repair shop as my level of expectations. This time, I actually *did* send my mom here to buy her new car. She walked out incredibly happy, Brian and Charles were amazing. This dealership isn't a churn shop; each car they purchase goes through a full inspection and basic repairs, and they don't sell it if it isn't up to spec. This is better than some brand name dealerships that we went to immediately prior to this. I have a few more used car purchases in the next couple years. You can be damned sure this is my first stop.

One of the things I truly appreciate about Midlands is that I can walk in, tell them exactly what I want, and they make it happen--no pressure, no attempts to steer me toward something else. Charles "Bryant" Robinson was my salesperson, and he was absolutely fantastic. From helping with the test drive to explaining the features and offering thoughtful recommendations, his service was personal, kind, and professional. He was patient, easy to talk to, and made the entire process smooth and comfortable. This is actually my second Honda Pilot and my third Honda overall from Midlands, and I've loved each vehicle. If you're in the market for a new vehicle, I highly recommend giving them a visit. You won't be disappointed!

I like that they have all the different brands on lot, that can have vehicles shipped in nationwide for minimum fees. I do not necessarily like that the prices are firm with no negotiation or haggling. This goes for the appraisal too, they come back with one price and that's it. It's probably personal preference but I prefer a little wiggle room vs none. The inside of the building is unchanged from last visit except there are no cubicles only lots of desks. The entire floor showroom is just desks many more than employees it is not a great look. The use to have actual cars in the showroom, this is what looks better IMO. I don't think I will use Car Max in the future, there are better deals at dealers or any other named online Car seller site.

There is no negotiating on that number. Your trade in value, down payment, warranty packages are where you have your flexibility's. Nate is one of the more well versed Sales associates, so he doesn't try to lure you in with over selling and under delivering. All the numbers happen when you sit down with Kyle the Area Manager or Lucious the Sales Manager. I had spoken with Kyle in the phone so I had already planned to deal directly with Kyle. Another person in this dealership I would highly recommend. Both of these guys did an excellent job of working the numbers to make them work in this case, which also allowed for the extended warranty, which I highly recommend having benefited from it and the tire/wheel warranty. You would think a company that claims to inspect the vehicles well before they are ready to sell would have caught this. It makes you wonder. She has only had the vehicle a week today and the seat has been doing this since the day she bought it. Potential customer no more!

The finance department on the other hand was extremely brutal. I initially had warranty added for an additional cost. I decided a day or two later that I did not want the warranty. I took the time to go back in person to remove the warranty, and the finance manager was very confrontational. He continuously tried to talk me out of removing the warranty with no explanation. I quickly realized the only reason he did not want me to remove the warranty was because he didn't want to lose money on my sale. After about 30 minutes to an hour of arguing with him about removing the warranty he finally pulled out the warranty cancellation forms begrudgingly. He did not fill out the cancellation form properly. He told me that he would take the forms over to the accounting department immediately and get the additional costs removed from my SETF balance. He told me it would take about 6-8 weeks. I understood and monitored my account. 8 weeks had passed and I saw no change on my remaining balance. I called after 8 weeks to get an update and was met with the same attitude from the same finance manager. I told him it had been over the 8 weeks he had told me it would take to remove the additional costs. Instead of being apologetic, he went straight back to asking me why I wanted the warranty removed. He told me he would look into it. Another month went by and no change to my remaining balance. I called again. Same story. This went on with the same finance manager for 6 months. I finally had enough of this back and forth in May. I had to get in touch with the Business manager Ronnie Suber. She promptly got the documentation over to accounting. I finally saw the balance get removed in June... 6 MONTHS LATER! That is 24 weeks from when I was told 6-8 weeks. This is completely unacceptable. 3x the amount of time it should have taken to get this balance removed. The finance manager was more concerned about making money off the sale than having a happy customer. I would not refer any of my family or friends to shop here out of fear they would have the same treatment. If I want another Toyota I will not be returning to this place.

I am reasonably convinced that it is a scam website ran by shady characters. I ordered a part and received confirmation of the order and my card was charged. I received an email also requesting the VIN of the vehicle (which I did not want to provide because I was afraid after ordering that the website was shady). That email said that the order would be processed in 3 days if the VIN was not provided. After nearly a week, I had not received any other communication from them and noticed that the charge on my card had disappeared, but the order still showed that it was being processed. I attempted to contact them for an update on the order. ZERO RESPONSE. Now, three weeks later, they have charged my card again and sent a email saying that it is being shipped. Why no response before???? Why the charge reversal and then a second charge with ZERO COMMINICATION??? Because I received no response previously, and needed the part, I had since ordered it from a different place. Now I do not need the product. If this place actually is legitimate, stay away from them unless you are ok with guessing games and horrible communication. I have tried to contact them to stop the order, and guess what.....no response.

I KNOW for a fact a new truck is under warranty bumper to bumper for 36,000 miles. Hello! Then I needed a paint chip warranty. I needed a warranty on my tire. Total added to the price of the truck $6000.00. Never again!!! I ONLY NEED these if you are selling me a piece of junk. There was one more Ford dealership in the Columbia area. Dick Smith. The final straw was this past week on 15 Oct 2026. We dropped the car off for an oil change and a tire loosing pressure. Received a call from the service writer explaining that the tire needed to be replaced due to a nail in the side wall..no problem, but we couldn't pick the car up until the next day, again no problem on our side. At about 2 pm we hadn't heard and called for the third time. We told the operator we were on our way to the dealership. Upon arriving the service writer told us they had broken two lugs while removing the tire. This was fourth time the service department has either broken a piece on one of our vehicles, or failed to keep us informed as to the progress. Another time they shorted out a computer chip while changing the battery, another time the canyon needed wiring replaced due to squirrels and a new master cylinder, the wiring had to be ordered. Instead of replacing the master cylinder while they waited on the wiring, it was moved to the side, they kept the truck for over a week. Upon receiving the car on Saturday, they didn't reset the oil life on the dash nor did they clean the rim of the new tire. I wish I could post a picture of the tire. Their motto "Experience it once and you'll never forget" is very straight forward. We experienced and kept giving Jim Hudson chances.....Never Again, if I could give them a ZERO on the stars I would.
