One of my employee received his end of the year w2 and noticed that medicare wages were not paid. I was forced to pay the employer's medicare wages (standard) and the employee's Medicare wages ( not standard) . The kicker was he advised me not to pay and let it slipped between the IRS cracks and deal with it only if I got audit. He's not an accountant so he's not liable for anything. Only a CPA is liable for their clients not an accountant or an EA. Anyone can be a tax preparer, which is what dan tran is. Please stay away!!!!

When we politely requesting document transfer to our new CPA he made a big fuss over that matter. He also made derogatory comments that made me reevaluate our professional relationship. We found out he made many mistakes that needed to be fixed. We had to pay our new CPA quite a bit to fix some of the things he has done. When we politely requesting him to "fix", it was mission impossible. He was never admit that he has made any mistakes. Man up and own up to it! No one is perfect but not recognizing fault is not ethical.
