Our experience with Becky as our CPA was an absolute headache from start to finish. Emails went…read moreunanswered for months, leaving us constantly chasing her just to get basic updates about something as important as our taxes. At one point, she scheduled an in-person meeting in Dallas even though we live in Houston, apparently expecting us to make a roughly four-hour drive for a meeting. That level of disorganization was incredibly frustrating. Worst of all, our 2024 and 2025 taxes were not completed as expected, and now we're left dealing with money owed to the IRS. The lack of communication, organization, and follow-through has cost us both time and money. If you want to waste your time and money while dealing with one headache after another, she's the CPA for you. Based on our experience, I'm genuinely surprised she still has clients. I wouldn't recommend her to my own worst enemy.

CONTEXT: Getting older (every day) and financial security is a priority to me, and I wanted to see where all my bread goes! Y'all know I love food! LOL. I wanted to set some budgets and goals with a trusted advisor. WHAT I GRABBED: Financial Advisory for the year, quarterly minimum with access to Jeff and team for financial planning as needed, discussing/planning short to long-term financial goals. COMMENDS: Jeff is clever af. He was able to drop gems within the first 10 minutes of our conversation based on my situation. I'll speak on one, an investment with my savings that netted me a couple of hundreds within a day. Now results will vary based on what you investing, but gains indeed! RECOMMENDS: Have a discovery call with the team to see if Jeff's team can be of assistance to you and your situation. OVERALL:/VALUE: 5/5 Great value so far. I've only had one session and starting on my plan with optimism. I did have trouble contacting the team at the beginning around holiday time and expressed my concern. Jeff Badu, the CEO, reached out to schedule a follow-up and explained the miscommunication. I'll follow up as the year progresses with updates! WHAT I'M VOUCHING FOR: Solid financial advice based on your situations and a range of other services around tax planning. Until next time Yelpers, LOVE, LIVE, and STACK!

I was referred to Badu Tax Services by another Tax accountant, the initial meeting seemed promising…read moreand some of the employees were very helpful, but when it came to actually getting taxes completed my tax preparation was rushed. Here is why I know that: the email responses I was receiving were usually a 5-7 day late during tax season, they were overwhelmed by the number of customers, my taxes were higher than what I was able to obtain though another CPA. In addition, I requested to be removed from their mailing list back in November 2024 and still receive emails about follow ups and promotions despite me being a customer. This just reminds me about the company that took $2,000 for services that didn't offer the value I paid for.
