Lee is a good person we truly believe and his dad was great with our taxes in the past. Unfortunately, we used Jill to help us with our business quickbooks. It was obvious after waiting 6 months, that she was in over her head. After the first few months, she doubled her fees and still never met our agreed upon deadlines for getting our business books ready for tax preparations. We had to let her go and then we had to hire another accounting firm to help fix her mistakes. We have spent over $2500 to "undo" what she did. We have also spend over 100 hours of our personal time, going through our accounts on Quickbooks to fix it. It is so difficult to undo reconciliations and try and fix things that are classified wrong and reconciled wrong on QB. This has been a nightmare. We even brought this to Lee's attention when we realized Jill was unable to complete this job, and we were not refunded nor were we offered someone else in his firm to fix her mistakes. We were very disappointed with her lack of training and her inability to complete the job she agreed to do and was paid to complete. This is a warning to please be careful when hiring her. She is not qualified to handle small businesses on Quickbooks online. read more

How LOW can you go?! Don't bother asking....otherwise you'll end up at this god forsaken establishment. This office houses the most iniquitous, sordid, pathological liars I have ever stumbled upon. People who you should, at least in theory be able to trust with your most crucial documents have the work ethic (and for that matter ethics) of Takaka airbags. It began back in early September when I proceeded to give all of my paperwork to this office. It took Lee until AFTER my extension to even get it filed! As if that's not enough Lee couldn't be bothered to file the additional taxes until EXACTLY one month ago (in JANUARY) only a mere three months after the extension date had expired. Lee's office-as much aversion as they have to the facts surrounding the circumstances that took place, had his now deceased father, himself personally and repeatedly perpetuate the perjury that as a courtesy they would be refunding the cost to do my taxes that we filed quite literally months after the fact plus a bank fee they caused due to their negligence and apparent greed they literally demanded the check UP FRONT before any services were rendered and cashed it before the date which I asked them. The entire office, most especially Lee went on about how broke they are, how they couldn't make payroll, and spoke with their landlord due to an inability to pay their own office's rent. Lee pleaded with me for patience and to follow up at the end of the month. This was in January. I waited 4 MONTHS only to be called back by his brother, who informed me on no uncertain terms they felt no responsibility for their perpetuation of this lie for 4 months and would indeed not have the integrity to follow through and up and uphold anything they said. I'm all for giving another chance to worthwhile establishments but this one needs nothing more than to be abolished. They can't even pay their bills. You're supposed to entrust them with your taxes?! Don't make the same mistake as me. UPDATE: How convenient there was not one but FOUR "reviews" within 5 hours of each other less than a day after my scathing review of this abysmal company. Clearly the owner is threatened by the truth and is trying to up his rating on Yelp. Don't fall for his lowly tactics with his husbands false review and the other pseudo names. read more

Horrific place. Lee Ewing is not a person you want doing your taxes. He screwed up my taxes a couple years ago, cost me 11k, found out after I got an audit and currently still hasn't done my taxes for the previous year. Filed an extension and haven't heard from him since. He is a joke. Oh and he made sure to let me know he wasn't charging me for fixing his mistake and talking to the iRS. Well thank you for not charging me to take care if you F up. By the way all the information was submitted correctly. One employer didn't give me a 1099 but I had given Lee all the amounts I was paid he just took it upon himself not to report it since there wasn't a 1099 thinking I may not ever have to pay it. I worked side by side with Frank Sr and Frank Jr. Frank Sr would always tell me where and how to make the best decisions for me. Contributions and what I could write off. In easy terms so it was not so far over my head. I am sad about his passing. He was a wonderful man. His son, Frank Jr is super intelligent and has a great personality. Seems to be working hard to keep his fathers legacy going. The office staff has treated me well for years. Emmie and Maggie are always so pleasant and write everything down. My emails and phone calls have always been returned right away. I had an LLC created last year and it was done within a week. During high tax season. It was explained to me I would spend a bit more to do because it was in the midst of high tax season. They were slammed with appointments and still were able to get me taken care of along with clients. I was able to get it and get my business rolling so it was worth it. They are very up front about expenses, time and schedules. Which I appreciate. I have all 1099's since I am independent contractor. I am always very detailed with everything so I can make sure I am honoring myself and do not have any hiccups with late filings or red flags pop up. I also enjoy the ease of the location. read more
