It's prom season took my girls dress shopping and the employees in the store mislead us from walking in the door lied about pricing changed the dress prices 3 times started out saying dresses are $250 to $300 then all of a sudden the dress is $500 and then went to purchase and the dress is over $600 stating tax is over $100. Prom season is upon us. We have been casually visiting dress shops on weekends for the last month. As prom date approaches, we stepped up our game this weekend and visited more dress stores than I have ever visited my whole life. We stumbled upon this store after visiting so many others and my daughter fell in love with the dress of her dreams in this store. She is very petite and a size small dress is still a bit too big but for an extra $25 bucks their seamstress will adjust it. The owner is rude, I was taking a picture of the dress she was trying on to send to my mom and ask if she could adjust it to her height. The man said no pictures and would not stop staring at me the whole time after that. Fine dude, I get it! I won't take pictures of your stupid dresses ( By the way, there's no signs anywhere that say no pictures)Also, no touching the dresses and you can only try on 3 dresses a day per group. Oh, and only the person trying on the dress can go to the fitting rooms. Seems a bit strict to me. Reminds me of Seinfeld's soup Nazi episode. Except this guy is the dress Nazi. The only reason why we went ahead with the purchase was because she fell in love with the dress after looking at so many others. That, and the seamstress and sales associates were actually very nice. My brother had to rent a suit for a quinceañera. She told us we had to make a deposit for the suit so we agreed since it was only a suit. She later insulted us when she asked if my brother was clean all because my was covered with paint. When we went to pick up suit, she mentioned we have to sign a contract in which we were not made aware of. She told me there wasn't anything hidden but I read the contract anyways. When I set the contract down to look at a message she pulled it away from me. We then had to include a credit card, in her own words, in case the suit gets permanent damage to it. Rudest human being i hve ever met in my life . My wife loves dress shopping, and i took her here to try on a dress she needed for her Birthday. The lady was incredibly rude. And Its as if she doesn't want to sell anything, my wife would ask for a specific size and she would tell my wife "No i know what u fit into ." N Ofcourse she was wrong n would not fit my wife . The lady there is super rude. She actually asked if I was really interested in buying a dress before "allowing" my daughter to try one on. The gown was way overpriced but my daughter loved it so I said yes. Before even "allowing" her to try on the dress, I noticed that she brought out a dress that was too small. I asked if she had one in my daughter's size and she rolled her eyes and said "yes, but it's simpler". I asked how it was simpler since she did not bring it out and she actually asked me if I knew what simpler meant. I walked out and bought a beutiful gown at a shop at the other side of the mall. I don't know what that business is there for if they refuse to sell the gowns that they have there. It was weird. read more

This place has very nice dresses but you're not allowed to try on many of them and they are all labeled do not touch. Buyers beware as some of these dresses are very fragile and on paper signs it states no refunds absolutely no exceptions. I purchased a formal gown for my daughter and at the time of purchase it needed the length adjusted. It was explained to me that it could be adjusted and would only take 2 days. We went to pick the dress up and try it on so that we could get the alterations made. It was then that the added an additional fee for the tailoring? This would have taken the dress to approximately $400. Absolutely unacceptable! It is my review that as a business they need an assistance in customer service and good business practice. Management speaks only Spanish which makes it very difficult to resolve matters. I will never buy another dress from that location again. read more

I would not recommend this place to any one. Had to put one star because it made me or I couldn't post. Last night I walked in the store found 2 beautiful dresses bigger than my size. I started to walk towards the opposite wall with the two dresses in hand to see what else they had. As I was walking the lady said can I help you? I said No I am just seeing what else you have. She then said who are you looking for? I said myself. She looked me up and down and said what size? I said in all the other stores I fit a 2x but would feel more comfortable in a 3x. She said we don't have anything your size. I said I found these two can I try them on. She said no they won't fit me because I am a 4x and they don't have dresses in my size all their dresses are for skinny girls. I told her thank you walked to put the dresses back on the hanger. My husband excited to see me in the dresses came into the store and said what happened. I calmly looked at him and said she said I am to big for any of her dresses and they don't have any in my size. The lady looked at him and laughed. I then left the mall crying. I have never been more humiliated in my life. The sad part is she was bigger than me so she should know how it feels to be humiliated about your weight. I really hope she has not made any one else feel this bad. I have to admit, when I saw the other reviews I was hesitant about going to C&D Dresses. I even told my granddaughter that there may be hurtful comments but we really needed one of their dresses for a Quinceanera. I even went out of my way to pick up my sister to take with me for moral support. When we walked into the store we were greeted by a very lovely and extremely friendly young lady by the name of Damaris. I did not even know what size my granddaughter wore, but Damaris took one look at her and told us the size. She really knew her stuff! Also, my granddaughter is very shy and Damaris did a wonderful job working with her to pick out the perfect dress!!! We are extremely pleased!!! read more

We went shopping for my daughter's prom coming up and saw this place had pretty dresses but it was the biggest mistake ever! Horrible service! The younger girl was nice, but the other lady was rude She continuosly kept saying she couldn't keep looking for dresses in the back to see if they had the size needed because she didn't want to ruin the dresses and also didn't want to do multiple trips to the back searching. I saw this really pretty black dress and asked if that size was in my daughter's size and the lady replied saying oh that one is more than $300, I told her that I didn't ask the prize, I asked if they had the size needed then she replied with no that one they only have it in small sizes. My daughter is a XXL but because she has bigger boobs and we have been struggling to find prom dresses that fit her and this place had dresses her size but the horrible service made my daughter and me uncomfortable! Mind you I have enough money to buy 10+ dresses, but since I was wearing a Harry Potter shirt and jeans and my daughter was in shorts and crop top, that lady automatically thought we didn't have the money and was upset because my duaghter isn't a small size. Never judge people by their appearance. I was going to buy both the prom dress and graduation dress, but I will keep searching for a better store with better service. read more

borrowed a suit for a party suit came a white button up got a grey stain on the back and the lady told us she tried to get out with chlorine, vinegar we got home and used chlorine to try and take the stain off ourselves because when she said she used chemicals already to try it never smelt like anything the stain did end up coming so i got a new shirt but didn't like her attitude and how she lied to us. read more

So at first when we were picking dresses and suits for the quinceanera it was a welcoming environment but once it came to the fittings for the guys it was a complete disaster, this lady (the owner lupita) is all over the place, her measurements are way off and she absolutely loves to cut you off while speaking and likes to argue because she ansolutely does not like being wrong or proven wrong for that matter. Once the suits were paif off she calls me to tell me that she made a mistake in the pricing of one of the suits (which was a seperate color than the others) while charging me and accidently marked it paid, ok honest mistake, but when i looked at my receipt and contract from 2 months ago there was a set price and i told her about it, how it took her 2 whole months to realise this is beyond me!!...she said that because the suits are technaclly not picked up yet (we cant pick up until 1 day before event due to her policy) that she still is able to correct it and charge me the difference, in this case i am just honoring my contract for the price stated and she was not BAD BUSINESS lady own up to your mistake and honor the contract!!! oooh and then she tries to blame her husband who is there at the store but is also not the best help, if you have this many issues and cant keep up hire some help!!!! Never again and dont recommend this store at all!!! Ps:I dont know who gave it 5 stars but her dresses are small for real sizes and its NOT for all body sizes...her 2-3xl fits like an xl ...and she doesnt have employees its just her and her husband so those good reviews are FAKE FAKE read more

Great experience! They have so many beautiful & great quality dresses for all body types. I tend to be shorter & smaller than most so I came in thinking I would have trouble finding a dress for me. Also considering that I'm last minute shopping for my prom dress. But that wasn't the case! They had xs & many more sizes.
