customer service is crap i rented a dumpster in december and they never emptied it until april and charged me the full amount for every month after i asked if the charges were for service i never got or a dumpster rental they lied and said they'd give me a discount. yeah right i've paid several hundred for only a few months of service and trying to reach them on the phone good luck. i also had auto pay set up and they took my dumpster last month and they're still charging me i'm gona find a better company even if it cost more these guys are horrible but the drivers are very respectful and very nice it's the ladies in the office that have nasty attitudes too read more

Couldn't take it any longer I cancelled my service with them every week not even joking they would not pick up my trash then after not picking it up on the scheduled day they would wait till next scheduled pick up then not pick it up because it was full well duh and that was the best excuse all the other times it was a truck issue. read more

Poor service internally - very long waits if you call, billing inaccurate, they are slow to resolve issues. Customer service needs an overhaul. read more

Hi I have been with C&D almost 3 years and I have had problems with pick up several times they have been 2 weeks with stinky garbage left to rot in the 3 digit temperatures. I have called them several times waiting sometimes an hour at a time to get a hold of them to complain about this only to be asked was your garbage put out on time and was the lid closed? Yes to all come on people either get it together or go out of the business. My bedroom window is right next to the street and when I open my bedroom window it stinks so bad cant leave open. I will be looking for a company that cares about there clients. read more

Ditto..........Dittoo..........Ditto on all the 1 star reviews. Needed a dumpster for roofing materials. Didn't tell me until after the 10 yard was full that a 30 yard would've been cheaper. Went with Republic for the 30 yard. They got it delivered the next day. C&D told me it would be a minimum of 14 days to either dump my 10 yard or dropoff a 30 yard. I guess the roofers were just supposed to chill for 2 weeks while waiting for a dumpster to throw stuff in. Dont sign up for this pita. read more

After using them for years with only needing to call maybe twice a year because trash wasn't picked....they now haven't picked up for over 2 weeks...so disappointing to be lied to day after day, being told " I'm so sorry they will be there today! " Oh I see you called yesterday too" Never offered any credit for weeks of missed pick ups... cancelling service and never recommending them. read more

I only give them a 1 star because at least a live person answers the phone. I have called on average 1 to 2 every 2 to 3 months because people can't do their job. The trash collector has 1 job pick up the trash cans. Yet I have to call WAY MORE than a paying customer should. I don't understand where the breakdown is. I do know if I didn't pay them they stop picking up my trash, so why do I have to hound a company to complete the service I pay for. C & D has given me years of satisfactory "as scheduled" service. However, that has changed within the last month. No shows, late ( I have to call) pickups. Something has gone wrong with management locally. Looking for a new service provider. read more

Man....we bought a new building and the old owner used C&D. They came to pick up their trash can and when they did so they dropped some trash out of the can as they were pulling away from the property. I called to report it and expected to be met with an apology and a driver to come pick it back up. Instead the woman I spoke with, Gina challenged my story and then argued with me about whether or not they were responsible. When I explained that this was no different then them dropping trash in the middle of the street and me simply reporting it she said she would get back to me. True to her word she called me back and advised that after speaking with their route manager they determined that they are not responsible. For some reason the prior owner of this building used C&D and we have the option to use the city and I'm glad we have that option. I hope to never deal with this company again. read more

C & D has always been reliable for me! They have never missed a pick-up in almost two years and never leave anything lying around for me to clean up after them. I'd give 5 stars if their trucks weren't so loud!!! read more

Failed to pick up our recycling 3 weeks in a row. We are a family of 6 and have overflow now with nowhere to put it. I've called 3 times and I've recieved several excuses. One time the lady on the line says they will call me back to confirm the day the driver will pick up and she never called. I called back Monday and she said they were scheduled late in the day on Monday and must've skipped it and she will put a special note in the system to the driver. Today is Tuesday, regular trash pick up and the driver just drove on by and failed again to pick up the recycling. read more

For at least 2 months I have had to call weekly to get recycle pickup. My account is in good standing and has been for over 1-1/2 years. Anybody having same problem? I decided to change to change to Yuma Disposal. Same price and the transfer station takes care of recycling. C&D really is terrible at service. read more

Incredibly unethical business. I had paid to have a rollaway on my property for 30 days with the understanding that all that was needed was to call to have it emptied for a fee. They made a mistake and picked it up early and instead of making it right and bringing it back and allowing me to just lay the dump fee they said we would have to pay the full rental again. That is shady and dishonest. I suggest you protect your money and use a different service. read more

I am only giving one star because I have to choose one. C&D customer service needs some serious help. We ordered trash service for our lot as we were having tenants soon. First they only let us have one container for trash, when there were two different tenants on the lot. Before the container was delivered, they called to say they couldn't find the address. I gave them the directions and cross streets. One week later, no trash container and no phone call to say they still didn't find the address. The tenants we had said that the service was never consistent and they had to flag down the driver even with the container in the street. When we called and cancelled the service and asked for the container to be picked up, it was never picked up until we called yet again. They stated the driver claimed put container was not on the street. Not true. It was theredemption for two weeks. Now they sent a bill for service for May and June when we cancelled the service in April. When I call to have the charges removed I keep being told they would look into the matter and call back. Several attempts to resolve it, and it still remains open and no return phone calls from the company. Way beyond frustrated with them. Dont wast your time or money with this company. read more

This CA company's Yuma AZ division is troubled! Since fall of 2018, residential trash pickup (in the Foothills) has become progressively unreliable by trash not being picked up on the day that customers signed up for. Our area's Monday trash pick-up was just now picked up (it's Thursday) and that's after multiple calls all week. Trash from some overflowing bins has been blowing around neighborhoods. Doesn't C&D have multiple drivers to cover absences if drivers quit? Can't C&D's Operations Manager/s fill-in to drive when problems occur?...if they're not trained, they should be. Doesn't C&D double their manpower/trucks during our snowbird season when our population triples? We've heard all the excuses for the trash not being picked up when it was scheduled. Some of us citizens are considering going in together to share bins and switch to the other trash service (Republic: twice the price).... but we'll give C&D another month or two to resolve all of the above. read more

Unreliable service. We have had to call repeatedly because they do not always pick up garbage on designated days. Sometimes we have ignored the missed pick-up because our can wasn't full so didn't hassle but how could they miss when its their only job and there are more C&D customers on our street. Anyway that's not the only problem. Calling and getting a person who knows about the company policies is another challenge. I have not received a bill in over a year probably two. . . so I just kept paying. Low and behold I had an over $100 credit due to never receiving a bill nor letter stating I had overpayed. We recently cancelled service and getting a refund of our overpayment was next to impossible. Finally a supervisor authorized a refund of our overpayment. Our money not theirs and we had to fight for it. Find another company if you can. read more
