This storage facility is the worst I have ever come across. They have terrible employees who make up their own rules and are very unprofessional. I have rented storage from many different facilities for the last 20 years but this one takes the cake! We were denied access to our belongings today because the manager said we were staying too long and accused us of smoking in the facility. The thing is we were out of town for the past couple of days and had just arrived at the facility and hadn't even entered the building yet! We asked them to show us the camera footage but they wouldn't and proceeded to call the district manager who told them to kick us off the property. So basically they are denying us access to our property. All bills are current and we just got back into town. No possible way we could have been there all day or smoked in the facility as we hadn't even entered the premises. Next step is to involve police. Stay as far away from this ridiculous business as possible! read more

I went there today 12/31/2021. First, I would strongly advise you against blocking people from getting to their property without proper notice. I don't think that is legal especially if it goes against a contract executed by both parties. You need an amendment to do that. If you plan to close on certain days or earlier than normal it needs to be in the contract that is signed by each tenant. This makes everyone aware of existing or changing terms. I arrived at 11:28. Some lady was locking the doors. She saw me and said good timing. I wasn't sure what she was talking about. Then, she said they close in 10 min. What? At 11:38? I asked what she was talking about, and she told me that the door had a sign on it stating they close at 12:00pm that day. She needs a watch! first of all. then I asked why I didn't receive an email. She said the signs been up for 2 weeks. Sorry! but, I don't hang out at my storage shed! Most people don't. Don't do that to people. I had very important documents to get to. read more

For almost 8 years we had our photo items stored here. It is the only temperature controlled facility that we found available in Yuma. The place is immaculately well-kept and monitored. You can't beat their prices and billing policies. We paid about $365 a year for a 5x5 unit. They offer military discounts and weekly/monthly rates, too. Before we found this place, we were paying a hundred bucks a month for a bin in San Diego! The people managing the facility are very friendly and knowledgeable. read more

I chose this storage facility because the reviews were great. I have been gone for all of 3 weeks and I'm already having issues. I don't know the name of the person working at the front desk this morning, but she needs to get fired. I left a key on file and designated one of my friends as a person who can get into my unit. I needed her to get some important docs for me and mail then out to me since I'm out of the state. Upon arrival there, they told her they "lost my key". So I called them today and asked them how my key was lost. The lady gets loud immediately with me telling me they didn't lose the key, but that it wasn't on file. Which is total bullshit because I have a copy of the papers stating I left a spare key. So she's lying. Then I tell her to stop telling and interrupting me, and she continues to not let me get a word in, at which point I lose my shit. Needless to say I will be driving down this weekend from out of state to move my storage into another unit where they will not be rude and where I will know for a fact my belongings will be safeguarded as well as where my keys will not be lost. When I asked to get a manager's number she said "NO". Oh excuse the fuck out of me for wanting to file a formal complaint about your half assed customer service and your lack of ability t o keep a key on file. Rudest storage company I have ever dealt with. Completely unprofessional. Rude. They don't keep track of anything properly from what I have experienced. I would not suggest getting a storage unit here. If you do, KEEP YOUR PAPERS AND RECEITS and total inventory of everything stored there. If I find anything missing they'll have hell to pay. God knows since they lost my key someone could have cleaned my storage out and I'm not even there to check. Update: this chick working this morning again called MY FRIEND and NOT ME to tell her that if I call there again, they're going to file a police report. OH GOOD! I'm getting an attorney and suing the fuckin place out of business. My belongings are in their storage and they don't even have the decency to call ME? Telling my friends they'll file a police report on ME? Telling my friend to MAKE ME UNDERSTAND that they lost my key and that I don't need to get bent out of shape? Wow they have some nerve! Not only am I going to be filing a police report, but I will also be getting a lawyer and a reimbursement of all fees and money for me to move all my belongings into another storage unit and the funds for the UHAUL truck I will be renting. I had my personal things here for over 10 years. I had to move in with my elderly Mother and cared for her until her passing. The managers, Jim and Tina were always kind, professional and humorous. When auto pay was finally installed, then Tina didn't have to call and remind me anymore. She didn't HAVE to in the first place but her kind heart did it anyway. I didn't go to the facility but a few times but it was always very clean and orderly, everything in it's place. Of course, it being air cooled was major and appreciated. They have all the tools for us to load things on, elevator, to get to The loading dock. I wouldn't use any other facility in Yuma. But it's the people that make the difference.
