They have lots of ponies and horses and little horses, goats chicken roosters pigs geese. My daughter loved the pony ride so much that she begged me to write the bigger horse. I was so nervous for her, but she really enjoyed it. Of course you ride at your own risk keep that in mind and keep an eye on your children because as I mentioned on one of the pictures, they say that a horse doesn't bite, but I got a bruise from the bite. The horse bit my daughter first. And they said oh no, it doesn't bite. And I thought maybe it just nibbled on her and she got scared. However, then the horse bit me and I got a little bruise. So yes, the really big horse does bite. Also beware because there is another horse there that says not to feed a carrots and it does say on the sign that it does bite so keeping eye for signs really read the signs before you pet any animal. Some of the horses cannot eat carrots they have like a special diet, so please be respectful of that and do not feed them carrots if it says no carrots it can be for different reasons can be because they bite or because they're on a special diet. The whole staff is super friendly and nice. I really enjoyed talking to all of them and getting to know them. This place is huge. Expect to be here for a while and really enjoy your time. There's so much to see and do. My mom and daughter and I all of us got in the train ride, which was so much fun!!! Honestly, I think everything is pretty reasonable price. They do sell drinks, food, honey, eggs, even duck eggs. I think they do birthday parties, which is awesome. I also seen for the summer. They do rent out the pool area so that sounds fun. I'm considering doing that. It's definitely a hidden Gem and I can't wait to go again!!! my daughter absolutely love love love love this place that she can't wait to go again too. Make sure you follow directions how to defeat the animals it took my daughter a few times to get the courage to feed the horses, but after that, she just wanted to feed all the animals over and over again.

Found this hidden gem in Las Vegas on Facebook and finally decided to check it out with the family…read more We went on a Sunday around 1 PM after church, and while we still had a great time, it was definitely HOT outside. I would highly recommend visiting during cooler weather or earlier in the day so you can enjoy it longer without the heat draining you. The farm itself is a little hidden away, but they do have signs posted for parking, which made it easier to find once we got close. One thing I really liked is that admission is completely free, although they do have a donation box at the entrance if you'd like to support the farm and the animals. There were quite a few animals to see including horses, donkeys, goats, ducks, and pigs. The highlight for us was feeding the animals. Make sure you buy a bag of carrots because the animals definitely know visitors come with treats and they'll come right up to you expecting snacks. The goats especially were very eager and entertaining for the kids. I also noticed they host events here and offer pony and horse rides, which would be really fun for birthday parties or family gatherings. Even though it's a simple little farm, it turned out to be a fun and relaxing activity for kids and families looking for something different to do in Las Vegas away from the Strip. Overall, we had a good experience and would probably come back again when the weather is cooler.

The tour is $15 per car which I feel is very reasonable. As soon as we got there. Their gate is close for the animals safety, and Ron met us at the gate. The ranch is kept very clean, and the alpacas, pigs, and dogs all looked very well kept. Ron was amazing, and you can totally tell he loves his animals. The alpacas are super adorable! They have a cute ranch store that sells socks and clothing made out of alpaca shearlings. Super cool. Thank you, Ron for having us! We definitely enjoyed our visit.

It was such a treat to meet 42 alpacas including Ted the alpaca host and a 2 month old cria named Zack! Also got to the hug some guardian doggos named Loki, Thor, Odin and Eric. We even got to feed the pot belly pigs named Chewbacca and Charlotte. Since we visited during Covid times, my husband and I got a private tour of the alpaca farm. I made the reservation over the phone with Ron about a week in advance and Anna was our tour guide that day. 95% of the alpacas roam around on their own, only Ted is trained to hang out with humans and take pictures. But it was very nice Ron took us to the back to be closer to Zack the 2 month old cria. He is just adorable! You can tell Ron and Anna are very proud of their farm and they are very informative of all the animals. Ron would sprayed our hands with hand sanitizer before taking us to the gift shop. Entrance price was reasonable at $11 per family. And we bought some soft alpaca yarn socks to take home. Wish we had bought the beanie too!

First, you NEED to make a reservation before going…read more I never knew we had a ranch with 30 Camels, Alpacas, a Llama, New Guinea Singing Dogs, a Two Toed Sloth, an African Crested Porcupine, a Donkey and a few other animals about an hour outside of Las Vegas. Guy the owner, an amazing bank of knowledge, he knows so much about each animal and more. He is a little rough around the edges and some may think him rude; you try to manage a 176 acre ranch with well over 60 animals who have to be fed daily, not so easy... The Camels have a diet of lettuce, carrots, sweet potatoes, apples; the sloth has a special diet which includes egg whites, the ranch dogs get the yolk as a daily treat and they know when that's coming. So in addition to taking care of all the animals, the ranch which is 176 acres, there are also tours to manage. So show him a little appreciation for what he does every day, seven days a week, etc... You can do camel rides, an ATV experience, a zoo tour on a tram, it's not easy and I feel for him so if you go out there, understand his personality has to be rough to deal with all this. Also understand, each animal has its own personality and feelings. Yesterday, Norm a camel used for rides was having a bad day. He was not in the mood for riders. I first tried to ride Norm, he was calm getting his saddle on but once I got on him, he was nope. When Allie got me off of Norm, Norm had an attitude with both Allie and Guy, Norm had to be put in a kennel which Norm was not happy about but needed a time out. So remember, dealing with 30 camels, mini horses, a Llama, Alpacas, a sloth, etc; they are dealing with a lot of different personalities and feelings in addition to people coming to visit. Safety is taken as a HIGH priority. These animals can inflict pain & even death, so I have a LOT of respect for Guy & Allie. They not only have to be concerned with adults but children as well. We arrived at 8:45 which is when the gate is opened, we met Allie and Guy along with another couple. We rode first and as I said Norm was not happy so I got off and they took my friend around the track. Upon coming back with my friend, a whole group showed up for the zoo tour so we were asked if we minded doing the zoo tour and then we will get back to the camel ride. No biggie... The zoo tour was amazing. We got on the tram and were taken to see every animal on the property stopping in each area, learning all about the animals in that area with the opportunity to ask questions, got to go in the kennel to feed the Llama and Alpacas, cool animals, petted the zebra, fed and petted the porcupine, got up close and personal with the sloth and just had an amazing experience. The knowledge gained yesterday was so cool. Once the zoo tour was over I got to ride Lodi. The camel ride was really cool, long and a really neat experience I would do again. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND you go out and visit this Camel Safari. They need the support as they have a lot of mouths to feed daily and you will have an amazing experience in the Nevada desert.

This experience was unforgettable from start to finish in their 165 acre property. We kicked off the day with a short ride on Jafar, a stunning, gentle giant weighing nearly 3,000 pounds. ( love at first sight) After taking some amazing photos with him, he happily stayed nearby and spent the rest of the day with us. From there, we met several other camels and hopped on the tram, where more adventures were to be had . Along the way, we encountered so many incredible animals, more camels, a zedonk, llamas, alpacas, and miniature horses. One of the highlights was feeding Thorn, their adorable pet porcupine,grapes she was just the sweetest little girl. We also got to see New Guinea singing dogs (so cute!) and Ambien, their 20-year-old sloth, who was just as amazing to see in person as you'd imagine. Feeding the alpacas and llamas carrots was such a fun, hands-on experience. As if that wasn't enough, four friendly Ridgeback dogs casually joined us on the tram, roaming freely and adding even more charm to the day. Every animal we encountered was gentle, well cared for and clearly loved . I truly can't say enough wonderful things about this experience it was pure joy from beginning to end. If you've never met a camel, Ilama, or alpaca, you're missing out. These gentle creatures will absolutely fill your heart. I'm already looking forward to going back again soon.
