My German shepherd Max stayed here for almost a month and when I picked him up, he seems to like to stay with Chris, just give me the impression that he was taken care well. Also, his toenails were trimmed I was not even charged for the job well done. While I was gone, they communicate and give me an update of my baby. Mine you this is the 1st time I am away, but he was comfortable with Enchanted Paw. I will do it again if I have to. Thank you so much for loving my fur baby!!! The communication between establishment and their customers is lacking and completely unprofessional. We had to call and reschedule our appt last minute (1hr prior) because our pup chewed through her harness and we had no way of getting her to the appt without It. she's a big dog and we are uncomfortable leaving her with just a collar and no harness. On our end we were apologetic and were willing to pay a cancellation fee or whatever it took because it was our fault: but on the phone we were told "we're really busy today , running super behind I don't think we would get to you anyways" fine no problem. we get it being a small business. we understand and were fine with it. Our rescheduled appt rolls around, we show up In person, to be turned away. This time with the excuse "it's too rainy we can't do the dog today." then follow that up with "come Wednesday, I'll honor the special rate" *excuse me? 1. a phone call goes a long way. It's been raining for 2 days straight so it's not like it was new news; if it was going to be a problem It would've been nice to know ahead of time before getting my 120lb dog down to the building. 2. Im questioning what outside conditions have to do with a pet grooming service. * if I'm being honest, if I wanted to wash my dog in the backyard, I'd do that myself for free. I was under the assumption that taking your dog to the groomer, that maybe just maybe they would be groomed inside in a special area? I will not be further pursuing giving this establishment business. Which would have been a frequent multiple times a month situation. I was referred by a person who does use this establishment often, but sadly I cannot say I had even remotely the same experience as them. Which is disheartening. read more

I recently took my dog to the Enchanted Paw and just wasn't happy with the results. I went there to try and save money with my three dogs. Don't get me wrong the couple and daughter are very, very nice and obviously good dog people. The facility is in disrepair inside and out. It needs a good cleaning and a coat of paint. There is junk in the small parking lot that has been there for months. The weeds are overgrown, etc. None of that really matters to me but it is reflected in the grooming. The last time I brought the dogs in a couple of months ago and for the first time, the shampoo had a weird smell to it. There were nails missed and ears where not cleaned properly. Overall it was a cheap grooming and I got what I paid for. Like most dog owners these dogs are my most valuable possessions. I am going back to Petco and spending the money. I wish the owners well. read more

My pups, McQueen and Snickers, had their first grooming session at The Enchanted Paw this morning. They both look fantastic! The owners greeted us in a very friendly manner and loved on my pups to get to know them beforehand. They are very professional and provide a caring, loving and gracious environment for pets. The first time I took my dog there and they did a good job my only problem with them is the lack of customer service when you're trying to call somebody for seven days to see if you can get an appointment for your dog and you get no answer that is not good customer service or they are so busy that they cannot handle the clientele that wants to use them and if that's the case they need to put them on the post that says too busy to deal with you right now try another time so with that being said I have decided to move on. The enchanted paws has a good price but price isn't anything when you can't even get their service so good luck to anybody else who is trying to get their dogs in or succeeds to get their dogs in but I'm moving on read more

The Enchanted Paw is the only place we use for boarding and grooming when we are in the Kingman AZ area. The owners are super sweet and very good with pets. They truly care about the animals that walk through the door and they will accommodate for special requests. We have had our two Aussie Shepards for over 10 years now and they absolutely LOVE going to the Enchanted Paw. They get so excited the moment we turn on Kingman Ave! The place is very clean and the owners are caring and loving. I left our dog, whom I had just rescued, with them for 3 nights while visiting family. She was well taken care of and happy. They also opened up early on Sunday for me to retrieve Polly and get on the road towards home. The area around the kennel may be questionable, but this is an oasis amid the ramshackled area. I would definitely use them again and again. read more

Our dog is usually so happy when he gets to meet new people and stay at fun places. For the first time in his 5 years he just did not seem happy about staying. After we pulled away I just couldn't get it out of my head that something wasn't right. So my husband turned around and demanded to see our dog in the kennel inside. They seemed hesitant and I know why. The kennel was smaller than we are use to. They only had 4 chihuahuas and our Australian Shepherd in the entire building. However it smelled as though the entire place was covered in old urine. The amonia smell was overwhelming. We told them to just give us back our dog so we could leave. The staff was nice enough and informed us they had not yet started cleaning for the day. From the smell I can't imagine they do much more than hose off the concrete. We have used many kennels in the past 5 years and no matter what time we show up it never smells of urine or feces. read more
