Using a soft scarf as a sling to help him get up and walk.
    Raquel L.

This is the worst vet iv ever been to. My 10 yr old male boxer was rattle snake bitten. They were the only vet that seemed to have room for an emergency like this ‍. But the care they provided was sub par to say the least. They gave an antibiotics &, pain shot along with a I.V fluid bag but said my dog did NOT need the anti-venom , I even questioned that twice as they treated him in the back ignoring my request to be with him while they treated him. I had been told the vet was going to just look at him real quick and they would come get me prior to treating him. Nope they left us in the waiting room and I asked the receptionist twice what was going on??. The vet came out after they brought my dog back to me and told me she did not think he needed the anti-venom while we stood in the receptionist /waiting area holding his leash. I was shocked. We had driven almost a hour to get there. The vet said if he was given anti venom that he would have to be observed by them for 2 hours. We were fine with both of those. But once more she said she didn't think he needed it. But never really said why. You can see there is no blood work done nor did they ask to do it. They sent us home with gabapentin & amoxicillin. The next morning he had lost control of his back end. He could not get up on his own we had to use a sling. I called the vet at 8am and left messages through out the day about him and that I was extremely concerned. The vet did not call me back to 5:08pm and said she wanted to add a additional antibiotic to his meds and see him ( I had been trying to get him in all day ) I finally started recording those conversations because it was so frustrated . They knew we lived a hour out from the vet office. I told them my husband would come for the meds. But DR Welter said they would be closed now. I asked them to turn the prescription into Walgreens and he would go there. We would come in and get the meds she wanted and refill the Gapapentin the next morning. When my husband got there they still did not have the Gapapentin filled and he had to wait. We're at the 3 week mark now they have never called since I spoke with the vet or texted to see how My dog is. I also had requested DEX ( it's a steroid a lot of vets give for a snake bite )to help him with his back end. Dr Welter said it was not indicated for a snake bite ‍ and yet a lot of vets have used it for years with a lot of success. I found the whole experience with them to be very unprofessional and downright unethical. The only good thing I can say is the first vet tech did try and give help. But I will never take another animal here. They don't honor their word of checking up on an animal they are treating , nor do they care. I believe my dog was just $$$ walking thru the door and they did the bare Minimum. I wish I could share the audios here to show the lack of their concern or willingness to care about a dog that was under their care. They did say call us if you see any changes. I did .... And they failed us, and my dog.

Called Cerbat Cliffs while traveling through Kingman to see if they could trim my dog's nails. They got Olive in within 30 minutes of us calling. Vet tech was friendly and welcomed Olive Great Experience!! Reasonable price.

His ugly mass under his ear

I have never been treated so WELL by any doctor or veterinary in my life!! My Rufus had an emergency at 1:00AM and they met us at their office in the middle of the night to help us! Their kindness & compassionate to Rufus and Me, was amazing! ( I was a wreck) They fixed him up, and we took him back to the them early the next morning for the surgery that he needed. Their communication with us and follow up was so kind. Rufus is doing amazingly well...He goes to get his stitches out in four days! And, my Rufus is feeling great! I was pleasantly surprised that the cost was not what I thought it was going to be, very reasonable for all the work that they did. Thank You!!

    Our beautiful boy Rusty

These angels were not our regular veterinarians. We had an emergency our beautiful boy collapsed. He was elderly and his hips gave out. We're old folks and unable to get him in the car even if we were strong enough it would have hurt him, he was already confused and exhausted we didn't want to put him through the trama of a car ride (he was frightened in his older years of car rides) euthanasia at our regular vet was out of the question and they didn't do house calls. I called Cerbat Cliffs and right away they said they could help us. We live in the boonies an hour from town. A team came out, Dr Melchiors and Christyn. Angels. I can't express enough the care and compassion they provided our Rusty and us. He passed peacefully in his own home. We stopped in yesterday and picked up the beautiful paw print Christyn made for us. We are so grateful for this gift. If you're looking for people who care about animals this is the vet for you.

Heartbreaking Negligence - Avoid This Clinic…read more Rating: 1/10 (If I could give zero stars, I would) I am writing this review with a heavy heart to warn other pet owners. I took my dog here because I was convinced she was pregnant. Despite her weight gain and clear physical changes, the veterinarian dismissed my concerns, claiming it was just her body changing after her first heat cycle or perhaps a "phantom pregnancy." I explicitly pushed for an ultrasound to be sure, they took her back and I had to wait. She brought her back and said no there's no puppies because even by this time she should see sacks and didn't see anything the ultrasound was clear. A few weeks later, while I was out of town, my dog went into labor. My son called me in a panic because a puppy was partially stuck. After a desperate Sunday search for an open emergency vet, my girl ultimately did not survive. She was only carrying two puppies, but the complications were fatal. When I spoke to the office on Monday, the vet admitted, "It looks like she was pregnant after all." She tried to claim I brought her in too early, but based on the dates, she would have been five weeks along at the time of the initial exam well within the window to be diagnosed. The most insulting part was the lack of compassion. When I told the vet my dog had passed away, she said she was sorry and the line immediately disconnected/went silent. I called back twice and left a voicemail to give the office a chance thinking the call had dropped, but I never received a return call. If you love your pets and want a vet who listens to your concerns and stands by their work, do not go here. Their negligence and dismissive attitude cost me my dog's life.

They were kind and gracious. I can't thank them enough helping my baby cross over rainbow bridge.

Our dog died here July 5th, 2025. I can't give a rating on…read morehow they treated our dog because he didn't live through the weekend that we left him in their care, but I will write a review on how they handled the situation after. We got a call Saturday July 5th, 2025, around 9am that our dog had died an HOUR earlier. We rushed over to the facility and David Torres, who I assume is the owner or lead trainer, told us that our Frenchie had breathing complications and died. Not in the heat but in the air-conditioned area that they kept the dogs in. It made no sense to me because our dog would sleep with us every night in an AC controlled room. I asked to see the security footage because I wanted to rule out negligence on their part. David told me he would get the footage and asked if I could return later. I told him I wouldn't leave until I saw it with my own eyes. After a few hours David came back and said he needed to wait for their IT tech to return to retrieve any footage. My wife and I were furious and didn't know what to do since we were staying in town for the holiday weekend. David then offered to have our dog cremated locally but we refused. He also insisted and provided a WRITTEN PROMISE to provide us with ANY puppy we wanted. At the moment we didn't want to hear anything about another dog. We went to the store to buy a cooler and placed our Frenchie inside and started a 5-hour drive back home in silence. We were able to get him cremated locally by our home and David said he would take care of the bill. We paid out of pocket and sent David the receipt. David then promised he would mail out a check, but after almost 3 weeks nothing came. We had to reach out again, and a check finally arrived a few days later. After a few weeks of back and forth, David sent a message that EVERY camera that covered the area where our dog was staying had malfunctioned and had no footage of the incident AT ALL. It became extremely difficult to believe that no negligence had occurred after this... Back in December 2025 my wife and I were still feeling the emptiness in our home. We had gotten our Frenchie shortly after getting married. Since we have no children, our dog filled that void at times. I spoke to my wife about getting another dog and I remembered the written promise David made. I reached out to David and let him know what my wife and I wanted to get a puppy to be a family of three once again. He confirmed he received our request and we let him know we wanted an Australian Shepherd. Weeks went by and there were never any solid leads. He offered us an Australian Cattle Dog but I didn't want to accept that only because it was convenient. If we were going to get another dog, we wanted to be able to choose him, not have it forced on us. This is where things became very frustrating. For almost 5 weeks there was no response from David. Not only until I cc'd the support email did I get a response from David a few days later. He casually brought up that he had been in Texas for a month. I understand that for a business owner, something that happened months ago may not be a priority, but for my wife and I, it's something we get reminded of every day when we see our dog's toys in the laundry room. David then confirmed that they would most likely not be able to find us a dog and offered us $500 as an alternative. My wife and I were so tired of dragging this on that we agreed to the $500 so we could save up and get our own dog. David asked for my home address, which he would have had from the cremation check, and confirmed he would mail out a check via FedEx or UPS. Here we are 2 WEEKS LATER still with NO UPDATE from David or the support email. If you have a good relationship with this facility great. But if you're in town and looking for a place to entrust your pets consider another facility. The way David handled this situation was beyond unprofessional. I was hesitant to write this review because I wanted to give David the benefit of the doubt, but I guess it doesn't really matter to him. If anyone from the team responds to this review before the list of unanswered emailed it would just further my point of unprofessionalism.

Your response on Google proves my point--no accountability, just deflection…read more Let's be clear: your reply doesn't address any of the actual issues I raised. You still haven't pointed to a single written policy stating that a dog with fleas will be banned. You talk in circles about vaccines and "standards," yet completely ignore the fact that you have no clear intake protocol for checking dogs for fleas before boarding. My dog had no visible fleas, no itching, and had been vet-treated with a 30-day preventative just a week prior. I have documentation. But instead of doing your due diligence or even communicating like professionals, you chose to blame the customer and permanently ban my dog, a dog who had been coming to your facility for five years. That's not customer service. That's unprofessional damage control. And speaking of your response--if you can't use basic grammar or properly articulate your own policies, that says a lot about how you operate. Words were misused, statements were contradictory, and large parts of your message made no sense in the context of the issue. If you can't communicate clearly, how are customers supposed to trust your judgment or processes? Running a business requires more than just capacity--it requires competence. Your vague mention of "additional reasons" with no details is just a way to dodge responsibility. You claim to be the "largest facility in the Tri-State," yet failed to properly screen or manage a situation involving one dog. Being big doesn't mean being better--especially when it comes at the expense of accountability and transparency. You also mention the BBB, but the fact remains: you're not accredited. Not having complaints isn't a sign of quality--it just means people are turning to platforms like this because you don't handle concerns professionally. Your refusal to accept responsibility, your condescending tone, and your complete lack of a flea policy all speak volumes. You mishandled this situation from beginning to end. Other pet owners deserve to know exactly how you operate.

I came across camp bow wow before I even got my dog and knew if I ever did this is where they would go. Well I got a dog last year and here we are. I travel often so I knew I would need a place to board my dog whenever I went out of town, i reached out last October to set up a day so my dog can go and check them venue out the process is easy all online , I brought my pup in on October 30th, 2025 for Her intake day, i was nervous she wasn't too happy at first I went back home and waited the few hours and came back to get her and she passed. We booked her for her first stay for Thanksgiving and into the weekend, the boarding process is a simple process, you bring their food and toys and pet bed so they feel more at home give them feeding instructions and give your fur baby some Love before you go, we paid for cuddle time so she got some 1:1 attention, I was nervous leaving her there for so many days but they have cameras you can watch to see them and that makes me more comfortable being able to see my pet. I chose this establishment because of The great reviews and camera access the staff is amazing you can tell they truly love animals, Mine can be a little snappy with people but they are patient with her and I appreciate that, I want to take her to daycare more to be more socialized around people and pets so we are excited to be apart of the camp bow wow family, thank you PP and I are grateful for you!

I gave them a call and was told to create an account and fill out an application online. Once I filled out an application online for an interview, I would be called to schedule. When I brought Teddy in, they notified me that they were going to do a minimum 3 hour interview, but was also welcomed to keep him until just before they closed around 7pm. His appointment was at 2pm and just kept him until 5pm. They provided cameras for all of the play yards (2 views - entire play yard or snout view). While watching the cameras, I saw them taking Teddy around the empty play area to walk around, then slowly they introduced different dogs one at a time to see how he interacted. After a series of different dog interactions, he was introduced to the main play yard with all dogs in similar size. The way their dog camp works is all day play. They said Teddy did well and passed the interview. I received a cute coupon with his face that said "welcome to the pack", which included a discounted rate for 3 full days at camp, 1 bath, & 1 individual enrichment session. I scheduled an all day camp a couple of days later to make sure he was acquainted with the space prior to boarding him for a full 7 days. I asked about doggy boarding and wanted the full Lux room to be able to see the room as he sleeps. My anxiety was in full effect because I've never left Teddy alone before and he was already an abandoned dog, so I didn't want him to think we just left him. The day came when we had to bring him in (day before since we had an early flight next day). My husband took Teddy in and I checked the app. It said "cabin" and not the lux suite. I asked my husband if he made sure Teddy was in the upgraded suite and he didn't make sure to ask. I called and spoke with the owner, Paula. She notified me he was indeed booked for a regular cabin, which did not allow me to see him in his room throughout the night. I voiced my frustration that when I booked, I wanted to upgrade to the lux room. She told me all the lux rooms were booked but one would be opening up 3 nights later. I was about to call all the different Camp Bow Wows to ensure I would be able to see my dog. Paula found an alternative. There was an enrichment room for enrichment services that also had a 24/7 camera. She moved things around and allowed Teddy to sleep into the space and notified her team so there wouldn't be any schedule disturbances. My heart felt more at peace knowing I would be able to see how he was doing. Fast forward and I can tell that Teddy was sad from the cameras, which is understandable. We received a call to notify us that he has blood in his stool. He's not used to all day play and I'm sure he was stressed that we haven't come to pick him up. I ended up adding enrichment services everyday until we picked him up. They sent me pictures during snuggle sessions and it made me feel at ease knowing he was getting a little extra love and attention. Or flight was delayed and I kept in constant contact with the text number they provided for me. They notified me that Teddy was welcomed to stay as long as he needed. Service was honestly fantastic. I was so happy with the open communication and reassurance that Teddy was okay or doing better. I'm thankful for the team for loving doggos so much. I kept an eye on those cameras like a hawk. They also state their cleaning supplies for any messes are all dog friendly
