No veterinarian anywhere in the Needles vicinity would see him on an urgent basis. However, Cerbat Cliffs Animal Hospital, in Kingman, Arizona was receptive and told me to drive over there right away. We received great care from Dr. Veronica Welter and the staff. I highly recommend this animal care facility. --Giuseppi Slater, M.D.

She and the entire team helped us navigate the challenges of caring for a diabetic cat, and every staff member has treated us with kindness and patience. Vet care can be expensive when you're living on Social Security, so we were especially grateful for the senior discount they offer. It truly made a difference. Recently, we had to bring Beggar in for another emergency visit. Dr. Veronica gently explained that he had only weeks to live due to cancer. We were faced with the heartbreaking decision to let him go. Dr. Veronica and the staff were incredibly compassionate--no pressure, no rushing--just honest answers and support as we tried to understand what Beggar would go through if we took him home. About a week later, we received a card from them that was so thoughtful it brought us to tears all over again. You won't find a better veterinary team. We highly recommend them.

Heartbreaking Negligence - Avoid This Clinic…read more Rating: 1/10 (If I could give zero stars, I would) I am writing this review with a heavy heart to warn other pet owners. I took my dog here because I was convinced she was pregnant. Despite her weight gain and clear physical changes, the veterinarian dismissed my concerns, claiming it was just her body changing after her first heat cycle or perhaps a "phantom pregnancy." I explicitly pushed for an ultrasound to be sure, they took her back and I had to wait. She brought her back and said no there's no puppies because even by this time she should see sacks and didn't see anything the ultrasound was clear. A few weeks later, while I was out of town, my dog went into labor. My son called me in a panic because a puppy was partially stuck. After a desperate Sunday search for an open emergency vet, my girl ultimately did not survive. She was only carrying two puppies, but the complications were fatal. When I spoke to the office on Monday, the vet admitted, "It looks like she was pregnant after all." She tried to claim I brought her in too early, but based on the dates, she would have been five weeks along at the time of the initial exam well within the window to be diagnosed. The most insulting part was the lack of compassion. When I told the vet my dog had passed away, she said she was sorry and the line immediately disconnected/went silent. I called back twice and left a voicemail to give the office a chance thinking the call had dropped, but I never received a return call. If you love your pets and want a vet who listens to your concerns and stands by their work, do not go here. Their negligence and dismissive attitude cost me my dog's life.

They were kind and gracious. I can't thank them enough helping my baby cross over rainbow bridge.

The emergency responder that returned my voicemail via text told me they would try to work my mare in on a Saturday for colic. This was about 0830, and eventually, after hours of texting & them waiting to tell me they couldn't come (8 hours later) I was instructed to take her to the Equine Hospital in Vegas, which we did. However, they stated that IM banamine was ok (it's NOT!) and frankly they should have suggested trailering her sooner. I doubt it would have changed the outcome (my mare had a bad small bowel impaction) but it was either a vet tech acting out of their scope of practice or a vet giving wrong info (regarding the Banamine) when they could have just said "give the IM liquid orally instead". And waiting from 8:30am until 4:30pm to suggest trailering her might have been something to recommend waaaaay earlier. Even if was just an upfront "Hay, don't expect me make it. Go ahead & trailer her to Vegas" would have been appreciated. Honestly, even without them being flaky, had they suggested I even consider taking her Vegas earlier in the day I would have immediately done so & had a good review to give here. I realize my mare was not established, but I also haven't experienced having a horse colicing before and needed straightforward answers & professional help. I did not receive that. Rather, poor communication & a delay in care. Again, i recognize that it's unlikely to have changed the outcome, but i would have been willing to establish my other mare there and respect them. But specifically about the Banamine, I did not believe I could trust them with my horses safety. I did post screenshots in order but it still mixed them up. They are time stamped though, so while difficult to follow, not impossible. Sorry yall.

There is also a Google Review in which Mrs. Wright did Respond in a matter to defend herself like she was on the Witness stand in a court room. Please Check that out: Screen Shot is attached, That review is what prompted this from me: Mrs. Wright, ( You don't hold the Moniker Dr. with me ) There is clearly a Communication breakdown between you and your staff. In different instances, you have been hard to get ahold which we had to physically come to your office to get what we needed. And when you say you called us back and it just rang with no voice mail... (Wrong answer)- All Cell phones go to voicemail, including Obama ones and the lowest cricket plan you can get. The Point is "It never went to Voicemail" is the oldest line in the book, And in bears death, this being a medical emergency this is 2024, even 911 will text you back- I'm just stating Facts,.... By the way the new excuse is "Voicemail is full" but its too late to back peddle on that now....Moving on..... The cold and callous remark from whatever candy striper in your office responded back: "Even if Bear passes at home, Still just bring him in". Of course this still would have been a two hundred dollar office visit, plus after care arrangements. With that said, I think its safe to say your more concerned about your tax bracket at the end of the month, Vs. Your bedside manner in a moment of a Grieving, family and their loss. Bear was 13 years old, He has been with us since he was a puppy. He was not just a pet, But he was a member of the family and for him to go like that.... I'm furious at you for that! And that will never change. The lack of care you guys have is at a biblical level. I'm sure you wont care what we have to write, actions speak so much louder than words. And this is tortiously round about. But I will leave things on this note... Sometimes, words do speak louder than actions, and a town this small, word travels fast. I have been reading more reviews on this site and it would appear that our family is not the only one that has had like run-ins with you and your "trained staff" as you put it. Your practice, Seems to be on a downward spiral. And I did see in your comments, that you were very quick to end care with our remaining companions. All snap judgements on your behalf with not even ..........ill wait .......c'mon......you know this one..... YES.... YES! a phone call.... The good ol' phone again..... Don't worry, we know... "Never went to Voice mail" right? -(However give her 1 star on a review and she responds before the ink dries)- We have spent years, and a lot of money with you, and we are tossed out like yesterdays newspaper. We are Grieving the loss of a family member, You have the compassion of a prison warden. Thanks again for that call. We appreciate you- Mrs. Wright, and the people that clock in there.... I want you to understand that I'm not mad at you for Bears Death. I am furious that no one in your office cares to do the right thing, EVEN when no one is looking. And that statement, I hope stings a bit, Because if anything comes out of this letter, I want every one In Kingman Arizona to know how you guys truly react when it really matters. You guys fell flat on your face- Nefarious!
