Unbelievably disappointed "service " if you want to call it that. My appointment for my two small dogs was at 10 AM.. when we entered the place of business. It was very chaotic very loud. The one of the women that had me fill out the forms had to get really close to me in order to hear what I was saying that's how loud it was. I wasn't sure about taking them there, but I was referred by one of their employees so I thought that I would go and support this business this time to see how it would go. Big mistake I will never return to this business. I was given a quote over the phone which this business did not honor, so I was given a quote over the phone. She did not ask me to send Pictures which every other groomer that I've got a quote over the phone always has asked me to send pictures. They were last groomed 6 to 8 weeks ago. I was quoted $65 for each of my girls. When I made payment I was told a different price. So this business did not honor the quote. I received a phone call at 3 PM to pick up my girls when I entered the business again it was chaotic and loud. The environment was not soothing or safe sounding. at that time when I went to pick up my girls, I was notified that one of my girls was biting, which has never been an issue. Yes, they have been to other groomers. This is the first time that I have received this concern. If it did happen, I should have been notified that they could not complete the job due to the accusation about one of my girls biting. They should've just asked me to come pick them up that they could not follow through instead of keeping them there Their nails were not trimmed. Their haircut was very choppy, uneven, and the owner when I spoke to her she hung up on me. The owner said she used scissors instead of the shaver. I asked for their hair to be cut shaved short. when I spoke with the owner, she mentioned that "nipping and biting were the same thing like diarrhea and pooping are the same thing."I was flabbergasted ,so unprofessional.Who says that? I proceeded to ask the owner if the glands were cleaned out and the ears and the nails were visibly still long. She said yes it was done when visibly it has not been done. during my phone call with the owner she says I can't seem to appease you so this conversations going nowhere and then rudely hung up on me. The customer that paid for a service that she did not complete. I felt like I was walking into a California business just unorganized, chaotic, loud and unprofessional. I will be returning to the previous groomer. I was trying to support a friend who works there at her new job obviously that was the wrong choice for my babies.

We been here 2xs now & they do such a good job & are so friendly they are fast he never there more then 2hrs & their kennels are big & roomy

    Requested 1/2" long ??

Horrible!! When I picked up my Shih Tzu The owner told me a sad story of how overworked she was. She told me on the phone that the grooming would be $50. Now she said $55. I gave her $60 after listening to her sob story. When I got home and took a good look at my sweet dog, He was a disaster! I had given her a note with complete instructions that were not followed at all. He had a claw that was damaged and I told her to be careful with that claw. I asked her how he did with his claw clipping, She responded with, "Oh, I forgot to do his claws." Then she proceeded to clip them while her assistant held him. She did not even clip his back feet while she did it right in front of me. I called her and asked for a refund. She adamantly said, "NO!" I would not take my dog back the Funky Poodle Ever Ever Ever!! She could NOT even Shear Sheep!! I am questioning whether or not She even bathed Him??? She did, however, put perfume on his Head.

I called all the groomers in the area three days ago to try and get my dog in, squeezing this in between my rabid travel schedule I was not hopeful but I do believe in miracles LOL Today I received a phone call from The Funky Poodle and she asked if I still needed to get my dog done, and I said oh God yes. She said can you bring him in an hour? I was so happy!!! I brought him in and ddropped himoff and she said she would call me when he was done I was shocked at how fast I got ccalled back and kind of skeptical that they did it that quickly. When I went to pick up my baby ...... he looks amazing!!! Oh Wow!!!! they do an incredible job. He is so beautiful! I thought for sure they were going to have to shave his tail because of his dreadlocks from swimming in our pool. But they did not. If you are looking for kind and caring, knowledgeable Groomers who do stupendous work you definitely choose is Groomer, just need to stop in and meet Beth and her crew

Tired after lots of play and a bath.

I've taken my dogs here a number of times for grooming and today I tried the doggie day care. The actually let the dogs out to free play not just sit in a kennel. My two are exhausted and clean because they got a bath as well. Can't say enough good things about this place.

Heartbreaking Negligence - Avoid This Clinic…read more Rating: 1/10 (If I could give zero stars, I would) I am writing this review with a heavy heart to warn other pet owners. I took my dog here because I was convinced she was pregnant. Despite her weight gain and clear physical changes, the veterinarian dismissed my concerns, claiming it was just her body changing after her first heat cycle or perhaps a "phantom pregnancy." I explicitly pushed for an ultrasound to be sure, they took her back and I had to wait. She brought her back and said no there's no puppies because even by this time she should see sacks and didn't see anything the ultrasound was clear. A few weeks later, while I was out of town, my dog went into labor. My son called me in a panic because a puppy was partially stuck. After a desperate Sunday search for an open emergency vet, my girl ultimately did not survive. She was only carrying two puppies, but the complications were fatal. When I spoke to the office on Monday, the vet admitted, "It looks like she was pregnant after all." She tried to claim I brought her in too early, but based on the dates, she would have been five weeks along at the time of the initial exam well within the window to be diagnosed. The most insulting part was the lack of compassion. When I told the vet my dog had passed away, she said she was sorry and the line immediately disconnected/went silent. I called back twice and left a voicemail to give the office a chance thinking the call had dropped, but I never received a return call. If you love your pets and want a vet who listens to your concerns and stands by their work, do not go here. Their negligence and dismissive attitude cost me my dog's life.

They were kind and gracious. I can't thank them enough helping my baby cross over rainbow bridge.

Noah was a bundle of chaos, and Saint was well-behaved but needed some fine-tuning. After the training, they're both so much more responsive, well-behaved, and just easier to handle--especially with our 1-year-old baby around. Their confidence and obedience skyrocketed, and we've never felt closer to them. Plus, we learned how to keep up the training at home, which was super helpful! Never thought I'd be able to walk these big boys off leash and have them heel at my side. Bella and Fernando were professional, patient, and clearly love what they do. They kept us in the loop and gave us the tools we needed for success. If you're considering training, DO IT--you won't regret it!

Our dog died here July 5th, 2025. I can't give a rating on…read morehow they treated our dog because he didn't live through the weekend that we left him in their care, but I will write a review on how they handled the situation after. We got a call Saturday July 5th, 2025, around 9am that our dog had died an HOUR earlier. We rushed over to the facility and David Torres, who I assume is the owner or lead trainer, told us that our Frenchie had breathing complications and died. Not in the heat but in the air-conditioned area that they kept the dogs in. It made no sense to me because our dog would sleep with us every night in an AC controlled room. I asked to see the security footage because I wanted to rule out negligence on their part. David told me he would get the footage and asked if I could return later. I told him I wouldn't leave until I saw it with my own eyes. After a few hours David came back and said he needed to wait for their IT tech to return to retrieve any footage. My wife and I were furious and didn't know what to do since we were staying in town for the holiday weekend. David then offered to have our dog cremated locally but we refused. He also insisted and provided a WRITTEN PROMISE to provide us with ANY puppy we wanted. At the moment we didn't want to hear anything about another dog. We went to the store to buy a cooler and placed our Frenchie inside and started a 5-hour drive back home in silence. We were able to get him cremated locally by our home and David said he would take care of the bill. We paid out of pocket and sent David the receipt. David then promised he would mail out a check, but after almost 3 weeks nothing came. We had to reach out again, and a check finally arrived a few days later. After a few weeks of back and forth, David sent a message that EVERY camera that covered the area where our dog was staying had malfunctioned and had no footage of the incident AT ALL. It became extremely difficult to believe that no negligence had occurred after this... Back in December 2025 my wife and I were still feeling the emptiness in our home. We had gotten our Frenchie shortly after getting married. Since we have no children, our dog filled that void at times. I spoke to my wife about getting another dog and I remembered the written promise David made. I reached out to David and let him know what my wife and I wanted to get a puppy to be a family of three once again. He confirmed he received our request and we let him know we wanted an Australian Shepherd. Weeks went by and there were never any solid leads. He offered us an Australian Cattle Dog but I didn't want to accept that only because it was convenient. If we were going to get another dog, we wanted to be able to choose him, not have it forced on us. This is where things became very frustrating. For almost 5 weeks there was no response from David. Not only until I cc'd the support email did I get a response from David a few days later. He casually brought up that he had been in Texas for a month. I understand that for a business owner, something that happened months ago may not be a priority, but for my wife and I, it's something we get reminded of every day when we see our dog's toys in the laundry room. David then confirmed that they would most likely not be able to find us a dog and offered us $500 as an alternative. My wife and I were so tired of dragging this on that we agreed to the $500 so we could save up and get our own dog. David asked for my home address, which he would have had from the cremation check, and confirmed he would mail out a check via FedEx or UPS. Here we are 2 WEEKS LATER still with NO UPDATE from David or the support email. If you have a good relationship with this facility great. But if you're in town and looking for a place to entrust your pets consider another facility. The way David handled this situation was beyond unprofessional. I was hesitant to write this review because I wanted to give David the benefit of the doubt, but I guess it doesn't really matter to him. If anyone from the team responds to this review before the list of unanswered emailed it would just further my point of unprofessionalism.

Your response on Google proves my point--no accountability, just deflection…read more Let's be clear: your reply doesn't address any of the actual issues I raised. You still haven't pointed to a single written policy stating that a dog with fleas will be banned. You talk in circles about vaccines and "standards," yet completely ignore the fact that you have no clear intake protocol for checking dogs for fleas before boarding. My dog had no visible fleas, no itching, and had been vet-treated with a 30-day preventative just a week prior. I have documentation. But instead of doing your due diligence or even communicating like professionals, you chose to blame the customer and permanently ban my dog, a dog who had been coming to your facility for five years. That's not customer service. That's unprofessional damage control. And speaking of your response--if you can't use basic grammar or properly articulate your own policies, that says a lot about how you operate. Words were misused, statements were contradictory, and large parts of your message made no sense in the context of the issue. If you can't communicate clearly, how are customers supposed to trust your judgment or processes? Running a business requires more than just capacity--it requires competence. Your vague mention of "additional reasons" with no details is just a way to dodge responsibility. You claim to be the "largest facility in the Tri-State," yet failed to properly screen or manage a situation involving one dog. Being big doesn't mean being better--especially when it comes at the expense of accountability and transparency. You also mention the BBB, but the fact remains: you're not accredited. Not having complaints isn't a sign of quality--it just means people are turning to platforms like this because you don't handle concerns professionally. Your refusal to accept responsibility, your condescending tone, and your complete lack of a flea policy all speak volumes. You mishandled this situation from beginning to end. Other pet owners deserve to know exactly how you operate.
