I am heartbroken by the treatment my kitten received at Advanced Animal Care. Our sphynx kitten had a leg condition, and instead of improving her situation, the staff made a devastating mistake. They improperly splinted her legs, which not only failed to help but caused irreparable damage. Due to their negligence, our kittens condition is to the point that she will have to have both of her back legs amputated tomorrow morning. we trusted this clinic to care for our kitten and provide professional treatment, but they failed her completely. what was supposed to be a minor issue turned into a lifelong disabili for our kitten, and we are devastated by the outcome. the lack of proper attention and skill in handling her case is unacceptable, and I would urge anyone seeking care for their pets to think twice before bringing them here!

Today we took Nova to Urgent visit with Dr. Cartwright due to vomiting and not able to eat and very little water. I was a nervous wreck all night didn't sleep well. We are from Orange County and my dog has a vet, so you'll understand why I was nervous to take my dog to a new Veterinarian. Late last nite I looked up her business and reviews and was very impressed. Took her for her appointment today and I am beyond grateful and 100% satisfied with Dr. Cartwright and her staff. I also learned something new about my dog that her regular Vet never told me, Dr Cartwright is very thorough and was so sweet to my dog I couldn't help but snap some pictures of how comfortable my dog was with her I definitely will bring my dog here going forward. I Highly recommend Advanced Animal Care

I moved to this area w/ my best friend, Arcadia in 2013; she has a chronic blood disease that requires chemotherapy medication. The staff at Advanced Animal Care immediately took over her medical needs upon my move to Mohave Valley, and has taken great care of my sweet baby for the past 8 years. Tomorrow morning, after leaving her there for treatment/observation, I will more than likely have her euthanized. She has lived a full life (15 yrs) thanks to the tremendous care of this facility. Thank you, Advanced Animal Care. *UPDATE: Arcadia was euthanized this afternoon (7/15/2021) ** a special thanks to Amy, who offered all the time & support that I needed.

Poor Ditty 100% better now. Thank you Advanced Animal Care

This facility has the best staff. We have been with them for years. We did try others and none can compare.

I am incredibly disappointed with what happened with my dog today. I am grateful that you guys…read moretook her in for a gland expression, but when there was no issue there, the groomer immediately started trimming my dogs nails without asking! That was my first problem. Second problem is, the word trim could be replaced with HACKING. Indiscriminately using clippers on her black nails, which is already dangerous because it's hard to tell where the quick is, and lo and behold she cut at least one too short. Immediately there was blood, which she tried to say was HERS!! She wouldn't have told me if I hadn't seen it myself! Third and final strike. I said we do them at home, we use grinders, and was being ignored while listening to commentary that they were practically grown into her feet (give me a break). I just wanted to get my dog back so I tried not to throw a fit and that was my subtle way of trying to say "we do them, you dont need to". I am horrified by the fact that if I hadn't seen the blood that she tried to hide, she wouldn't have told me. I am just shocked by the lack of respect, care, and transparency - I know mistakes happen, but this could have been avoided. If she'd had the respect to ask about performing additional services on my dog before just deciding to do them (would have said no), been mindful of taking small snips once she took it upon herself to just do things I hadn't asked for (or switched to a grinder - standard practice for dogs with black nails), and after making this unfortunate mistake she should have told me what she did instead of trying to lie about it!! Even just from a veterinary care standpoint, I NEED TO KNOW! What foot, what nail(s)!? We all should hope that this was just a little knick and my little senior lady doesn't go lame or you will be hearing from me again.

He also didn't seem like himself and was clearly off. It makes me concerned that the animals may be left alone for most of the day on weekends. We chose boarding so our dog wouldn't be alone, but his condition when he returned was upsetting. He even growled at us, which is completely out of character for him. In addition, he had sores that lead us to believe he may have been attacked by other dogs. It's very distressing to think that our well-cared-for, trained, and loved dog may not have been treated with the same level of care. To the owner, If animals are not being cared for properly, this is not the right line of work for you. The environment is also extremely loud, making it difficult to communicate with staff you can barely even say your pet's name and be heard. To other pet owners it would be best you find another place to take your pet.

Heartbreaking Negligence - Avoid This Clinic…read more Rating: 1/10 (If I could give zero stars, I would) I am writing this review with a heavy heart to warn other pet owners. I took my dog here because I was convinced she was pregnant. Despite her weight gain and clear physical changes, the veterinarian dismissed my concerns, claiming it was just her body changing after her first heat cycle or perhaps a "phantom pregnancy." I explicitly pushed for an ultrasound to be sure, they took her back and I had to wait. She brought her back and said no there's no puppies because even by this time she should see sacks and didn't see anything the ultrasound was clear. A few weeks later, while I was out of town, my dog went into labor. My son called me in a panic because a puppy was partially stuck. After a desperate Sunday search for an open emergency vet, my girl ultimately did not survive. She was only carrying two puppies, but the complications were fatal. When I spoke to the office on Monday, the vet admitted, "It looks like she was pregnant after all." She tried to claim I brought her in too early, but based on the dates, she would have been five weeks along at the time of the initial exam well within the window to be diagnosed. The most insulting part was the lack of compassion. When I told the vet my dog had passed away, she said she was sorry and the line immediately disconnected/went silent. I called back twice and left a voicemail to give the office a chance thinking the call had dropped, but I never received a return call. If you love your pets and want a vet who listens to your concerns and stands by their work, do not go here. Their negligence and dismissive attitude cost me my dog's life.

Noah was a bundle of chaos, and Saint was well-behaved but needed some fine-tuning. After the training, they're both so much more responsive, well-behaved, and just easier to handle--especially with our 1-year-old baby around. Their confidence and obedience skyrocketed, and we've never felt closer to them. Plus, we learned how to keep up the training at home, which was super helpful! Never thought I'd be able to walk these big boys off leash and have them heel at my side. Bella and Fernando were professional, patient, and clearly love what they do. They kept us in the loop and gave us the tools we needed for success. If you're considering training, DO IT--you won't regret it!

From the initial consult all the way through graduate sessions they've been so educational, friendly, and supportive. They are priced competitively with other trainers in the area.
