Don't know who has a black labradoodle or large poodle but if your dog was at sugars on February 17, 2026 between 10:00am and 12:00pm a woman by the name of Mary was combing, cutting and blowing that gentle baby, while I waited for my 3 babies cause I don't leave them anywhere just because of things like this, she was blowing his hair with a hose that looks like one on a shop vac mary kept holding its head by its neck while using that hose close to its face and saying stay still, that poor baby kept moving its head because she kept putting that's damn hose only a few inches to it's eyes and nose then at one point got someone to hold the dog still while she kept doing that. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Please if you love your fur babies don't just drop them off you don't know what they do to them when you're not around.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I wonder how Mary would like it if someone did that to her, she needs to take that hose and put it to her face so she can see how hard it is to breathe read more

Sounds like a jet engine!! Scared my dog and loud noises don't usually bother him. I couldn't talk much to the groomer as my Springer spaniel was jumping all over me and I couldn't speak above the roar. She asked the right questions but l left feeling awful about leaving him. It's hard to find any groomer to do a cat. But she does and wonderful and complete job. Only place I will take our fur baby.

We are "snowbirds" who spend 6 months in Bullhead City and 6 months in Michigan. We have a groomer in our family who grooms our dogs when we are in Michigan and like most animal lovers, our main concern is that our pets are treated gently and kindly by their groomer. My Pekingese mix and my Bulldog always seem happy to see Mary and her staff and greet them with wagging tails, which leads me to believe that the caring way that they are treated in our presence doesn't change when we walk out the door. The pricing is right in line with what we're accustomed to paying to our Michigan groomer who is family. I'm always happy with the service as well. This is the best place to get your pups/doodles groomed. They were so awesome and gave me a lesson on how to keep my sheepadoodles nicely combed. This was the first cut that didn't make my pups look like a shaved rat. They did a beautiful job and the groomers themselves are very knowledgeable about the doodle breeds. Mowgli and Lucy weren't anxious when I picked them up. I highly recommend this place to groom!!!! read more

Shitzu's beards get dirty and stinky pretty quickly but when I take him here it seems to take a lot longer which is a good thing. I was actually happy to try another place, because the place I had gone before was not very gentle with our Chug and they were not very friendly! I have been to Sugars Grooming twice now and our dog has had no problem getting his nails trimmed! They are all very friendly! I will drive a couple more miles to take our dog to Sugars!
