Shopping on jeweler's row, this was our worst experience on the whole street. We came looking for a pendant for my mom and the young man helping us didn't know any of the prices, couldn't make any recommendations, and didn't know the selection. At one point, we picked out a very simple pendant that actually cost more somehow than the more complex and intricate ones, and we asked him how that could be possible. He told us he'd have to ask a manager.... but didn't call one over. He just sat futzing with the jewelry displays for at least 2 full minutes while we just stood staring at him. When we finally left in disgust, he cheerily reminded us of their hours and said he hoped we'd find something the next time we came. Definitely no next time for us!

Another diamond fall out within less than one year. This is very disappointing. I will be coming in tomorrow 4/23 for a full refund back.

After having the engagement ring for 2-3 months the ring crack on the back as if I drop or throw it really hard but I didnt. Went back to fix it. Its been 6months of owning the ring, one of the diamond fall out. Yes, they took care of me nicely, but the quality of the ring is very poor as if it was a fake gold.

My husband got a new wedding band for our 20 year anniversary. He's obviously very thrilled with the experience, lol. Thanks, Susie and CA!

I have been a customer of CA Jewelers for 23 years. They designed my engagement ring back in the late 90's and are currently working on resetting of my diamond into a new custom ring. My husband and I just happened to walk into their store when we started talking about getting married two decades ago, and we instantly knew we had met our jeweler for life. We have purchased other custom work from CA including the pearl and diamond earrings and necklace I wore on my wedding day, a diamond pendant, several pairs of earrings, and a wedding ring update for my husband after his Christian Bauer moving line wedding ring got so thinned down that it was cutting his finger. CA is a family run business with very warm and friendly customer service, competitive pricing, fair and honest business practices, and creative designs. I highly recommend calling or emailing and asking for Susie. You will feel like you are speaking with a knowledgeable friend. She is very open and giving of her time, and is not at all pushy. She will work within your budget and take time to explain options and show you lots of examples. She makes me feel like I am her most important customer. Don't let the Covid pandemic prevent you from pursuing a jewelry purchase, even a custom one. Susie and I have been working via phone and email during the pandemic, sharing photos and brainstorming ideas for a custom piece. I can't wait to see the final results and will come back and update this review with photos.

This jeweler was recommended to us. And we are SO glad it was! Susie Lam is awesome! She was really friendly, patient, and went above and beyond to make sure we were happy customers! On the first visit she cleaned my engagement ring for me so that it sparkled next to the wedding rings I was trying on. There wasn't anything I liked already made so I chose 3 rings and told Susie what I liked about each. She designed a custom made palladium wedding band with 26 full cut round diamonds set in a channel setting and fifty full cut round diamonds set on the profile in the channel setting, with a milgrained band. It was absolutely beautiful and I've had a lot of compliments on it. Cost: $2,500 My husband bought a palladium wedding band with a vertical brush in center and high polished edges. Cost: $1,400 After having shopped at some bigger name jewelry stores, we thought the cost was very reasonable. I highly recommend this jeweler!

As far as I can tell, this is a one-man operation that has been at this location for decades. You…read morearen't walking in to a traditional repair shop; this is an old school, paper work order, cash only type place. I brought in a cuckoo clock that had its winding chain slip from the gear. Within 2 days, it was working just like new, and the owner sent me on my way with a recommendation on how to avoid the issue in the future. Expect an efficient repair experience from someone who is rarely stumped by a mechanical problem. I had zero issues with the gentleman's temperament primarily because I read the room on how he has run his business for decades.

Very helpful and quick to repair. My watch battery was corroded so it needed a circuit replacement…read more Bill (employee/owner) took the time to show me the corroded battery before replacing and quoted me an up front price. I see some folks complaining about not giving a price over the phone - well what do you expect? Without knowing the situation or the exact model/issue how can one? That's like asking a plumber to quote you a price over the phone. Unless it's a water heater replacement or something - they don't give you one or say it's estimate only. Anyway - the watch was ready for pickup. Some said this store is not kind or impatient but Bill gladly took time explaining to me the issue (even though he already did), how to prevent it, and we chattered for a brief moment. He wished me a good day and I did the same and we parted ways. Couple other things to note. He does require you knock before letting you in and if you have business there you're fine to stay in the store. It's small so don't expect to wander about. I understand this - it's not a shop to walk around in or glance at items (I'm sure you can inquire about purchasing things in the window), and it's a one person run operation - so he doesn't have time to chatter or watch who is walking around or possibly shoplifting. Second, he asks for cash. Some say "Makes me wonder if it's fraud or he's not reporting to the IRS!" Okay tax auditor... since NOW you care about taxes all the sudden. Running a credit card line is not FREE, and if it's a self owned/small business, he may prefer cash. Also - many places upcharge for credit card. If you're concerned about a contract or something signed ahead of time, maybe go to a jeweler or a different shop that will put it on a card and you can sign a contract ahead of time to cover any damages once the repair begins. Know your vendor, people.
