They are known for their luxemburgerli but it was during the heat wave when we went and it was so hot that I wasn't in the mood for anything too sugary so I didn't get any to try which I really regret and would love to try them out next time I'm in town. Service was quite slow. We waited for over 15mins before we were seated even though there's tables available. And no one came to acknowledge us during that time as well. Next time when I return, I would probably opt to just pick up some luxemburgerli to go unless you're very tired and just want to find a place to sit down and rest.

I know how the fine pastry should taste, and theirs were above high standard. Their coffee was just right to compliment the fine pastry. The store's shelves were filled with freshly baked breads and pastries. I wanted to taste everything there, if possible. The cafe was very cozy, and clean. There were outdoor seatings to relax in shades, if the weather was nice. The location is very convenient for train riders as it's across the train station, and car drivers with enough parking spaces. I saw many customers come and go, to buy the goods or sit down for coffee and pastry. The locals must know how good this place is. I really liked the atmosphere and highly recommend to visit this place to experience what I am talking about.

I asked for the most popular flavor and the staff said "Oh, that's a difficult question". Ok, what's your favorite? She recommended champagne rose and rhubharb (both were very good). The other one I got was pistachio (which was just ok). I find the fillings to be quite creamy and there's quite a bit more cream in Luxemburgerli compared to regular macarons. Maybe that's the main difference? Overall, I find the staff to be polite and welcoming. Certainly worth the visit if you're in Zurich!

The prices were comparable to grocery store prices. The cafe served a variety of great lunch items. And of course you have to get a Lindt hot chocolate while there!

The Lindt Home of Chocolate is a chocolate museum located just outside of Zurich. You can get here…read moreby bus from the Zurich city center as well as by the ferry. We booked tickets online beforehand for 17 CHF per adult ticket. When you book a ticket you book for a specific time and they are pretty restrictive about it, so you should aim to be there at your scheduled time or you might be waiting around. During the tour we learned about the history of chocolate in Switzerland and how it became so well-known for it. We tasted different flavors from milk chocolate to dark chocolate, and at the end we got some freebies of various Lindt flavors. There's a cafe on-site where you can relax with a cup of coffee or their other chocolate offerings. There's also a gift shop where you can buy a variety of their chocolates. You can customize messages for free on the chocolates which is a nice touch for personalized gifts. I enjoyed the tour and especially trying the different chocolates. The tour wasn't too long unless you read every plaque or did the free audio tour.

It's right by the airport. (And by that I literally mean inside the airport). So, it's super convenient for souvenirs while you're traveling. They sell them by the weight and oh my goodness! Each one is a bite of heaven. We ended up buying almost twelve or so and worried that we might have bought way too many. But, we quickly learned there's no such thing as too many. They are simply divine. Just a little bit of crunch and gooey deliciousness. My favorite one was the Rose with Strawberries. (at least I think it was strawberries... chances are it could also be raspberries!) But, honestly, you can't go wrong with any of the options. Another unusual one I enjoyed was the Strawberry Rhubarb. The only thing I would warn you about is watiting to long to eat them. They're sooo good the first day or two, but get stale if you wait a week. So eat up! While you're here, don't forget to pick up some truffles too! Those are just as good as the luxembergeli, but luckily last much longer. I didn't try any of the unusual flavors, but all their chocolate was the bomb. The white chocolate truffles were absolutely my favorite of all. I wish I could say I'll be back soon, but I guess I might not be able to come back. But, anytime I'm near I'll definitely try to come back soon. For now, I might just have to settle with international delivery for special occasions.

This place offers freshly baked sweet delights and sandwiches that are so good. OMG!!! I ordered flakey pretzel roll with salmon. It was simple, quick bite, but by far, one of my favorite salmon sandwiches I've had in such a long time. If you're a salmon lover, be sure to stop by for quick bite. Only bad thing I would say about this place is when you first come in through glass doors, to the right... deliciousness danger zone. They offer so many amazing, freshly baked pastries that is really tempting to order one of each. You do need to have will power to control yourself lol.
