We got a chicken bacon ranch wrap and a Brisky Burger that comes topped with that slow cooked brisket. And the cactus tails (onion strings) and cheese curds on the side. I mean doesn't that already sound like a killer selection of food...in just one meal! Postscript: the burger is to die for excellent; Not so much the wrap, although the avocado salsa makes it good. The cheese curds have never been my thing, but these are great and the onion straws are delish too. Oh and the final thing...light lemonade with no-sugar strawberry sauce...wow!

I was raving about the brisket stacker, lemonades, and the cheese curds. When we arrived, it looked just the same, but definitely a bit worse for wear. A lot of the murals on the walls are dinged and need some TLC. The bathroom was honestly pretty gross too. Our service was good and attentive. The drinks were exactly what I remembered. The cheese curds were even better than when I remembered. But the brisket stacker felt wrong. The brisket was cut differently and honestly was a bit tough, and you used to be able to put on any bbq sauce since all the sauces were on the table, but this was prepared with another barbecue sauce. Did I have fun? Yes, was it hard for the memories not to match in my head? Totally. Will I be back to Rexburg? Probably not.

They are a South Carolina inspired bbq and they did not disappoint!! I tried the bbq chicken, tri tip, and brisket and everything was awesome!! My favorite was the chicken, they smoke it for 5 hours and use both dry and wet rub. It was flavorful with nice texture and mouth feel. Not dry or over seasoned. The tritip hit more like a traditional brisket and the brisket more like pulled pork, but high notes all round. Of the sides I tried, between the potato salad, coleslaw, and fries, the fries were the star of the show!! I shared the platter with 3 other adults and a toddler and we were all impressed!! The service was lightening fast, and even the herbivore toddler loved the meat! This was truly a pleasant surprise and well worth a gander!!

Their fries are very good, I call them shoe string fries and their steak burgers were awesome too!! I was surprised to see fried pickles and I had to get that. It was very good. The batter wasn't too doughy and I like the green dipping sauce. For entrée, I got twelve skewered shrimp grilled with onion straws. Shrimp was great but the onion straws was very oily and overly fried! Good thing my sister ordered the Sunshine Quinoa Salad so we are not just eating a bunch of fried food. The salad portion was very generous. Our waitress was very sweet and attentive.
