Byron burger with sweet potato fries and a banana milkshake
    Katie H.

I have never been to a Burger restaurant and went with my friend to be convinced how delicious they taste. I wasn't being disappointed. I had the Byron burger, Sweet Potato fries on the side and a banana milkshake. I was super full and happy afterwards. The bacon in the burger was a great add-on. We didn't have to wait long for the menu and food to arrive. We sat in a quiet corner but it wasn't loud anyway in the restaurant, so the eating experience was very nice. The staff was friendly and competent and I will definitely come back to eat myself through the menu. :D Great experience! Highly recommend.

Went to Heathrow Airport, via Uber, with my son who was traveling to Miami. Took the underground, the subway to us New Yorkers, back to Hammersmith station. LOL. Met the family for lunch at Byron. Located near Kings Street in downtown Hammersmith. Ordered a classic burger well done. Very juicy and well prepared. The side order of Cole slaw was good. Very little mayo well made. Will return. Good burger.

The layout of the Byron restaurant was interesting with the interior decorated and set out to mimic an old-style American diner. The restaurant also featured table service which was pleasant and professional at the Hammersmith location. We were greeted at the door and seated within seconds of entering and given ample time to peruse the menu. While their menu is not extensive they cover the range of basic burger combinations. In the end I settled for the Cheese, which came with the description of 'choose from mature Cheddar, American, smoked Cheddar, Monterey Jack, blue cheese or Emmenthal. Served with lettuce, tomato, red onion and mayonnaise.' I opted for a classic cheddar to see what it was all about. The meat patty was nice, of a good thickness. The vegetables were all fresh and good amounts used. The sauce was not overdone and the bun was fresh. However I was not overly sold and the burger felt it was too safe, missing that 'wow' factor that the burgers patties back home had. I had nothing against it and polished the entire thing off but did not feel the need to rush back for another one.

I had lunch here with a friend today, the burgers were delicious and juice and the service was awesome. Nice waitstaff and our food arrived pretty quickly. The prices aren't bad. If you find d yourself in Hammersmith def give it a try.

Macaroni cheese is a waste of money. Tasted just like the Sainsburys Value version. No taste and didn't even have the right type of pasta.

However, I found myself being thrown out with the rubbish after finishing my meal, and although I keep hanging on, still there's no real explanation for such a measured response to the student exchange and optional extras people can't wait to order. London has become a brewery for once-in-a-lifetime retreats and if you enjoy the revolution of gastronomic culture, you'll most definitely enjoy this concrete halal restaurant which offers the best in a thriving burger industry. I am obliged by the good service.

It gives the people in Hammersmith a slight glimpse into one of the best cities in the world. This place was within walking distance from our hotel and one of the only places that stayed open late. Our first night finding it, they were closing. Once we told them we were from Chicago, they were pleased to service us. They fired up the grills and got to cooking. There were 4 of us total and they made sure to live up to our cities great name by serving quality eats. We tried just about everything on the menu, seeing us how we ate here 4-5 times throughout the duration of our stay. Being from Chicago you become spoiled when it comes to dining out and cuisine because there are so many great options. London, ehh not so much. The food here at several restaurants was bland and disappointing. Burger and Lobster was great. Outside of that this place saved our asses or else I probably would've just had to survive on fruits and water for the remainder of our trip.

Chosen Bun is a burger take-away and delivery shop located in Fulham. Their concept is simple: do a good burger, and make sure it will still taste good after it was driven around town. To solve the challenge of transporting a burger properly, they designed special packaging. I noticed this little shop on Fulham Road one evening when I decided to walk part of my commute instead of taking the tube. And soon after that, I came back to check out their burger. The shop looks very much like a fancy fast food restaurant. Staff are very friendly and it seemed that the atmosphere in the kitchen was really good. To the food, I ordered The Shoveman, a beef burger with cheese and bacon, with Belgians, that's their chunky skin-on chips with rosemary salt. After a short while, my food was ready and handed to me in their signature packaging - I stayed in store, but it was still interesting to see what they came up with. The burger tasted pretty good. It was not too messy to eat, the juicy patty was cooked medium and the burger was full of delicious flavours. The chunky chips were okay, but I had better chips in London. They are chunky and crispy, but not all are crispy. They are finished with rosemary salt, but they are far from other rosemary chips I've tasted before. Anyway, there are still some other interesting items on the menu that I'd like to try. As of now, they only deliver to a few post codes around the Fulham area, so in case you plan to stop by to pick up your burger, Chosen Bun is roughly between Fulham Broadway Underground station and Parsons Green Underground station.

The chicken wings were superbly tender as the meat literally fell off the bone with just a touch. Choose from three flavours to suit your fancy. Dipping sauce costs extra. Onion rings were good but could use a little work on the breading to onion ratio. Their burgers are delicious with a plump bun, thick patty and right amount of toppings. They offer a selection of beef, chicken and mushroom burgers along with creative sides like fried mac and cheese. Along with a handful of craft milkshakes, I will be dining here again.

Sometimes there is nothing better than a great burger meal…read more Recently, I was craving just such a meal. In London, there are many choices available for burgers. There are burgers which are honest, dirty and gourmet. There are also burgers that are fast and cheap - but not great. There are others that are great - but not even close to possible if on a budget. But yesterday, I found a place that was worth the search - and the long walk that I took get back to where I found it. Because what I found was a great burger meal, at a great price! I found Joe & Co. I was spending the day on North End Road in South West London in search of a few things that I knew I could find in the neighbourhood. Early on during my shopping I spotted what I thought looked like a great "burger joint". And much later when hunger pains were slowing me down I decided to retrace my steps back to where I thought I had spotted it. The walk back turned out to be longer than I expected, but I soon realised it had been worth the walk and the effort, as what I had spotted proved to be exactly what I was looking for. As what I found was Joe & Co., where I enjoyed what is probably the best burger meal I've had in London for ages! The greeting when I walked in was friendly and enthusiastic. I was invited to, and did, spend some time looking over the selection of burgers, chicken and hotdogs on offer, before settling on what I hoped would be a great cheeseburger and fries meal. I was offered the chance to "have it my way" with a choice of lettuce, onion, pickle and tomato toppings and I said yes to everything. I sat down at the clean and appealing diner retro table and didn't have to wait to long for my choice to be brought to the table. It looked amazing and tasted even better. In addition to the toppings the burger came with, there is a generous choice of additional sauces available at the table - and not in those nasty little packages that I usually struggle to open and usually end up spraying as much on myself as on the burger. The burger was perfect and the fries were some of the best I have ever had. It was, as hoped, a great burger meal. And at a very reasonable price. As I was finishing up, I was asked by, (as it turned out) the owner of Joe & Co, who is actually and reassuringly called Joe, how my meal had been and I offered my compliments and congratulations for a great meal. He was obviously genuinely pleased and interested in my comments, telling me that they had been open only a short time and the efforts being made to provide the best meal with the best ingredients. I told him that he was succeeding entirely! I hope Joe & Co does well, as it deserves to. It's a bit further down North End Road from some of the trendier and more glam spots that are found in the area, but just as it was worth a bit of a walk for me to go back and enjoy the treat that I hoped to find, I can assure anyone else that they won't regret taking a few more steps and building up even more of a hunger for what Joe & Co has to offer. I'll be back again soon for another chance to enjoy the best burger on offer in London.
