We left it overnight, went back to pick it up he was nowhere in sight. Although he knew that she was coming to pick her car up. No phone no text no email. Finally I texted him that I needed some work on my car and I was in the area and he picked up the phone. Now mind you he hadn't picked up the phone for my niece for the last at least hour. I handed her the phone his explanation was, that his phone had been broken he told me the screen was broken and he couldn't see who called was calling. When he finally arrived at the shop, I asked him what the problem was he said his phone had broken he showed me a phone that was off, but there was no broken screen. I asked him was he done as he had been supposedly working on the car since the day before. Usually replacing in power steering pump is a one to two hour job for a good mechanic he said he was bleeding the system I saw no hoses or anything anywhere the problem came when I requested the old part which we never got. Also we had to come back for the car which was supposedly bleeding. The next day while driving the vehicle it start to smoke and they were flames. We found out later the distributor was loose. Apparently someone had bumped the distributor and the carburetor, and that was leakage from the gas or other fluid flammable no less. I'll be very Leary of taking my vehicle to such a dismissive repair shop and I use the term loosely. The customer service is nonexistent. And after I asked about the part that he supposedly removed I was told GET THE F OUT REPEATEDLY. Needless to say there was a verbal altercation that almost got really bad. This man has no respect for his customers their autos do not leave your car in this man's care. Do not trust what he says is wrong with your car. According to the automobile bureau, a customer has the right to receive the removed part. We are taking our vehicle to the automotive repair bureau in rancho Cordova, to be inspected for proper repair. To be forewarned is to be armed.

My vehicle had been…read morehaving intermittent starting issues for about 4 months, and last week, my car up & died while I was driving, thankfully after 20 or so minutes it started & I was able to drive home. I took it to a mechanic (No Name) here in CH and they billed me $210.00 and couldn't locate the issue, so I brought it home. Well, this past Saturday my car wouldn't start, so I was told by a very good friend that I take it to TN3 Automotive, which I did (Had my car towed) on Tuesday. I'd previously contacted the owner, Tom, informing him my car was being towed to his shop, and so he took basic information regarding what types of issues I'd been experiencing, which I provided. I met Tom the following day, and he was genial, kind, listened intently, and just a solid individual through & through. He exudes honesty & integrity, and assured me he'd locate the issue, and he did just that. The thoroughness of his Teams assessment of my vehicle, every part captured by clear photos that included a specific narrative of my car parts issue, and whether it was deemed an emergency fix, or just watch & keep an eye on it was noted, & reassuring. Not once did he advise that I needed this or that done to my vehicle, but clearly enunciated in line of priority things I should take care of. Ended up being a PGMFI Main Start Relay why my car wouldn't start. Out the door for $340.00. Car is running excellent!! I have very high expectations of service providers, and he exemplifies the highest of integrity & standards!! Tom is your guy, I challenge you to use he & his team's expertise, you will not be disappointed.

5-STAR REVIEW -- TOS AUTO, CITRUS HEIGHTS, CA…read more I want to take a moment to recognize and sincerely thank the entire team at TOS Auto, 5916 Auburn Blvd., Citrus Heights, CA 95621, for their amazing workmanship, dedication, professionalism, and leadership. A special thank-you goes to Gary, the Manager and Service Advisor, who went above and beyond throughout what became an extremely complicated insurance claim. Gary was not only knowledgeable and professional--he was patient, compassionate, and truly became an advocate for me throughout the entire process. A little background on my situation: I was driving on the freeway when a diesel trailer hitch came off a big rig directly in front of me. I had no way to avoid it and unfortunately ran over it, causing extensive damage underneath my Infiniti Q50. Almost everything underneath the vehicle was affected. The accident was just that--an accident. What followed, however, became a five-month battle with my insurance company. I have been a State Farm customer for more than 44 years, since I was 16 years old, so I was extremely disappointed with the way my claim was initially handled. The claims representative challenged virtually every estimate and attempted to reduce the amount being paid for the repairs. There were also disagreements over the quality of parts being authorized and additional damage that was discovered during the repair process. This is where Gary and the TOS Auto team made all the difference. Gary worked directly with State Farm, continually providing documentation, estimates, supplemental information, and the evidence necessary to support the repairs my vehicle actually needed. When additional problems were discovered during the repair, he continued advocating for the proper repairs and worked through the supplemental process. Most importantly, Gary kept me informed every step of the way. His communication was exceptional. He gave me the information and documentation I needed so that I could better understand and articulate my position with the insurance company. After more than five months, the claim was finally resolved, with State Farm ultimately approving the necessary supplemental repairs, minus my deductible. I cannot say enough about the professionalism, workmanship, patience, and dedication demonstrated by Gary and the entire TOS Auto team. Gary treated my situation with empathy and genuinely cared about getting my vehicle repaired properly--not simply getting it out the door. If you're looking for a shop that provides quality workmanship, fair and reasonable service, excellent communication, and a team that will stand behind you when dealing with a difficult insurance claim, I highly recommend checking out TOS Auto in Citrus Heights. Gary and the entire TOS Auto staff--THANK YOU! You have earned a customer for life! Galen James

I had him troubleshoot, an air-conditioning problem. Conduct an oil change, rotate the tires and do a brake flush. They advised me that all vehicles are stored in protected lot with a tall barbed wire fence so it will be very secure. They did an amazing job and they did a nice job communicating the progress and final results. The price was very reasonable and they even washed the truck for me! I will back for all my auto repair needs.

First, I have to say that Keiran , one of the service managers, has always been very friendly and…read morehelpful. ASR was my "go-to" for about 4 years, and , generally, saved me money on most simple services for my 1997 Jag. ASR actually replaced tail light bulbs and would do a pre-trip inspection, and shuttle home if necessary, without charge. I simply do not have a deep pocket that the Jaguar dealer's service dept requires, and I am suspicious of all repair shops, all genres. In March, I experienced dash warning lights and obvious erroneous engine temp gauge readings("dummy" gauge). ASR did some necessary repairs, but I was dissatisfied with the information they supplied about additional work and questioned their expertise in continuing to work on the car, as this car has some quirks and even is different from later '97s. .....which I reminded them of several times. Bottom line; their inexperience with this particular car resulted in some things that were done incorrectly and which could have caused serious damage(wrong wrong wrong radiator hose clamps). Made no mention of BAD motor mounts. AND left dents in upper fender near hood seam, both sides(obvious to me even that it was from a tech leaning on fender). I did not take it back after discovering the issues, my bad move there, but I had contacted them through two different emails, with details.... apparently they didn't receive one of those. And the one they did get, their reply went to my "junk mail", so I did not see it and assumed they were ignoring me. Eventually, I did send them photos of the dents, etc, and they DID then ignore me. My insurance would not cover it, given they would need one claim for each fender, but also filing a claim would cause my rate to go up. I did take my car to an "indie" Jag/Rover shop, for remaining repairs.... Pricier but more knowledgeable, which will give me piece of mind. Probably ASR is a competent shop for average cars, just not my car.
