We promptly returned it, they offered us a smaller model, we accepted it and returned home once again to find it was also broken!! The pull string was not even attached. The manager gave us a full refund and refused to do anything more to fix rectify the situation. After loading and unloading, picking up and returning twice, we got no where, lost out on 3 hours of our day while my husband was off and able to do it. We have faithfully rented there for 10 years!! A regional manager contacted us after my review of the location which we rented from and offered us a full day free rental. I felt like they handled it appropriately and I will continue to rent from their establishment for years to come. It's sad the store manger did not test the equipment, but at a regional level, their customer service was top notch.

I was in the Ace Hardware store in Calcutta Ohio to drop off UPS packages. I saw a man with an Ace…read moreHardware shirt on. He seemed to be upset with a young man who was working with him. The older man was loudly scolding him in the middle of the isle which I found disturbing. I went on to observe the situation noting that the older man had a "Make America Great Again 45 - 47" ball cap on. I asked the young man helping me with my UPS package if I could speak with the MOD. He told me the man I had been observing was the MOD. The young man asked me if he could help me. I said I thought it was inappropriate that an employee was making a political statement. I am aware that Ron Graff Jr. owns the franchise to the store and said that I would be notifying him. He remarked, "Mr. Graff was just in the store and didn't say anything to him." There is plenty of hardware competition very close to this store. I will not be shopping this store any longer until the management makes it known to the employees that advertising one's political views is unacceptable while wearing an Ace Hardware uniform.
