Is your massage therapist a LMT & NMT? For over two years (arthritis, neck & L5-S1 problems),…read moreJoAnn Speranza has witnessed me heal. Most people do not understand how weekly massages helps keep you healthy and can promote faster healing for aging and injuries, when combined other contributors. I was told I could not get better, but only worse and the degeneration would eventually require surgery. This month I am being discharged from physical therapy at Mayo Clinic. At one point I had to spend several months using a cane, walking sticks and at times, even a wheelchair. If you do the research, you will see how science supports what happened to me: Mayo Clinic describes neuromuscular massage as: "Specialized manipulation of muscles, tissues and joints that increases circulation, rids the body of harmful toxins, boosts the immune system, soothes aching muscles, reduce pain, and decreases stress and swelling." For over 30 yrs. Joanne has dedicated her life and a career with a love of massage and healing. She is the first therapist I have had that I totally have faith in and I have have around a dozen therapists for long term treatments. If you are looking for deep, painful treatments, go someplace else. Her style combines a firm touch with therapeutic maneuvers I do not fully understand, but I reap the benefits of less pain and more freedom that gets progressively better all the time. I also do believe that JoAnn is especially gifted in what she does, professionally and spiritually. Obviously, if you are an atheist, you can just ignore the last comment.

She was always mindful of our aches, pains, and limitations as she helped us modify to within our comfort zone. I referred the friend to the Parkhursts, because it was hard to see her in so much pain. They were very kind and gracious to her. It turned out to be a very fortuitous idea, because it worked out well for the friend. I would later refer my husband to them. Dr. Amberly Parkhurst personally called me to check up on my husband after his first appointment...to see if the adjustment helped his back pain. That act of kindness meant a lot to me. I, also, have received superb massage therapy from their stellar staff member, Andrea. Setting up an appointment has always been very quick. My adjustments were always done very efficiently and with attention to detail. We have referred them to friends for about eight years. I went to their new place of business this year recently. Their new office building was easy to find and well furnished. Their waiting room and lobby were spacious, minimal, comfortable, and provided coffee and water for clients. I liked the quiet , welcoming, and peaceful ambience. On that visit, I found out that my rib was dislocated and the reason why I was experiencing a lot of mysterious pain. It was a relief to finally find out what the problem was and to have it resolved that day. It was adjusted by Dr. Mike Parkhurst with great efficiency. I am very grateful.

When you book on the website, you can tailor your session based on your needs. My massages with Allie were simply the best. I have had her as my therapist many times. She makes sure that my profile reflects my current needs. On to the massage....Allie used just the perfect pressure during the session and really alleviated the muscular tension that I had. She routinely checked back with me to ensure that we were on the right path! Saddest part of the session was when it was over What a fab facial with Teresa! She did an oversight of my skin, asked questions about my own routine, and went on to give me an amazing skin session. I also had some enhancements- eyes and neck - to add to the overall success of the facial. I was sooo thrilled about these two practitioners that my husband uses them also! We also joined the Massage Envy program. You can use the monthly sessions wherever there is an ME! You don't use them one month, they simply roll over to the next. GREAT deal for busy people or those who travel. Trust me...I have been to many high end spas. Billy and his team greatly surpass them. They are professional and dedicated to their profession.
