Most people do not understand how weekly massages helps keep you healthy and can promote faster healing for aging and injuries, when combined other contributors. I was told I could not get better, but only worse and the degeneration would eventually require surgery. This month I am being discharged from physical therapy at Mayo Clinic. At one point I had to spend several months using a cane, walking sticks and at times, even a wheelchair. If you do the research, you will see how science supports what happened to me: Mayo Clinic describes neuromuscular massage as: "Specialized manipulation of muscles, tissues and joints that increases circulation, rids the body of harmful toxins, boosts the immune system, soothes aching muscles, reduce pain, and decreases stress and swelling." For over 30 yrs. Joanne has dedicated her life and a career with a love of massage and healing. She is the first therapist I have had that I totally have faith in and I have have around a dozen therapists for long term treatments. If you are looking for deep, painful treatments, go someplace else. Her style combines a firm touch with therapeutic maneuvers I do not fully understand, but I reap the benefits of less pain and more freedom that gets progressively better all the time. I also do believe that JoAnn is especially gifted in what she does, professionally and spiritually. Obviously, if you are an atheist, you can just ignore the last comment.

When you book on the website, you can tailor your session based on your needs. My massages with Allie were simply the best. I have had her as my therapist many times. She makes sure that my profile reflects my current needs. On to the massage....Allie used just the perfect pressure during the session and really alleviated the muscular tension that I had. She routinely checked back with me to ensure that we were on the right path! Saddest part of the session was when it was over What a fab facial with Teresa! She did an oversight of my skin, asked questions about my own routine, and went on to give me an amazing skin session. I also had some enhancements- eyes and neck - to add to the overall success of the facial. I was sooo thrilled about these two practitioners that my husband uses them also! We also joined the Massage Envy program. You can use the monthly sessions wherever there is an ME! You don't use them one month, they simply roll over to the next. GREAT deal for busy people or those who travel. Trust me...I have been to many high end spas. Billy and his team greatly surpass them. They are professional and dedicated to their profession. WHO KNEW THAT PALM COAST WOULD HAVE SUCH A GEM??? Go visit them and look at the holiday deals that they have.....you'll be oh so happy that you did

This is also the special place where my husband asked me to marry him in 2016. The owner, Heather, is so friendly and generous. Everything is made to order and the spreads are always incredible. One of the best perks about the Inn! It's romantic and relaxing all rolled into one vacation. The customer service from each lady at the Inn is outstanding. They truly care about your vacation and constantly check in to make sure you're more than happy with your stay. Heather even made hot tea for my husband one day and brought it out to him by the pool. So kind. Our air conditioner had an issue one night and we were promptly given a key to another room where we could sleep for the night. Heather had maintenance out the next morning and the issue was taken care of quickly. We have stayed in the Flamingo room and the Serenity room all times we've been here. These are the only two rooms located in the spa building and the heated mineral pool is right outside their doors. We love The White Orchid Inn and Spa and already look forward to the day when we return. The ladies really made our trip special this time around and we are grateful for that.
