I…read morecalled them today and their quote was very high, but as I told them they are allowed to charge what they like but it was not in my budget. I was not mad at it. The problem came in when they wanted to see if they could get it lower. The first guy had the audacity to tell me he expects smarter decision making from someone in criminal justice on not going with the lower priced company. Not a cool statement on my intelligence but I let it slide. I was willing to talk to the "manager" as he suggested to see if the price could come down some and it did but not enough. I again am fine with; they were pushing me not me pushing them. If that is their price that is their price it is just too high. It is OK! So when I said the lower quote I had from another company, she said there was just no way. Again, I am fine with this. The problem came in when I told her 1 guy loaded my apartment and unloaded it in just 4 hours (I do not own much) and she said "Are you sure it was 1 guy?" What is that suppose to mean? That I was lying or hallucinating when I moved and do not recall who moved me 2 years ago?? I said that was highly offensive and ended the call.

But after meeting John, Steve, and Julius my initial worries were put at ease! How they were able to move so much so quickly still boggles my mind b/c I'm pretty sure it took 6+ friends at least 3 days to get my stuff moved in in the first place...LOL. Before the move, John called to verify my location, drop off location, start time, furniture/box estimated count, and a good contact number; he was very adamant about wanting to start early if possible - Sounded Great to me! Company Policy is for a 3-hr minimum move & they got it done!! 2-bdrm apartment on the 3rd floor to a storage unit in just under 3 hours...INCREDIBLE Work Ethic!! John, Steve, and Julius were all very friendly, funny, hard working, and considerate towards wrapping up my furniture correctly to avoid possible damages. Shrink wrap and moving blankets were provided to help get the job done. In all honesty, I had such a great 1st impression with hiring Aussie Movers, I will definitely use them again to move into my next place! Like I said before, this was my 1st time using a moving company, so I was definitely unsure what to expect, but now I do; and they set the bar High. I like that! If you're still a little "If-fie" about it, that's understandable but I am definitely going to recommend them to my friends!! Ask for John, Steve, & Julius!

John, Jeremy and Josh were not only the best movers but they worked together as an amazing team. It's quite rare you find 3 friendly movers, when you're coming from the 3rd floor, in the middle of Texas heat. I would recommend this business to any and everyone. As a single mom, pregnant at 8 1/2 months, this group of guys were amazing and the price was even better!!!!!

We've had our fun with contractors and various people but we are very happy with the work Lavern and Antonio completed yesterday.
