When I was unexpectedly home a day before the appointment, I called and Matt came that afternoon. He investigated and found the hole to the crawlspace. A trap was set and we had Bucky the groundhog the next day. Matt closed up the hole for us. When we heard it again a few days later, Matt came back. There was nothing, so we think Bucky's SO escaped for good. Matt is responsive, responsible, changed his schedule when I asked if he could come a day early and he got the critter. Pest control isn't something we think about, but when we needed it, we were more than pleased with Matt's service. Pricing was reasonable and the process was simple. We'll use Upstate Pest & Wildlife Control again if needed and we highly recommend.

It was time to call a wildlife specialist. The positive reviews I was reading for Upstate Pest & Wildlife Control were convincing enough for me to call them. They were able to schedule a visit for the next day. Jake from UPW&C (no relation to Jake from State Farm) arrived on time and assessed the situation. He was friendly, very informative, and knowledgeable. The cost for the services he proposed and explained was reasonable. He was able to set traps that same day. Jake returned after a couple of days to check the traps. While the traps had not caught anything yet, and we hadn't heard critters any longer in the ceiling, he made modifications and adjustments to the traps and planned another visit the following day. Today, after assuring that there were no more squirrels in the soffits, and no new points of entry, he removed the traps and sealed the soffit hole. (Note: one trap did have part of a squirrel's tail.) I definitely recommend this family owned business if you have problems with wildlife pests. Their entire operation is very professional and reassuring.

After we discovered a squirrel had made its way into our attic through two different spots in the roof. I began searching for help and found All Seasons Wildlife Removal. Lloyd, the owner, was out at our home within a day or two of my first call. Lloyd is an absolute professional. Extremely polite, easy to talk to, and kept my wife and me informed throughout the entire process. He set up traps at both entry points and caught the intruder, but what really impressed me was the repair work. He went above and beyond and didn't just "trap it and leave," he even went to Lowe's to get supplies needed to fix the damage on both sides of the roof for good. He replaced about 8-10 feet of soffit on one side and added flashing to the other to seal everything up properly. The quality of the work was excellent, and the price was very reasonable for the amount of labor and materials involved. By this time it was about 5:30 am. He answered the call right away. I explained that I had a bat in my house and had taken the necessary steps to try to get it out but was unsuccessful. He asked me if I was sure if the bat was still in the house i replied yes its still in the house. He said ok and asked where I lived. I told him the city and he said that it was going to be about $150 for him to come out. I said that it was fine and that I would pay what ever. He came to my house and when he arrived I explained where I saw the bat last and where I thought it was. He looked around my living room and around my family room. He looked behind my blinds and my curtains downstairs. He looked at the stairs but did not go upstairs and look up there. He came back out and said that by now the bat is sleeping. Then he said that the time to call him would have been when the thing was flying around not after as if he was scolding me. Then he said that when I got comfortable back in the house if the bat flies again to call him. I became very upset that he was going to leave with out looking for the bat further. I told him there was no way that I could get comfortable with a bat still in my house and then he tried to tell me that I would have to get comfortable in the house and I told him that there was no way that I could sleep with a bat still in there. Then he said if the bat comes out to call him. I tried to explain that I didn't want to go back in my house. I would rather take my dog and sleep in the car. He said "no, you have to get comfortable in the house because then how are you going to know when the bat flies". Although he made sense i was way too petrofide to be in my house. Then he said that I did not need the blanket over my head. He was really rude. He said let me go get my business card for you. I started to cry because this bat was still in my house and he was going to leave. He came back from the car and handed me his business card. He tried to show me the vent that goes to my attic and show me the bat poop. Although I listened I didn't want to hear it because this bat was still in my house and that's what I was more worried about. He tried to tell me that this is what he does for a living and then asked what I did for a living. I became really upset and said it didn't matter. He got angry and started to leave. I said well what do I owe you and he said nothing. He got in his pick up truck slammed the door and left. I clearly was awake all day and stayed in the kitchen. 9:39pm. came and the bat began to fly again in the house. I called Joshua again and he didn't answer so I left him a message. About an hour later I called again and left another message. He still didn't answer me. Called again at like 11:18pm. this time I was hysterically crying and left him a message begging him to please come and get this bat. He ignored me again. Called him again at like 12:13am still crying again begging him to come and again got ignored. Then I called back at like 12:45am and realized that he had blocked me from calling so I started calling him back to back. IF YOU OWN A BUSINESS YOU SHOULD NOT BLOCK YOUR CUSTOMERS. THAT IS BAD BUSINESS. I'm also going to call the better business bureau and report him. I am seriously traumatized from the ordeal. Do not call this guy.
