I called many times and he didn't answer. I left many messages and he did not respond. I called from other phone numbers, he would answer and then hang up when I started to speak. In May, my husband finally got a hold of him. He said his well machine was broken. It would be fixed next week and he would call us. He did not call. So, I kept calling him and every week he would say "next week", AND that is if he even answered. July. We wanted our money back. We needed to move on with our home renovations... When my husband finally got a hold of him, he gave us a check for the deposit, but said there was no money there yet, so "don't deposit it, until I say." and that money would be there next week. I would call each week to see if I could deposit. He wouldn't answer. One day, he finally answered and said "Stop calling. I will call you when the money is there." He never called... It is now August. Will not recommend Bill.

We woke up to a nightmare scenario on Christmas Eve morning - no water coming from my parents'…read morefaucets. My parents live out in the country (in Montgomery County) and thus aren't connected to any city water supply, with a ground water well that goes down ~235 feet. We had a Christmas Eve party planned for later that evening, followed by a big day with family on Christmas. But without any water, we were completely screwed - I thought we were going to have to call an audible and transfer everything over to my sister's house, which would be less than ideal. Moreover, we didn't know how bad the situation was - there was a drought over the summer of 2024, so we worried our well might have run dry. This had already happened to my parents ground water well back in 1984, forcing them to re-drill the well over 100 feet deeper (a major undertaking for anybody who's gone through this). Given that it was Christmas Eve, we didn't know if anybody would be available to help us; but fortunately, my Dad was able to get ahold of C.S. Garber & Sons in Douglassville, who sent a crew out to us immediately. Shawn and Aidan got to my parents' house around 9 AM, quickly diagnosed the problem, and got to work right away. They determined we had plenty of water in our well (i.e. it didn't go dry) but weren't getting any current from the well pump, which had finally stopped working after 48 years. They got their equipment setup and started pulling the old pump out, which got stuck halfway, leading us to wonder if the well had collapsed. Fortunately, with Aidan's strong frame pulling, they eventually got the pump jarred loose - most likely a large rock was in the way. They even had a brand new ¾ horsepower pump in their work truck, which is exactly what my father wanted to replace our old 1/2 horsepower pump with. Got the new pump hooked up, placed back down into the well and working in no time. They were done before noon and we had zero issues thereafter. Shawn and Aidan are real-life superstars that quite literally saved our Christmas! Can't recommend these guys enough if you're having water issues or an emergency at your house or business.

As a fellow local business owner (Foundation Homes of CNY), I've thought long and hard before…read moreposting this review. I'm sharing it to warn other homeowners and industry professionals. I had a long-standing relationship with Amber Wells / Amber Water Pros that was, for years, very positive and professional. We worked together on numerous projects over multiple years totaling hundreds of thousands of dollars. They also installed a $40,000+ well/water treatment system at my personal residence. Until this dispute, I had no issues with Amber personally or professionally. What happened (documented): On or about September 12, 2023, during excavation for a water line, Amber's excavator struck and severely damaged an underground electrical service wire, causing loss of power and significant disruption. After investigation, it was determined the damaged line could not be practically repaired and a new line needed to be installed. Licensed trades (electrician + sitework for excavation/re-trenching/backfilling) completed the repair/replacement work for approximately $3,900. Throughout the repair process, Amber and I stayed in communication and it appeared we were aligned on the resolution. After receiving the final invoices, Foundation sent Amber a formal letter on November 7, 2023, documenting the costs and stating they would be deducted from Amber's outstanding invoice. Amber received and cashed the check, then requested additional documentation to submit to their insurance carrier, so we reasonably believed the matter was settled. Months later, Amber's insurance carrier (Selective) contacted me about a claim related to the same damages, which I understand was ultimately denied. After that denial, Amber filed a summons and complaint seeking $3,900, as if the prior offset/payment had not occurred. Amber also filed a lien against my personal residence (which was improper and later removed by Amber's counsel). I then had to engage counsel and attempted to resolve the matter amicably, but those efforts were unsuccessful. The dispute went to arbitration, and Amber was ultimately awarded the original balance. My understanding is that Amber prevailed largely because their contract controlled and my November 7, 2023 letter did not contain the legally required "accord and satisfaction" language. Bottom line: While $3,900 is significant, I don't understand the actions taken here--especially given the earlier acceptance of the offset (cashing the check and requesting documentation for an insurance claim) and the subsequent escalation after the insurance denial. In my view, it was not handled reasonably and it was not worth destroying a long-standing relationship. Takeaway: Document everything, confirm responsibility for damage in writing, keep invoices/photos/communications, and be crystal clear about dispute resolution terms before work begins. They explained things, were entirely willing to answer questions throughout the process, were very professional. And, I was very impressed with the fact that they had a bucket specifically for their trash. They could have asked to use our trash can(which would not have been a problem at all) but they actually had their own bucket for that, and there was not one piece of trash left. I truly appreciate the level of conscientousness these two men put into their job, and I hope the company knows that they are an asset in representing the company when they go out to a jobsite.
