Almost time for Buzzles to re-open for spring. wonderful shaved ice and worth a drive to get over there, especially on a hot day. Huge flavor menu, sometimes overwhelming. Sugar free options. Too bad they closed their kiosk location down in The Woodlands...hopefully they will find a better spot in TW one day. read more

Love this place. The employees are so friendly and when I was 7-9 months pregnant I'd go every day and they would remember my order. The punch card system is awesome. If you buy before 1pm you get a double punch. After so many you get a free snow cone ANY SIZE. highly recommend anything sour! read more

OMG they are so good! I'm so glad I found the place. Yes, the line was long but you can order either at the counter or do the drive thru window. I'm not a picky person but I am when it comes to snowcones. The ice is super fluffy and plenty of syrup. I hate when you run out of flavor and just have ice. Not the case here, tons of flavor! I'm a grown-up but the best way to explain these snowcones are happiness in a cup! read more

We gave this place a try because of all the great reviews. While the ice is shaved very nicely, and they have a fair selection of sugar-free flavors, it still seem like the flavoring was muted and not as strong as some other snowcones we've had from other stands. On the plus side even though the flavors weren't as strong, the sugar-free flavor tasted better than for example the sugar-free flavors that they have at Bahama Joe's which seem to have some sort of weird aftertaste. read more

It's not Hawaii, but they have a large variety. Don't get a large or bigger size, it's just ice in the bottom, they don't put enough juice to reach the bottom so mine was only 2/3 full of flavor then straight ice. I liked the sweet cream topping. Don't get the Swedish Fish, they place it on the bottom so it's really hard and frozen by the time you painfully bite into it. read more

Great place to go with kids, or without, and have the best sno cone in Spring. Awesome flavors (my fav is Harry Potter butter beer). We go at least twice a week. I used to love coming here for shaved ice with my family and friends up until I noticed how a worker was treating another employee. She was very rude and making her feel uncomfortable (I could easily tell.) She was an older lady and she is honestly the reason I may never come back to Buzzles. To add on, the way the managers act towards the employees is very disrespectful and I don't understand why anyone could go to a place where the managers are so cruel to their employees. read more

I love coming here with my family every time i visit Houston, because it's a very friendly environment in which my kids can play games. This place is so cute! I love the decor and there are so many fun choices. I tried the Italian Wedding Cake with ice cream and my nieces got the Strawberry Shortcake and the other was Watermelon and Green Apple. All the f flavors we tried were soooo good! I'd give them 5 stars, but I've experienced attitude from the young girls that work there recently. It has only happened a few times, but still unnecessary. My only other complaint is that there is too much syrup in the snow cones. I do like the punch cards; every 10th snow cone is free & on the 50th punch, you get a free t-shirt. I'm not much of a snow cone person but after I tried this place I'm in love. The buzzles flavor is awesome. Also I tried dreamsicle with a scoop of ice cream which is also amazing. The ice is very fine and soft. The people are friendly and it's very clean inside. It is a little more expensive than other snow cone places but to me it's worth it. All around awesome!! read more

I am upset by the night staff here, you claim that you close at 9pm Monday-Thursday but your employees close shop 35 minutes earlier than intended. I love Buzzles don't get me wrong, I am just shocked that just because someone doesn't come into your store for awhile you assume you can close up 35 minutes earlier than you are scheduled to stay. I planned on flagging one of the young ladies down to ask why they had closed so early, but i remembered the drive through. I tried the drive through and these young ladies had looked at my car like they had never seen anything like it before. read more

Two words: PEPPERMINT SNOWFLAKE!! I think it's cake batter and peppermint and it's got marshmallow fluff in it....whatever it is, it is delicious. It's not overbearingly sweet like you would imagine and it tastes just like happy with snow on top. I literally went to their store front location, ordered one, ran some errands, and then hit their louetta location (my favorite stand!) and got another one. I liked it better at the shack. Maybe coincidence but since they moved to the store front the quality has gone down hill. That being said I have mainly dealt with the women with all the rings in her ears and face and she has not been giving near enough syrup in the cups. This was a great find. There was a long wait of cars, which seemed dangerous waiting on the side of the road, but move all the way to the edge, put your hazards on and wait because it's worth it. The ice is so smooth, not grainy as most other places I've had. They add the perfect amount of syrup where you don't end up with just flavorless colored ice or too sweet syrup. read more
