Not great. Service was fine but food was not good. The chicken strips were more like patties and the breading on them was very odd.

Went to brunch on a Sunday. Great food and I especially enjoyed the drag show. The atmosphere was laid back and fun.

Parking is in a paved lot right in front of the building but there is more in the adjacent lot. The only problem is if you pull into the front lot but don't have a parking space you can't get to the adjacent lot without going back out onto the divided highway. The legal way to do this is turn left at the divider opening and go back towards Jonesboro about a block, then turn around at the next divider opening and turn into the adjacent lot. There could be an opening to the adjacent lot from the front lot but it is blocked off with a railroad tie. There is a handicapped space right in front of door. The parking spaces are not marked so you need to be considerate. This trip was for breakfast on a weekend, and the restaurant was about half full when we arrived. We were greeted as we walked in and told to sit anywhere. Seating is to the left and is all tables with few seats at a counter to the right as you walk in. Our server came by right away with the menu and took our drink orders. She brought the drinks quickly, but we needed a little more time to decide as the menu is decently large and diverse. She returned in an appropriate amount of time, the sign of a good server. Our food arrived about 10 minutes after ordering. The Magnificent Seven had two eggs (cooked slightly less than ordered, but not an issue), hash browns, two sausage patties, two small pancakes, and a biscuit. The biscuit was dry but would be fine with gravy. Everything else was quite good. Of note is the little jelly packets included seedless blackberry jelly and apple butter, a very nice change from the typical grape and strawberry offering at most restaurants. My dining partner selected the meat omelet, which also included toast. The omelet was large and completely filled with meat. It was a very good selection and very filling. There is background music playing which is noticeable but not loud. Conversation was very easy. The restaurant was mostly full by the time we left, but the servers still seemed to be keeping up, as was the kitchen. Overall, this was a good breakfast for a fair price, and we definitely plan to return.

One truly remembers a place this wonderful. Located in beautiful quaint Jonesboro, there are many uniques shops and restaurants. Tennessee Hills offers tastings. The personnel are knowledgeable and friendly. We have had some of the best conversations with the staff and customers. This time we had lunch at the cafe next door. Fantastic food choices the Reuben and spicy chicken sandwiches get my highest recommendation. They offer a great number of mixed drinks made with their craft distilled spirits. Several Sunday football games were on the TVs in the cafe. The mood was festive in the cafe. Tennessee Hills has a new location in Bristol too! We will be back again and again!

From our parking spot, we spotted Tennessee Hills Distillery and knew we needed to check it out. The Tennessee Hills Distillery opened in the historic Salt House of Jonesborough in 2016. We were immediately impressed with the downtown area of Jonesborough and the salt house in which Tennessee Hills Distillery is located. The building itself is amazing and is something that we would love to have as our own. We are drawn to historic commercial buildings that are being preserved and renovated to house businesses and/or homes. After walking inside, we were even more impressed. They were offering complimentary tastings and we decided to participate. We thought the pineapple upside down cake rum was delicious. They have a wide selection of liquor ranging from whiskey, flavored whiskey, rum, flavored rum, gin and vodka. They also have some nice SWAG for purchase and unique gift items. We purchased a bottle of their Pineapple Upside Down Cake Rum to give to our good friends. Overall, this was a great visit and we highly recommend to others.

Keep in mind that, as of today, the Jonesborough, TN Cook Out is the shiniest and newest in the world. Since it's in "The Oldest Town in Tennessee," it's also likely the best. We just do hospitality better here, y'all. So, the menu is fairly expansive and diverse for such a small burger joint. Not to worry, just get what looks good on this trip and leave something for your return visit. Because, you'll be back like Ahhhnold. For my money, I usually get a cheeseburger tray. After that come some tough decisions. So many sides and drink options! If you want to try it REALLY Southern, get the delicious hush puppies and a Cheerwine Float. I mean this is fast food in The South. Where deep fried food is an art form. You don't come to CookOut to impress your Primary Care provider with your lab results. The burgers and sides are good. Idk about the onion rings. Yet. Cheddar Bites are on the to-do list too! I can't emphasize this enough... the milkshakes are worth the trip EVERY time! Seasonal flavors like watermelon in the summer and egg nog in December. I can personally vouch for Peach, Mint Choc, Caramel, Mocha, Toffee, Blueberry, Cappuccino, Pineapple, and Double Chocolate. And that's just a fraction of the flavor options. Pro Tip: At THIS particular Cook Out, there are 2 lanes in the drive thru. It's still early days yet, but the locals haven't figured out that the right lane is faster and has a dedicated pick up window just around the building corner from the inside lane's pickup window. Go to the right save some time. And pick up a milkshake for me while you're out!

The inside is vaguely reminiscent of a cafe and there is a sofa seating area with faux fireplace and large screen tv which was playing sports. There is a large display of sweets and treats as well as the person making the crepes. They have a large array of coffees, teas, and drinks. I believe I saw boba as well. The food menu is relatively simple but does have some unique offerings. We ordered the chicken crepé with a 1/2 salad and the Club sandwich with homemade chips. The crepe was light and had a nice texture. The sauce on the chicken was garlicy very tasty. The salad was an advocado salad and it was fresh with just lettuce, advocado, red onion, bell pepper, and cut cherry tomatoes. It came with ranch dressing. I asked for bleu cheese dressing but they did not have that as an option. I also attempted to order a coke but they only had Coke zero despite having a full Coke fountain machine within view. The club was fresh and the homemade chips were crispy according to my mother. I had the chai latte and it was very tasty, maybe slightly sweeter than my preference but very good. My mother enjoyed a regular latte. One young man was particularly helpful and patient with my mother, who has the onset of dementia, while she was deciding what coffee she wanted. Now lets talk about the things that left us a bit put off. This was our first time at the establishment so we went to the cashier, which was a young woman with long dark hair and glasses, she told us to take menus and then come back to the register and order. The was zero smiles or welcome or glad you're here to try our food. When I paid, there was an option for a tip, which I thought was ridiculous because so far I hadn't really received any service. We didn't receive any additional service either other than someone placing food on the table while we were ordering a coffee for my Mom. When the same girl dropped off food to the lady that sat behind us, she didn't say a word to her or ask her if she needed anything. So, I guess our experience with her was status quo. It was 32 degrees outside and it was also very cold inside. It may be because they were getting a delivery and the door kept being opened and closed. The music, where we sat in the back, was rather loud and was certainly not background ambiance. Lastly and concerning is the wiping of the tables. The tables were not being cleaned with a disinfectant between customers, they were using Pledge. I saw two tables "cleaned" in this fashion. I could not believe what i was seeing! This cannot be up to regulation. So, all in all, would I come here again? Maybe if I have a craving for a crepe.
