We had a great experience both times with my toddler. It's not easy to cut toddlers hair because they have zero patience and move around a lot but both times the barbers were able to put my toddler at ease. They talked him through the process and asked him questions which he liked. They also really listened to me as the parent to give me what I wanted. They have a fridge with beverages which is a nice treat as well. My only tip is even though this isn't a kids barber shop I'm sure they get kids anyway since Glendale is very much a family friendly neighborhood, they should be some sort of treat. A lolipop, balloon, juice pouch, sticker just something to add onto the experience. Would definitely go back for our third visit ! read more

Paul and Will are amazing barbers! Will took his time to cut my husbands hair and made sure we were happy with the results and his haircut was even. As for Paul, he is a baby whisperer! My 3 year old son is terrified of getting his haircut, and Paul took his time to make my son feel comfortable with him. He introduced the clippers to him and showed him his tools before he started. Do not come here if you have curls. The guy was nice enough but ignored everything I asked him to do. I asked for a cleanup but he cut my hair like I assume he does for the majority of his clients with straight hair. The only saving grace is that it will be fine in two weeks. He did have a lot of attention to detail, but now what i was hoping for. It'll look fine in a week or two. read more

I don't do reviews very often unless its well deserved!. Buzzed Barbers! you guys are AMAZING!!!! I came across this place after a Starbucks run. I saw a Grand Opening banner and it just so happened I had been looking for a place to take my son to get a haircut. Looking for a kids barber that will be patient with a kid is hard let alone looking for a place that will be able to cut a child with special needs. I walked in and was right away greeted by EJ and Matt. I was letting them know I was looking for a barber to cut my son's hair. They both said they are more than happy to do it. I then asked if they had any experience with children who have autism, they did say no BUT! would be more than happy to make accommodations needed to make my son comfortable. EJ gave me their card and said to please call him once I was ready. I called him on Wednesday morning and talked to EJ, if he had anything available that day he said Yes. We prepared my son by walking to the shop and explaining we made a quick stop at Starbucks (his favorite place) to smooth the transition. After Starbucks we walked over to the Barbershop we were greeted by Matt and introduced my son to him, took him a minute but he waved Hi. Matt showed him where he was going to sit. We got started my son was apprehensive at first since he's not comfortable with strangers. Matt, was amazing he took his time and was very patient with him. Our son would move around and Matt would allow him time to calm down and proceed. There were a few times my son would move and it looked like he wasn't having it, Matt again would give him some time. We asked if they could put a cartoon on their TV for him without hesitation EJ started looking for cartoon, our luck Toy Story 2 on of his favorite movies was on which helped. It felt like it took forever and I'm sure even longer for Matt but he was so patient and great with my son. My son has curly hair and I didn't want to lose those curls which is why I only asked for a trim less nothing drastic, we got exactly what I asked for. It was a great experience for my son's first hair cut. I can't express the gratitude enough to Matt and EJ, you guys went above and beyond customer service expectations. THANK YOU, THANK YOU!! I have been to this place three times with appointments made ahead of time, but all three times I had to waIt more than thirty minutes to got a hair cut. The second time that I went there I asked the barber Francisco to contact me if he is running late. But sure enough I made an appointment today at 12 pm and I asked if he is running late and they said no. I showed up a few minutes early and 30 minutes later I was still waiting. Obviously he didn't have the decency to call or text me that he I is running late. If you don't value your time and you don't care about waiting a long time this is youR place. read more

I came in for a clean up and had a great overall experience. I didn't make an appointment but I was still able to get a haircut even though they were slightly busy. The whole staff is welcoming and friendly. The waiting area is comfortable with a clean vintage vibe. Music was upbeat and fun. They also have refreshments upon request. Juan was amazing. He pays attention to detail and will let you know what looks good and what will not. He is very professional but really easy going and chill. I'm definitely coming back. Feels clean and super welcoming. The owners of the shop greet you and make sure you're attended to. Adrian even took time to sit and chat while I waited since I was early. They still made it a point to get me in the chair even though I was early. I made an appointment with Paul. Cool guy and straight to business kind of barber. He made sure to listen to what I wanted and my concern was when going to a barber. I can tell without looking at the mirror he was doing everything right because he took his time. I recommend making an appointment online via Yelp! They respond quick! Parking is easy unless it's "peak" time but the barbershop is in a plaza next to Starbucks. Grab a beer while waiting!
